Great! Very pleased with my service with this company. My two movers DJ and Cliffton were AWESOME. They got stuck moving me in the middle of a thunderstorm and refused to consider the option I might not move on my scheduled day. They buckled down and got the job done with zero complaints and a positive attitude. All of my furniture was wrapped carefully and professionally so nothing got wet in the rain. They never dinged a wall and none of my furniture was damaged in the move. I was very pleased with my service with this company and would definitely use them again in the future. Price was extremely reasonable, especially since I had a Groupon for $200 worth of service for $99 (2 hours for price of 1).

Here to There Movers were scheduled to start my move at 8 am. They did not arrive until 11 am. They had been fully informed of the items and size of the move. They sent two workers. The workers repeatedly told me over the time which it took them to move that they were not enough. They stated this was part of why they went over the time estimated for the move by multiple hours. I moved from an apartment which required elevator access. Here to There Movers caused $4,000 of damage to the elevator of the apartment building. There is a clause in their contract with insurances for this purpose. I attempted on multiple occasions to reach Here to There Movers via multiple phone numbers which I had for them as well as email addresses. I was told that they had to have the option of repairing the damage prior to paying for the damage and was given a time frame for this. I did fulfill each of their requests. The majority of the emails were ignored. Subsequently they stated that they had never received the emails. I was fortunate to have saved the sent mail as proof. This went on for many months. The landlord was requiring payment for the damage. As this would have been $4,000 out of my pocket for damages which Here to There Movers caused to the building which I had rented I contacted the insurance company through which I had renter's insurance to see if this would apply. After a large named insurance company informed them that there would be legal proceedings against Here to There Movers should they choose to ignore the issue, Here to There Movers suddenly became responsive. The issue was only resolved after much time consuming effort and multiple months. I not only would not recommend Here to There Movers, I would strongly recommend against using Here to There Movers.

Three man move with a stop off locations before the final destination. First location on 7th floor of condo building so elevator was used in the move. Stop off location had two flights of stairs. Final destination is a two story home. Two of the three gentlemen were very courteous and polite. The third was generally polite however when we first met, he was smoking and was flicking his lighter. As for the move itself, the two gentlemen were outstanding, took care of all of our items like they were their own. Also paid special attention to not ding or damage any walls or doors/door frames. The third gentleman however was not as careful, tried muscling everything and rushing. That resulted in him dropping and damaging a 70lb $500 mirrored nightstand by dropping it down a flight of stairs. Broken and cracked glass drawer and chipped wooden frame. Fortunately the man was unhurt. The man was apologetic and you could tell he was upset with himself, however, afterward he was still careless and kept bumping items into walls. Would definitely use the two other gentlemen again, but using this moving company again will depend on how they handle the reimbursement for damaged goods, as if it can't be fixed, the reimbursement will be just a fraction of the total value.

The people did a good job, they were on time, they did not scratch or break anything, and got finished in a timely manner.

Both Tom and Tony were professional, fast, responsible and friendly service was solid and fair. Objects were moved up difficult staircase with ease and without damage.

Service was OK. Staff were friendly and punctual. However, they damaged my wall when moving the sectional. This was not a problem as they did send someone out to repair this in a timely fashion. Mainly, however, when opening the container they sliced a large hole in my leather sectional!!! They were elusive for several months when I tried to get them to get someone out to repair it. Eventually, they gave me the old eleven cents per pound minimum. Of course, this is absolutely ludicrous. I have had movers damage expensive things in the past and they have owned up to it and paid a fair replacement value. These folks, however, were not reasonable resulting in a terrible overall experience.

It went really well, They were fast , kind, and professional. I was very pleased with their work.

I used them a couple of years ago. They gave me an estimate and then they told me since they because they would unload the stuff they were charge a lot of money and they broke some of my furniture and said they would make it right and they never did. It was an awful experience.

Their rates are reasonable. They are punctual, professional and have not broken any items.

This instance began by purchasing an ecommerce deal off of Angie's List for 2 pre-paid hours of services for this service provider. I called in and I'm not sure what female I spoke with, but there was some confusion as I tried to schedule the move and get specifics about extending past two hours and all of the details that were required. She spoke with a manager in the background, and then proceeded to attempt to solve the issues and supposedly "booked" the appointment. I got off the phone with a feeling much less than enthusiasm over having the scheduling nightmare completed that I was hoping for. After discussing with my better half the details of how that went, I determined that I needed to call back and straighten some items out, or at least confirm/clarify things, and potentially ask for a refund and not use this company. This is the reason for the "B" in professionalism, as I would have rated it a "D" at that point in time and was seriously considering requesting a refund. Upon my second call back, it was an entirely different experience. I reached Jennifer, who worked her way through everything, was very professional, helpful, asked a lot of vital questions, worked through the details, and straightened everything out. She said she'd make a note to mention to management the experience I'd had the evening before, and did a very good job amending the situation. When there was a question she wasn't 100% certain on, she found the answer while I waited and made sure to leave the conversation in a completely concluded manner with no concerns or worries of any kind. This was especially impressive because of the fact that it was multiple items from multiple locations and was a confusing plan to begin with. The day before the move, Jimmy called to confirm and told me that the movers would be arriving approximately at 9AM, as I had scheduled for the 8-10a window, and then Jimmy called again on Thursday morning to notify that the movers (his two best) had departed, were en-route and would be arriving within 30-45 minutes. The move: Ronnie and Jermaine were the two movers that arrived about 8:30a, and they were indeed very high quality. They did a brief walk through, in a professional and appropriate manner, and immediately set to work getting all items loaded from the first house. I worked my way through the house doing various tasks while they were working, and while they moved with good speed and great efficiency, they were very careful with the items they were packing and leaving with. They finished everything at location one (bed, W/D, two tables, 6 chairs, a ping pong table, an entry way table, TV, and some various other items) in an hour flat, and were on the road to the next location. Moving with the same careful speed and attention to detail, they packed all the large items (we packed kitchen/bathroom), and loaded all items and were gone in just over 1.25 hours. Moved to the house, dealt with some construction issues well, and proceeded to unpack everything. Again, flawless work with each item, efficient and organized with a good flow to the way they brought things in and maneuvered them around. They even had to move some things a few times while she was making up our minds about which bedroom set went in which bedroom. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and not only would I use them again, I would recommend them to others and would request Jermaine and Ronnie as the movers they provided again.

Initially things seemed ok. They were a little late, but called ahead to let me know. The two guys that came seemed professional and got to work. They took care to wrap dressers and the railings to prevent damage. I wish this was where my review ended...I have a large television mounted to a stand. I'm pretty paranoid, so I just had them set the tv to the side and take the stand. I was planning on taking the tv myself later. Well, after it was leaned against the wall, I had to step out to take some phone calls for work. This was about thirty minutes. When I returned inside, the TV had been turned around (screen was facing out, now against the wall). I noticed, but figured someone thought better and just flipped it to protect it... Two days later I go to move my TV and notice the screen has been smashed. My damage claim has been with them for nearly a month now. I've called twice a week for an update, with the most frequent answer being they needed to discuss this with the manager first, and that was usually going to happen on the following day. I was promised a return call each time, and never received one until today. I was informed since I had signed the BOL stating a reimbursement of $0.60/pound on damaged items, they would give me $148 for my 60" television. I said this was not acceptable, and wanted to speak with the manager. Again, he was unavailable and won't be back until next week. I will not recommend this business to anyone, regardless of how this is resolved at this point. The terrible handling of what I imagine is a pretty common occurrence in moving puts this business pretty low in my book.

We had to pay more than the $99 Big Deal because they had a lot of add-on fees like a trip charge and things like that so it was a little bit deceiving. They were okay at packing. They were not really thorough in detail. They had an experienced packer and a person in-training. My wife said not to say anything about it. We basically paid for two experienced packers and the one kid was just following what the older guy told him to. Everybody has to learn somehow, but in my point is why I should have to pay to train somebody. So, I do not think they were as efficient as they could. I gave them clear instructions on what to pack and they totally missed one cabinet and it was the heaviest pots and pans. So, we had to have our neighbor pay to have it pack it up and ship it out. That was like another $350. It did not turn out to be a very good Deal out all. Their pricing sounded fine. I bought the Deal and I talked to her and she told us that they have this and it sounded like it was going to go somewhat beyond that. I asked her how will I know and she said that she does not know until they got there and see how much it was. I accepted that, but then, they dealt like an $80 trip charge. I did not have time to go hire another company so I kind of stayed with them. I probably in hind sight just pull the plug and said that it was not part of the disclosure. They showed up right on-time.

Fine except not all the boxes were taken.

Crew was amazing, move went better than expected. Wrapped everything with pads, took great care of our possessions. Had to use 2 trucks and 4 guys to move us. Trucks showed up on time. Movers were quick and efficient. Cost us less overall than original quote.

On 3/28/15 I purchased a refrigerator from Clark?s appliance auction. I hired Here to There Movers to move the item the next day. When I arrived, I learned that they were moving dozens of appliances for several customers. I was never presented any documentation. They told me they would be done by 10 am and would start at my house with my delivery. I did not receive the item until 5 pm. At that point, my partner received the item, and noted damage to the front of the refrigerator. The delivery men knowingly lied to him, and told him that I had declined additional insurance. Had I known that was an option I would have chosen the higher insurance coverage. I called the office to submit the claim, with photos on 3/30/15. I followed up on 4/8/15 and got Joshua, who asked me how the damage happened. I told him I had no idea and he would have to ask his employees. He did not have time to look up the replacement part, so I emailed him with item number and cost to replace the damaged panel. I followed up on 4/15, 4/17, and 4/24 and received no response on my claim. On 4/29 I was told they would pay out their minimum coverage amount. I told them that was not acceptable, and to have the manager return my call. He did not. I called again on 5/1 and got him on the phone. He reiterated they would pay out the minimum coverage that they offer on their contract. I told him that my biggest issue was that they did not offer me the higher coverage, and that I felt it was a shady business practice in an effort for them to keep their insurance claims down. I told him that I found it to be a massive lack of integrity on the part of the company to not offer the higher insurance coverage, and then lie about it ? he disagreed and refused to budge on the payout. Their payout will only cover half the repair cost from their damage.

It will very well. The guys were hard workers. They were very careful with the furniture corgial.

I have used Here to There Movers twice. The first time was in December of 2011, I had a great experience which was why I contacted them again when I was moving in November 2014. Unfortunately, things did not go as well. I was moving from a two bedroom 1700 square foot house. When I contacted them for an estimate I was quoted approximately $500 total fee during that phone call. They did not offer an onsite estimate. I knew this was low based on my last experience, and expected $200-$300 more. When I had a firm moving date I contacted them to schedule and decided to add a third mover to the crew to decrease the moving time which was originally quoted at 4-5 hours. When the job was done it took 11 hours and cost approximately $1600 and I had several damaged items, a rip in my couch, broken chair leg, scratched glass table, scratched hardwood floor and broken & cracked wall hangings. I contacted Here to There Movers the following Monday to discuss the price as well as the damage. I followed up with pictures and they said they would investigate and get back with me. I never received a response, so I contacted them two more times. Basically they told me they would do nothing about the cost, it was my fault I expected an exact estimate when an onsite visit wasn't made and I should have stopped the movers when I knew it was taken too long if I couldn't afford the extra amount. When I told them an onsite visit wasn't offered they told me I was "wrong". They said they would fix the damaged items but wanted to come to my home to see them even though I sent pictures. To be quite honest, the rude and disrespectful treatment I received from the manager and district manager made me decide I would rather fix the items at my expense than have them in my home.

The service went poorly. I was supposed to have them for a full day’s worth of moving but they left in the middle of the day to go to another appointment. Some of my things went missing after the move. They did set up the bed and some other furniture. Some pieces of furniture also did not make it in the move. They did not break anyhting during the move. They ran out of boxes and tried to blame me for them not moving everything. I had no porblem scheduling their service but they did show up late.

The movers were compassionate and caring. They arrived at the promised time, they carefully moved my furnishings without any terrible incidents. They moved my furnishings in a timely manner. I would recommend this service to others.

It was a horrible experience. We gave them specifics as to what had to be moved. Big items such as a piano and pool table. They arrived and had what they called their largest truck. In order to assist the next person who is considering using them please see my unbiased experience. Customer Service is the ultimate factor for all business and they failed miserable. I used them twice because I purchased a Groupon for two moving services. · Showed up almost 1 hr late · One of the guys walked off the job- therefore slowed the time down · They had to make 3 trips to the storage place because of the size of the van · Did not handle our furniture with care. They had to be told to be careful · Make sure you confirm hourly rate as well as van size beforehand. · The boss is so unprofessional. I used them to move a bedroom set and that was an OK experience. I had a problem with the price and thought they would be service oriented because the second move was a 3 bedroom home · Finally after 10 hours, they called the boss for pricing and he said 1,400. We countered the 1400 because of all the trips they took and someone walking off the job. I mentioned that I had used them before and this was unacceptable. His response to me? Do you think I care if you used us before, I don?t care about customer service? I was shocked! He threaten to use the card that was on file if we refuse to pay. By this time they had already taken our items to their storage place and we didn?t want to start this process of moving things out again. · Fast forward to storage space, boxes piled up,our valuable items tossed in, broken arm chairs, mirrors. My advice, get reputable moving company that can guarantee your belongings, a company that cares about customer service. Don?t use the Groupon deals from them?it?s not worth it!

We hired the movers to move a single sleeper sofa from downtown Indianapolis to Carmel. The movers themselves were on time, communicated well, and did an excellent job wrapping, moving, and delivering the couch. They were professional, safe, and efficient, and of course we tipped them accordingly. The problem was with the administrative/corporate part of the company. When I called to schedule the move, they read some very fast line over the phone about "additional materials charges". They didn't specify what, or how much. You have only one option: say yes or cancel the reservation. When it came to the bill, I was VERY surprised to see $20 in "shrink wrap" charges, and $3 in "tape" charges. I could have provided my own for much less. Secondly, I was even more surprised to see a Fuel Surcharge of $21. So now it's $40 of "extras" on top of a $189 charge ($80 flat truck fee, plus $109/hr for 1 hour for 3 movers). When I do the math, that's an extra 21% in hidden fees. That did NOT make me happy. I called the company back to complain about the materials and fuel surcharge fees. They record all the customer calls. They said I could listen to a recording of the call if I came into the office. Instead, they said they reviewed the call (I had to take their word for it), and their agent DID mention the possible materials fees, but did NOT mention the fuel surcharge. They promptly wrote a refund check for $21, and I received that within a week. What concerns me is that given their response, this seems to be a regular deceptive practice, and I still had to go through the effort of getting my money back from the fuel surcharge. If using this mover in the future, we recommend you make sure you review ALL possible fees, and record the conversations for yourself.
