the service was fantastic. I called on 12/7 and spoke with Joel. I explained what needed to be done and he said he would come out with his gutter person in the next couple days to check it out. Next thing I knew, the gutter person came out himself to look at it, said it wasn't a big deal to fix, hopped up on a ladder and made the repairs. The price was more than fair.

I called this firm back on Wednesday (11-18-20) asking if it was possible for someone to come out to my house and speak with me about repairing the gable trim and soffit. I got a call from someone named Joel. He said he would be out at 9 am on Thursday (11-19-20). He showed up and spoke with me, telling me that he would have to have Nick speak with me concerning the repair. I asked who Nick was--------- he stated that he was the boss. Today is Friday (11-27-20), over a week from the day I spoke to Joel. To this day and time, I have not received any type of communication from Nick. My phone and answering machine work well. Had a call been made by Nick to me, I would have answered the phone (I am the only person at this phone number, which Joel has.) or it would have gone to the answering machine which I do respond to. I don't think picking up a phone and calling me after having spoken to Joel is asking too much on Nick's part but that is what I get for thinking. Communication on the part of contractors overall is not very good based on my experience. Obviously, my job is too small or he doesn't want to be bothered. The easy way to back out of the job and communication with a customer is DON'T CALL the customer. The evidence speaks for itself.

Wonderful experience all around! I called to ask for an inspection/quote after a storm damaged our roof/siding. Nick was prompt, showed up the same day, and communicated via text when he was heading our way and the expected GPS ETA. He pointed out what he was seeing as he inspected the house and was nice enough to put a few pieces of siding/shingles back in place. Great experience, I couldn't recommend Heldman Exteriors enough!

Nick Heldman and his team did a fantastic job replacing our 20-year old LP siding with new, pre-painted Hardie Plank. Their quote was very competitive (less than I anticipated), they were easy to work with on scheduling, and the workmanship was really impressive. I was especially pleased with the look of the finished product - like brand new cedar. We used Heldman Exteriors for some minor window replacement in the past and they were great to work with on that project as well.

Heldman was easy to communicate with, offered a very fair price, and was honest and trustworthy throughout the process. Would definitely contact again.

I have never dealt with a more professional and responsive company than Heldman. I would recommend them to anyone I know and have done so a number of times since I had them replace my roof. Hats off to Nick and his team!

I had difficulty getting a response from the owner and later agreement that I was entitled to warranty work. They replaced the trim and siding. Used a nail gun and didn’t fill any of the holes in with caulk. The trim and siding were pre-painted before they installed, which may explain why (they didn’t want to be there doing the work and it went fast). A year and a half later, I’m facing repairs again. I wouldn’t hire this company again even if they were the last ones left around to do the work.

Rick and his team did a very fine job. Rick responded to my voicemails in a timely fashion. When work was scheduled, it was completed when stated. When follow-up was needed, the company came through. The roofing crew was very thorough. I can tell you I found maybe 2-3 roofing nails around the perimeter of my home after work was complete!!!! Great job!

Ritchie Heldman came out and measured our windows, gave us an estimate that we accepted. We scheduled a day and time to get the job done. His team were on the ground bright and early and by the time I got home from work the job was done and you would not have know they were there. Everything was taken away and all was clean. The team showed us how the windows worked. They were personal and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Heldman Exteriors came out to fix the windows that were leaking. Although I found a small leak after the fact (a few months later), I told Heldman, and they came back out immediately to fix the issue at no cost. Great service! Definitely recommend.

Heldman Exteriors has always done a great job for me, and my daughter, all of the people working for Richard have been excellent and professional.Richard,the owner, is right there advising and explaining what needs to be done,and if there is any problems he is right there to take care of them. I have always found they gave me the best prices. I hope this may help someone, Heldman is a great company to work with.

took longer to get the correct material since the color inside the box was different than the label (what Heldman ordered) - the manufacturers fault. We have used Heldman for more than 30 years.

Better than expected! Heldman Exteriors totally out did themselves, and beyond impressed with their services. We recently hired them for a new roof/drywall repair, and made us feel like a top priority. We were able to get this inspected, scheduled and completed in a short time (all less than 2 weeks), plus the roofer completed their job in 1 day! They were so professional that my husband and I walked our yard after they left and not a SINGLE nail could be found. It was like no one was ever even there. We were very grateful to have such a professional company take great care of us. We also used them previously for siding and again blew us away with great customer service, pricing, scheduling, quality of product, and exceptional crew (again cleaned up like no one was ever even working on our house). We will be using Heldman for anything we could in the future and recommend them always to our neighbors, friends, and family.

Some severe weather pulled the vinyl siding off our house, and Heldman Exteriors made the repair/replacement process so easy! They were quick to respond and, most importantly, fulfilled every promise along the way. They met every deadline from when I could expect an estimate all the way to the project completion. Andy kept in constant contact with me along the way and he was so great to work with. Their price was slightly lower than the other estimates we received. Andy recommended replacing the entire wall but he was going to use the same manufacturer as the rest of the existing siding on our house. Every other contractor wanted to replace the wall with only their preferred manufacturer. Then, the finished project looks great and the quality of work is greatly appreciated.
