The repairman was very personable and didn't mind me asking about problem I was having with a second door, which also wasn't always closing as it should. He showed me how to adjust that door in addition to raising the garage door so it wouldn't stick.

I contacted them this morning and was told that while they were busy, that they would try to get to me within a couple of weeks, which was fine. Two hours later, they called and said that a service man would be at our house within the next 4 hours. Two hours later, Curtis knocked on our door. It took him about an hour to fix our door. This level of responsiveness, professionalism, and craftmanship is unbelievable. Now our door doesn't stick!!!

The workman showed up when promised. Since the door is metal, there wasn't much that could be done to the door, but he shaved the door frame just enough so that it would open and close like a door should. It's much easier to open and close now from both inside and outside. The frame probably needs a little paint to cover the part that was shaved, but I'm very pleased. He even cleaned up the shavings after he was done. I had been afraid that I'd end up having to get a new door or it would cost a lot to fix. If I'd known how quick and easy it was, I'd have done it years ago.

Door was order after March 15 deposit and installed the w/o May 21. Took most of day to install door unit. Seems to operate well. Had a few issues after installation which Heartwood addressed. Was not happy with the finish work inside the house and they provided some compensation for me to get it addressed.

I talked to a very nice lady who scheduled a repair appointment that afternoon. Kevin came and quickly determined what the problem was and subsequently adjusted the hinges so the door would lock. However, even though the problem was resolved, he continued to adjust the door to make the fit as perfect as he could get it. The result was that not only did the door close easier and lock correctly, there was no frigid air leaking through the door. The outside temperature was about 10* on January 2nd. I also asked him questions about other concerns I had about that door and also our front door. He patiently and throughly answered all of my questions and suggested how he could fix these issues. When the weather gets nice I will schedule him to address these additional issues. I couldn't be happier with my experience. It is so nice to watch a master of his craft work his magic.

It went well. They came out and measured the windows by appointment. Once the Insulated glass windows were ordered they came out and replaced them. They were very courteous and efficient.

They came out twice, once to measure and once to install the new pane. Both techs were friendly and professional. I thought the cost was very reasonable for two trips to my house, the window pane, and the installation. Window looks like new.

I had previously hired two different repair services to fix the leak, neither was any help. Heartwood came out and discovered what I had suspected--a fault in the flashing from the initial installation of the door, years ago. They stripped off the old flashing and installed new, custom-cut flashing to fit the door, working in a tight space (due to the door's location). This was work well done, and a tremendous relief to finally find a service company capable of repairing this problem. The leak has disappeared completely (several heavy rains later, not one drop has come in).

Everything went great. They came in and installed a new welded frame, removed and relocated existing doors and re installed hardware. Looks great.

The technician came out for a window repair however it took a very long time to get back to me with the estimate. I don't even think they ever got back to me with an estimate. I just want people to know not to pay anyone $85 just for an estimate. There are plenty of window companies that offer free estimates. This place is not worth your time.

The service was great! Installer removed the old door and intalled the new one without issue. Even rerouted my security system wires so they could still come into the house around the door. Will be using them again for rear and patio doors. Quality product and professional service.

Excellent. It was priced less and done in less time than the handyman I use quoted me. It was a unique situation due to us living in an older home and the frame needed building out, so I feel better that I opted for the experienced. The door looks great. He left our foyer and outside clean. We'll touch up a few items with paint and look forward to being able to add air circulation in our family room.

It went well. The installation was quick and, despite an issue with the initial install, they did a great job and we are happy with the finished product.

Everything was excellent. Perry was easy and great to speak with. Nick and Kevin were a pleasure to be around when the install was happening. The new door looks much better and now we wont have puddles on our floor from leakage around the seams. This was one of the more flawless interactions I've had with a contractor. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The process took an entire day. The crew worked hard to get the project completed by the end of business hours for us. There was a minor issue a few weeks later and someone came out within 2 business days to resolve it.

Heartwood Enterprises was great to work with. They were very responsive and answered ALL my questions. When I would call, they returned my call usually the same day, or the next day at the latest. I talked with Adrian, the sales rep and Suzzie, the office manager, numerous times, and they were always informative and patient with me. They worked with me on price and I believe the price was fair. When Kirk and the other installers were out the first time, one of them even took time to answer another door question and fixed a knob on our bathroom door. We originally purchased 3 steel doors, but realized, after one was already installed, that it was dinged. Heartwood took care of this and re-ordered us a door. We decided to go with a different decorative glass and in fiberglass instead of steel. They didn't hesitate to make this right. They called as soon as the door came in and came out a few days later to install it. Kirk, one of the installers even put up the bracket for our valance after the fact. I would definitely recommend Heartwood to others. Of all the door companies we had come and talk with us, Heartwood was the only one that really seemed to want our business and make sure that we were pleased. Heartwood is an excellent example of how to get business, provide a service and product and follow through.

The exterior door in the basement was old and extremely inefficient (I would have to put tape on the seams during the winter as cold air would just blow right in). Heartwood was recommended by a neighbor who had some door work done a couple of years prior. Perry Sloan was the sales manager who came out. He took measurements, went through the options, and emailed the quote to me. The door had to be ordered, and I was contacted when it had arrived to schedule installation. Two installers came out. They were at the house approx 4 hours as they had to remove the frame and re-install everything (the house was built in 1937 so I'm sure nothing was square). They installed the new hardware I bought and when they were done, walked me through everything they did. The door is now airtight and looks great (and actually shuts properly). They did a great job for what I thought was a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone else looking to have work like this done.

Perry Sloan was very thorough and did the right job by searching for the correct parts to eliminate air leaks and looseness to double entry way doors. His crew also were excellent craftsman. After they began the job they found they had to actually take off trim work and re-shim the entire door frame. The work took about three hours but once finished it was a perfect fit for the doors, no more draft leaks and doors were sturdy once again with very little play. the clean up was impeccable, no trace they had been there. We were patient with getting the job done as it took almost a month to get all the parts needed but it was the best money spent last year!

It went very well. Perry Sloan, the sales representative, was very affable, knowledgeable, and conscientious in setting up both jobs. He is a very nice guy. The door went smoothly from beginning to end but it was not certain that the sidelight could be repaired. Perry found the right resource for repairing (actually, re-manufacturing) the sidelight and it was successfully repaired. It now looks as good as new. Perry saved us a lot of money by working to get it repaired instead of trying to sell us on a much, much more expensive replacement. The workmen in both jobs were conscientious, efficient, and very pleasant. Heartwood seems to have happy employees! Overall, this was a very positive experience. I would certainly use Heartwood again in the future and would heartily recommend them to others without hesitation.
