Kirk and Nick were on time, very friendly and went right to work. They were very helpful in making sure my requests were met. Completely professional. Never took a break. They cleaned up so well, that you would never even know that a new door was installed. I would use their services again for any door or window treatment. I would also ask for Kirk and Nick. Did not choose this contractor. Choice was based upon the availability of a secondary service which the successful bidder was able to provide. However, I would have been happy to do a contract for the patio doors with this provider based upon presumed quality and price.

When I called Heartwood to set up an appointment for the measurement and estimate of a replacement door, I spoke with Suzie. She was the most professional and pleasant customer service representative I have spoken with in a long time. I was also happy to hear that their service rep and installer, Kurt, was still with the company. Kurt had provided maintenance on two doors at my home approximately ten years ago. Heartwood's sales rep, Perry, called the next day to set up the appt at my convenience. After I advised Perry of the type of door I was looking for (less likely to rot like the current door), he provided several options and thoroughly explained the difference and qualities of each option.. There was NO pressure to commit to a purchase or sign a contract at the time of measurement. I received a faxed written estimate the next day. I received a call from Suzie less than two weeks later, that the door was in and ready for installation. Again, Heartwood was very accommodating to my schedule and installed on the day I asked. The installation went great . Both Kurt and Nick were professional and personable. My only regret is that I ordered an entry door from a big box store prior to contacting Heartwood and I'm still waiting for the installation. My thanks to Heartwood's owner , Adrian McCord, for having two of the most pleasant and knowledgeable employees that care about providing excellent customer service.

I was looking for a contractor to do multiple kinds of work so I chose this one. Perry came out and did an estimate of the jobs that were actually done as well as two extra that I was considering. After narrowing the projects down to three, I wanted to see the material and color for the front door. Perry took time on a Saturday to meet me at the closed office and talk with me about the otions and to help me pick windows that would work best without additional costs. The order took a few weeks due to the holidays but once the items were in, the scheduling came quickly. The team of workers came on time and completed the jobs very quickly and did a great job on each. The weather was still very cold but they did their best to minimize the exposure to the cold air as they worked. They were considerate, polite and made certain that the job was done right. They even changed the lock on the door so that it matched my old keys and corrected a problem with a bent metal bar on the sliding glass door. They left without replacing one small item on the door but a call first thing the next day corrected the problem immediately. Given the temperature that day, I was concerned about whether the cauking might be a problem. I was assured that if there were any problems in the spring thaw that I just needed to call and they would come out again. I am very pleased with the resulting selections and the work. I would hire them again.

Really an A+ on Professionalism. Gave a B for Quality, because I had to tweak a few things afterwards. Remember though, this was Commercial Hardware in a Residential remodel. Also, the Contractor would have fixed any tweaks, but I am an Engineer, and I like to tinker

The four season room work was done okay. It was disappointing that they had a concrete truck drive up through our front yard and cracked the side walk in the front and left deep ruts all along the front and back yard. They did repair the concrete and lay sod down where the ruts were but it was done hastily and not with quality. The horrible job was on the roof. It took them over 6 days and they still were not finished. They didn't tarp it well enough so ended up with two leaks on one day when it rained. The job was done so poorly and one worker was caught sitting on the roof smoking a cigarette. They did not tarp or cover the area around the house when they took out the old roof, so nails and shingle pieces were left all around our home. We finally "fired" them and had another company, who came in and completely started over and had it all done in 2 days. I would NEVER hire them to do a roof or siding!

They showed up on time even though the roads were terrible due to a recent snow storm. I didn't think there was any way they would have the parts to fix a 42 yr. old door. Turns out they had the parts on the truck and had installed the rollers and adjusted the door after it was reinstalled this was all done in a very timely matter. I was told the service charges by the pleasant lady I talked to on the phone and the only add on would be the cost of the rollers after it was determined what model of roller it would take to get the door back in order. All in all it was a most pleasant experience. The two men who did the work were professional as was the lady who took my information. I have already recommended them to a neighbor and would recommend this company to anyone who asked.

He showed up on time and went right to work removing my old handle set. Took great care during installation of new handle to be sure everything was level and that the moving parts all moved smoothly. He noticed that the doorframe latch plates were not recessed into the wood. He used a chisel and skillfully mortised them. He adjusted some hinges to make the door hang more evenly. Had to drill a new hole due to this handle set being a different length from the previous one. He filled in the old hole and smoothed it well. Careful, skilled worker. Cleaned area before leaving. Will definitely use this company again.

They did a great job and I would rate them an A+ if I could.

The company crew was on time, completed the job, removed all scrap. All the work was done professionally and in a timely manner.

The thing about it is that the first time I went through the process, the Home Owners Association turned me down. When I worked with the salesman of Heartwood, he stepped in and spoke with them; he did an awesome job in terms of getting it done. After a while I got a letter from the Home Owners Association that they had approved it. Overall, I was quite pleased.

Great-from the 1st call to the estimator to the craftsman- I think the only downside is- because they use such high quality materials-they are not the cheapest but at least you know you are getting what you pay for. I was amazed at Perry's expertise and the craftsmanship of the person who put the door on. Great all the way around.

Agreed to purchase 3 season sunroom package from Heartwood Enterprises. They communicated very well and kept to the schedule. They did lose their project manager and their construction manager for the majority of the project, but worked with us on progressing on the job. We added the hot tub later in the plan and Heartwood bent over backwards to piggy back that work into the project. Their VP Adam McCord kept us informed and worked with us on all the issues. Adam ensured all of our anxious moments were addressed and kept the communication ongoing. The real hero was Kevin. He pretty much took on the whole sunroom project ownership and was an excellent Heartwood employee. Kevin was that 'everyday' guy who made sure that we saw progress and was always there to help us understand what was going on. There were issues with the sub-contractors for the concrete, but Heartwood brought in additional help to get the project finished.

Estimate given quickly, materials ordered, and work completed efficiently within the quoted time frame. The price seemed a little high for what we had done, but to be honest, I didn't get any other estimates, so can't compare. Also, we were supposed to be the first stop that day, but the technician mistakenly went to another job first, so I did do some waiting around for him to arrive. However, overall, we were happy with the company and their work, and rated them an "A".

My condo association required a specific type of window be used to replace any older windows. Heartwood Enterprises can custom order those specific types of windows. The company determined what windows to order then came and installed them. The price seemed a bit high, but I did not have a choice in what window brand to use. They were punctual and did a good job installing the windows.

The job was adequate. The person who installed door was good.

After receiving 5 estimates to put a sunroom on my house, I chose to go with a Betterliving vinyl and glass room. I found the whole company to be professional, honest, timely, open, and a pleasure to work with. I was kept informed the whole way. They did more than I expected and I am thrilled with the outcome.

It went very well. He did a very good job. He was very professional and explained the work that he had done, which I appreciated. It was a very positive experience.

Service rep showed up as scheduled and had the parts to make a fairly speedy repair. He did have to remove the door to effect the repair. He did not have a tarp to place the door on or a rag to clean his hands. We put some extra area rugs down but we still ended up with a greasy spot on the carpet that we needed to clean.

Company performed beyond my expectations. I was kept informed the whole way. Crew was professional, polite and competent.

We needed a replacement for a glass in a Pella window that had been damaged by a BB gun. I was told that they could easily replace the glass. The installer that came was late arriving and wasn't even able to identify the type of window that we had, even though Pella windows are very distinguishable from Anderson windows. They are a authorized Pella dealer and I would have expected them to know the difference. He assured me that it could be replaced in 30 minutes once they figured out how to remove the glass. I had doubts that the glass could be removed since there didn't appear to be a way to get it out. The installer (Curt) took measurements and left, reassuring me that it would be a quick, easy fix. I received a phone call 3 days later letting me know that they talked with Pella and there wasn't any way to remove the glass and the whole unit would need replaced. He suggested that I look up the serial number and call Pella directly and get a replacement unti and install it ourselves. I would have expected a Pella authorized dealer to know the windows that they are selling well enough to know that the glass couldn't be replaced and the unit would have to be replaced. I don't blame them for the need to replace the whole unit, that is the Pella design, but I would expect them to know that before making commitments to have it fixed in a few days. We were considering replacing windows and using them to do the work, but after this repair service and their lack of knowledge about the products we will find another company for our remodeling effort.

They were a god send. We were robbed on the evening of the 17th, and they were able to come out on the 18th a put in a new door. Worked with us to address issues of security, and were very friendly. We appreciate them helping us at such a stressful time.

He picked up all of the trash and cleaned up very well after himself and even took the box that the storm door came in. Curt did a very good job. We would use them again. He was very personable and friendly. He was also very knowledgeable. When we called the first time we spoke with Matt and he was very nice and helpful. Their company is very nice to work with.
