+ -1 moreRepairman called to confirm his arrival time and was very friendly upon arrival. He was able to repair both pocket doors, neither of which I thought could be fixed. He was very careful to show me what parts of the door frame had to be removed to allow him access to the pocket doors, and tried hard to limit any damage or mess to the surrounding trim. He left both rooms cleaner than when he started.
Description of Work: Repaired two pocket doors and one set of sliding closet doors.

+ -1 moreThe experience was excellent. The representative who answered the phone was quite knowledgeable and sent a repairman to the house within two days. The repairman arrived as scheduled and replaced both the door handle and the locking mechanism. The door now works better than it did before both the handle and the locking mechanism were replaced.
Description of Work: Replaced a handle that had broken off of our sliding glass patio door.

+ -1 moreIt took about a month for the stained glass panel to be made. Once it arrived, the install was done immediately. Kurt and associate are skilled craftsmen and they did an excellent job.
Description of Work: Kurt and his associate removed my entry door and took it to my garage. I had pre-ordered a beautiful stain glass insert for this door. Kurt carefully cut the steel from the front and back of the door. They then inserted the glass panel and framed it in place.My door was then re-hung with the new stained glass in place. Kurt returned, later, and installed pre-ordered door hardware.

Original quote was to include prehung door, but when sales rep (Bob) visited my home, he determined that it would be more cost effective to replace door only (this also minimized the time it would take to receive the door), which was a hinge plus to me. Installers showed up right on time, installed the cat flap and hung the new door. Great job, very professional, and the cats love it! OK, so they don't love it as much as they enjoyed the convenience of me leaving the door open for them, but I definitely love it!

The work was completed in less than an hour and we are very pleased with the results. After completion of the work, the gentleman offered future services if necessary and we will certainly use Heartwood Enterprises.
Description of Work: We requested and estimate and work on doors in our home that had failed to latch due to the house ''settling''. There were also a couple of doors that had gradually weakened at the hinges and one closet door that had gotten off track. The company came out twice. The first time to provide the estimate and recommendations. The second time to complete the work. Repairs were completed on 6 different doors at a very reasonable cost of $75.00. The work was completed in less than an hour and we are pleased with the results.

Description of Work: They replaced an oversized stationary panel that is a part of an oversized sliding three panel patio door. They also replaced the sliding screen door to this oversized three panel door. Because these were oversized it required a precise measurement.

+ -1 moreThe customer service rep for this company is absolutely the most professional and pleasant person I have spoken with in a long time. Kurt (service tech) was as professional as always. Still experiencing water leaking during heavy rain, but unsure where it is coming from, as I have since had laminate flooring installed and unable to determine source of entry. I am certain that it is not coming from the newly replaced threshold.
Description of Work: Water leaking under French style patio door when raining heavily. Kurt came right out to determine what needed to be done. He had to order a new threshold (existing threshold had rotted). Kurt performed a temporary fix until the threshold could be installed.
