The scheduling of the job was harder than it should have been. I feel they could do a better job communicating with their customers. However, that said, the actual job went very smoothly. The men were very prompt. They arrived at 9am, took lunch from 1-2pm and finished at 6pm. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They did an excellent job and my walls look wonderful! I would most definitely use this company again in the future.

Things went well. The owner had everything done he said would get done. He had a few guys come out to to finish the job all the guys were great.

I contacted Heartland Painters to give our family an estimate for painting the interior of our home. The representative came when he said that he would, was polite, and gave us a business card. Then he asked me how much square footage that we had in our home. He was only at our home for probably ten minutes without measuring or even wanting to look at any of the rooms. The other two companies gave us detailed estimates and their representatives spent considerable time measuring the various rooms. The man from Heartland promised a quote on the next Monday. It has been a week and a half, and we have never received any correspondence. We have decided to go with Five Star Painting. They are extremely professional and prompt!

I called to get an estimate. Tim was running late - and called to let me know prior to the scheduled time. When he showed up he was professional and went through his process with me. We then walked the house and he committed to having me the quote within the next day. The quote arrived via email the next day as promised and the price was very competitive.

This is a top-flight operation from head to toe. I couldn't be happier with the results. Heartland was one of three companies I selected from Angie's List, and after one visit from each company, Heartland was the obvious choice. Tim is wonderful to deal with; he came out a day or so after I called, we discussed the work I wanted done, and then several days later I received a professional estimate. From then on, if Tim didn't answer on his cell phone whenever I called, he got back to me within a few hours. The painters were all excellent, spoke enough English to be able to communicate with me, and they left no trace once they were done that they'd ever been here. I highly recommend Heartland to anyone looking to paint their house.

I had contracted with Heartland Painters for their $450/16 hours of labor.I wanted the exterior trim (wood work) of our vinyl sided two story house to be repainted. The two painters came at 9:00 AM and worked solidly for eight hours each.They did take an hour lunch break, but they each worked eight hours in total. I directed them in the late afternoon to move along to insure that they covered the secondstory portion of the painting. That way if they failed to finish I could finish up on my own withoutneeding an extension ladder. In the case of the metal surfaces (downspouts, gutters and garage doors) two coatswere necessary. Additionally there were some areas of trim that required three coats.The painters were able to get it all done in one day while I supervised. My expectations and my wife's were fully met by Heartland Painters.We think it was well worth the $450 price.

The overall experience was wonderful. I heard quickly from Tim. He explained it would be a 2 partial day process to let the drywall work dry. Then,I had a scheduling snafu due to my work schedule and he bent over backwards to accomodate me. The workers showed up exactly at the time promised to start the stipping. They worked quickly, neatly and efficiently. They were exceptionally good about cleaning up any mess they had made even to the point of replacing things on the counter I had forgotten to move before they came and they moved them out of the way and put them back. Tim called to confirm they had arrived. I liked that he checked in just to make sure things were good. On day 2, the painter showed up. Again, he worked quickly, and was so neat about everything. I finished quickly and the work was exactly what I wanted and expected as far a quality and performance. I am already prepared for an estimate on the next job with this company.

We feel really lucky to have found this company--we waited a year to have this painting done, because we couldn't do the two-story entryway ourselves, and we were short of money. So finally we saw that Heartland was running an Angie's List "Big Deal." The owner came out to give us an estimate, and he was on time and pleasant and professional. The day of the scheduled painting, he called to let us know the painters were stuck at the paint store so they'd be a few minutes late. When the 3 painters arrived, I showed them all the areas to be done, and they set to work like gangbusters. They were so neat and polite, and quiet! (I've heard friends complain about painters listening to the radio while painting, so I thought I'd mention this.) They cleaned the walls, took out nails, patched holes, and made sure to cover all furniture. When they finished, they had my husband walk through and check their work. They said if we found any flaws at all in the next few days, call them and they would come fix it. Well, we searched and searched--flawless painting. We would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs painters--in a few years, we will call them to do exterior painting.

Amazing. Such care and attention was taken with the walls, we now have two bathroom walls that are the smoothest and nicest walls in the house! They went above and beyond the job scope to ensure the painting process was absolute perfection. The Porter Paints brand is far superior to other big box brands, and I was a skeptic until I saw the finished product - good, rich coverage and a depth of color that is noticable when compared to our other walls. Tim was polite, professional and responsive during the appointment and subsequent scheduling - his team of painters were awesome - clean, friendly, quiet, accomodating and very hard working. I couldn't be happier with the end result and will use Heartland Painters for all future painting work, guaranteed.

Ditto above. This company may very well be a very good and repuatble firm, but they lost their chance with me by a lack of follow-up.

I gave them a call and they came out the very next day. They worked for eight hours straight with no breaks. They work was ridiculously good. I'm going to have them do future projects in my home.

This was work we scheduled several weeks in advance. Timing was important in the flow of the project. They showed up when they said they would. Their employees were punctual, hard working, and took care in the work they did. They masked off floors and woodwork where needed. The quality of finish work was very good considering the conditions and surfaces they had to work with. One of the guys accidentally broke a storm window that was removed. They took it to the hardware store, had it repaired, and returned it without argument. This was not the first time I used Heartland Painters. They painted the interior of another entire house that we renovated. Reasonable pricing. Tim O'Brien is a pleasure to deal with and often says "Not a problem, we can do that." I recommend these guys and would use them again.

Great. We purchased deal through Angie's List. Very punctual and excellent quality work. Very clean--no sign that they had been there--no trash around house, etc. All of this occurred while we were at work. We never met anyone. All done by phone.

The crew from Heartland Painters was phenomenal. Their attention to detail, thoroughness, knowledge, professionalism and efficiency were impressive. Having an older home (1910) with significant dark woodwork, I was very concerned with the protection of the woodwork. The crew from Heartland removed all these worries. They caulked, masked,taped, sealed, etc. You name it and they did it. Having textured pattern ceilings in the living room and dining room, I was concerned with the level of coverage but again the crew knew exactly how to ensure excellent coverage and made sure it was done right. The crew also painted two areas with wainscot and both look great and the best part is I don't have to spend hours cleaning paint off the dark wood base. I enjoy painting but couldn't hold a candle to what these guys were able to do in the time they did it. Thanks Heartland Painters for a tremendous job well done!

They did excellent work. They completed the job under a very tight time schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and we were very satisfied with the result of the work. We would use them again.

Overall I think the communication was very good setting up time to scrape and let me know when they were going to paint. I was told they were going to be scraping and that my house may look "ugly" when I got home, But, much to my surprise the house had been scraped and mostly primed that first day. They came a day or so later and applied the first coat of paint to the house. The weekend had come and I thought it would be the following week before it would be done. I came home Saturday afternoon and 4-5 men were there painting! I was shocked that they were there on a Saturday and they finished that day! It took about 3 days start to finish for our house transformation and I LOVE IT! I would recommend Heartland to anyone looking for excellent work and a very reasonable price.

At the time, I had to have a chimney rebuilt. They were good in the sense that they had to wait on me to start the project. Once I was ready to go, they were ready to go. They didn't paint the deck or the grass; I was very happy that paint didn't go flying all over the place. Phenomenal price, the deal was a good one and they even did extra like powerwashing beforehand. When they were painting the ceiling on the front porch, there were some cracks and they caulked it! The workers who came actually took pride in their work. The crews really had a good work ethic!
