Used my work as a fill in.

They took one day to take down wallpaper and prep and another to paint. Cleaned up nicely after the prep day and cleaned up after the painting day but would have liked the clean up to be a bit more through after the painting. Painters did a good job and the rooms look very good.

Excellent. Would hire Heartland again in a minute and refer to others.

A 4-man crew removed the wallpaper the 1st day. I was impressed. It was somewhat messy traisping from my office to the bedroom but that's to be expected when under construction. We had to repair some minor cable wiring, phone jack, overhead light fixture snafus when switch plates were removed to paint. The cleanup was fairly easy. The crew was friendly, the owner thorough and professional. The area looks good. I would definitely use them again!

This company is great. They adjusted to a change in days for me because my move got delayed. They did a great job, no messes at all. I had them do some extra painting and they wouldn't even take the payment for my extra painting till I saw it and that was 2 days before I got to see it. Very nice guy to work with.

I think we are going to go with them. We have talked to them twice. They were professional and timely. They followed up and sent us a professional estimate. We got three estimates and we thought it was reasonable. It was the most affordable.

Very satisfactory experience. I obtained several quotes and chose Heartland based on their quick response and discussion with Tim O'Brien, President of Heartland. Although Heartland's price was not the cheapest, their approach to the project and creative bidding with Angie List discount applied to the deck work appealed to my sense of entrepreneurial creativity. Tim was very responsive and his team were excellent craftsmen. The painters arrived on time and completed the job as agreed. After the job was done, I asked Tim to review a section of cedar shakes that was stained to match the color of the exterior paint and he agreed the color was not right and arranged for his painters to return to apply another coat of the stain. (Tim took one of the pieces of cedar shake to the Porter store to make sure the color would match the exterior of the house) Overall, we are very please with Heartland and would recommend them to Angie's List users.

the owner visited at lunch time (at very short notice) to quote the job. The job was not that large (2 rooms and a bathroom), but the crew worked on a saturday (at no extra cost) and completed the job in less than a day. the price was competative and the work was done quickly....with a follow-up call from the owner (to check if we were satisfied).

They were on time and courteous. I didn?t use them, though.

We were very pleased with the work performed by Heartland Painters LLC. The crew did a nice job in prepping the surface to be painted, including a thorough caulking. They were very respectful of flower beds and the general surroundings. They arrived ready to work and completed the job in a timely manner. Neighbors must also be impressed with the finished project as many are asking for Tim O'Brien's contact information.

Very well. Tim was easy to get a hold of 7 days a week and was patient, kind and responsive. Crew was puncual. I was thorough on making sure everything was detailed on the estimate and that everything was done as stated. Very little correction was needed.

Heartland was easy to communicate with and provided footwork for color matching to an existing color. They did a good job of covering (protecting) nonpainted surfaces, and worked around owner's recently applied sealant on decking. All the workers were polite and courteous to the owners. They stayed on the job until it was finished and did a quick job of cleanup. The paint job was very well done and looks great. We feel like its a better paint job than what was done in the initial painting of the house new.

It was adequate but not great, they didn't completely color match as well as I wanted them too. The application of the paint was good quality except in a few places on the interior. The exterior had good quality. We did have a lot of problems with our deck, but they did come back and fix it. We had difficulties with them showing up when they said they would. The painters were very polite and nice The price was extremely good.

It went very well. They started the project like they said they would with the removal of the wallpaper which ended up being a very difficult job and the price was higher then the estimate ONLY because there were more layers of wallpaper then originally anticipated. It was explained to us before hand if it took longer to remove the wallpaper that could potentially cost more. He was very honest from the beginning of the removal job and said there were 3 layers instead of the anticipated one. We gave them a big job to paint the entire inside of the house and the front of the outside. The approached it in a systematic way and tried to work around us living in the house as much as possible. They were very respectful of our things and took a lot of care to avoid making too big a mess. At the end of the day (the project took 4 days) they cleaned up and moved things that could be moved back so we could still live in our house. They did a GREAT job of fixing the imperfections in the walls and making them look like new. The places that didn't look great they went back over and fixed them. Everyday he asked us for our opinion on the job and took our concerns and fixed the things that we wanted. They were very professional and did a great job. We love our house and now it really looks great!!

Work was done professionally, on schedule, and per the quoted price. Necessary preparations were taken. Crew was curious and prompt. Excellent results.

Pleasant, polite, efficient, cleaned up each night. Pressure washed prior to painting to remove dirt and peeling paint.
