I sent out a request for a quote to several vendors and within a few hours I got a response from 2. I do have a large yard, mostly grass. One quote was 425, one quote was 165 but they wouldn't be able to mow. Harris and Sons came in at 250 and did an awesome job. He called while I was at work to give me the quote and said that if the quote was ok he could get it done right then. He prepped a perennial bed for winter, trimmed shrubs and bushes, mowed the yard, and hauled away debris left from the previous owner. I was very pleased with the work and the price. Will definitely use then again.

I contacted a couple of lawn aeration service providers from Angie's List to get a quote. Harris and Son's Landscaping contacted me within a couple of hours and provided me a general quote. The other two service providers did not contact me to provide a quote. Later that week, Harris and Son's Landscaping came to the house, looked at my yard and gave me a final quote for the job. We set a date and when the date arrived, Harris and Son's Landscaping contacted me to let me know they were on their way. They did a great job! In fact, when my neighbors saw Harris and Son's Landscaping aerating my yard, they called to see if they could be worked into the schedule while Harris and Son's Landscaping were still at my house. My neighbors were able to have their lawn's aerated after mine and everyone was happy with the service and price. I will no doubt use Harris and Son's Landscaping again, as well as recommend them to others.

Bobby Harris (and his team) takes great pride in his work. My lawn is weed-free and always looks nicely groomed. The work is always done promptly and as promised, and I feel the prices are quite reasonable.

They do a very good job and I have been nothing but pleased.

They did a fine job. They did what we had agreed upon. Their prices were appropriate for the amount of work.

They do an average job. I have been using them for almost two years. I like how reliable they are in coming to mow each week. Scheduling is easy and they can come whenever works best for them since I do not need to be home. I have not had any issues with their service.

I contacted the company through Angie's List for a quote on lawn mowing and weed eating--Bobby emailed me the same night with a range, which was acceptable, came out the next day, mowed, trimmed around the fence, etc. They also cleaned up all the debris in my yard and landscaping areas. It looked great and well worth the price!

Lawn mowing and hedging weekly, seasonal mulch top off application and seasonal shrub and tree prune . I contacted Bobby Harris desperately in mid July after returning from vacation. I was very underwhelmed by the services of previous company Spiffy whose service i has since 2010. My grass had gone not mowed for over 2 weeks .I had been promised regular prune and mulching by Spiffy since April and it was almost Aug and still waiting. Furthermore spiffy had shredded my house sidings etc and lied about the rain preventing cuts when it was 86 and sunny. I called Bobby first day at 10 am and he picked up the phone immediately promised that he would be over that afternoon at 4.30pm That afternoon he arrived with his crew timely did a walk around of the grounds as I told him all the services that were needed. Got my quote with immediate mowing. Bobby measured grounds to quote me on mulch and prune. It was excellently done and did a final walk around with me. Very Happy still today!

I am thrilled with the work performed by Harris and Sons! I researched several companies and Bobby is by far the most professional, courteous and affordable. He is prompt with returning phone calls and gives a clear estimate and time frame. The shrub work was very clean and beautifully done. I was extremely pleased with the mulching as well. He made sure to ask specific questions and the quality of mulch is top notch. His crew is efficient and very neat. I was so pleased with the shrubs and mulch I have decided to use him for lawn mowing too. I am so happy to have found an honest lawn care service. Thank you so much, Bobby!!

For the gutter cleaning, they performed work. The only reason I know they did it is that they left a huge mess below around the front porch, house and patio. No formal clean up of any kind whatsoever.They never even knocked or identified themselves to let us know they would be servicing us in that moment, even though I was home all day. Not very professional at all in my estimation. I was not optimistic about allowing them to mow lawn while we were away, but decided to see if they could make up for their first mistake. I should have known better. . . The lawn didn't look bad after the two mowings; however, they edged the lawn (we did not ask for this) and included that in the price. They charged us a total of $224.00, but had initially quoted us for $50.00 for the gutter cleaning + two lawn cut at $37.00 (a total of $124.00). This all sounded very reasonable to us and on par with what we had been charged for our one-level very small ranch with not very dirty gutters in the past and a small yard to mow. However, when we received the bill they charged us an extra $100!!! When my husband called to talk with them about the overcharge, they claimed that that was the rate ($150 for cleaning the gutter?!?!) The owner finally took off $50.00 on the bill, but I still think the business was unprofessional and not honest about the rate from the beginning. Overall, we are very disappointed. We always look to Angie's List to steer us in the right direction on good business. Most of the time, it is right on target. Unfortunately, this was not the case with Harris and Son's. I recommend you look elsewhere for lawn/landscaping service. I had an excellent business we hired through Angie's List to clean our gutters last time and I am kicking myself because I forgot to write a review for them and I also lost track of the name of the business. I'll try again with Angie in the future when we need lawn service and it won't be with this company, trust me.

Fantastic! Bobby came out and we walked the yard initially to get a feel for what I wanted/needed done. The weeds at our house were taking over were just out of control. I also had a large section of the house that is a bed of river rock. He came back with a team just as promised and they got straight to work. I had them rake the rock back about 3 feet and install a metal retaining wall. It looks SO much better and will make keeping up on the weeding and maintenance so much easier. The landscaping looks so good, now the trick is to see if I can keep it looking up to par now that they are gone. Great work, I'll definitely hire them next time I need anything done.

We hired Harris and Sons after using Angie's List to request quotes from several providers. We wanted some help sprucing up our house as we were going to market to offer it up for sale. Bobby was the first to respond and he offered the best price. The first thing that needed done was getting the lawn mowed. After a lot of rain coupled with a work schedule that never seemed to allow me the time to mow it myself, the backyard was overgrown. Bobby came out a couple of times just to get the lawn back in good shape. Regular mowing continued every Monday since then. The next order of business was wedding and mulching several beds that had likewise gotten out of control. Bobby and his crew came out one morning and made short order of that job. He left everything looking great, and we are happy to say that the house sold in its first weekend on the market. I have no doubt that having the landscaping in order helped out a great deal. Money well spent!

I emailed Harris and Sons to do a general spring cleanup of a property that I own. That afternoon I received a call back and Mr. Harris said he could come out and give me an estimate. I do not live at this home . Two days later he called and said that he had been at my property and said it would be $600.00. That was fine with me. Within the next week and a half I got an Email saying the property was finished. I went over to check and it looked good. I will use them again in the future.

I have always done my own lawn care but I have a grass allergy which seems to just get worse every year. It's finally reached a point where it's difficult to get through a mowing and it makes me feel miserable for hours afterward so I decided to hire a service. I requested a quote for weekly lawn mowing service through Angie's List on Wednesday. Bobby called me back that afternoon to let me know he wasn't able to stop by my house that day but would do it on Thursday. I was impressed because I wasn't expecting him to drop everything and give me a quote that day or anything. He stopped by first thing Thursday morning and called me with a quote which I thought was reasonable and I hired them that day. He offered that they could even squeeze me in and mow that day if I wanted them too or wait until what will be my normal day. I opted to wait and then of course my grass seemed to grow like crazy overnight. They came on Tuesday for the first time and did an excellent job . There were no clumps of grass left behind even though it had gotten quite long and the entire yard was very neat and clean, everything was trimmed and no mess left on the driveway or sidewalks. They even cleaned off the remaining dried up magnolia petals that had fallen on my deck. As long as the service continues to be this good, I plan on being a customer for a very long time.

They have been taking care of my lawn for me over the past 3 weeks. I called them for a free estimate, they got back to me right away, the price was fair and within a few days they came out and cut my grass, trimmed all the places that needed it, then cleaned up any mess. The job performed was great! They showed up early, cut the grass and used a weed eater. The price was very reasonable and it was done quickly and efficiently

Bobby Harris, was on time, the job was finished on time and everything looked good. I felt it was reasonably priced for all the work I needed.

They did a really good job. I am pretty happy with them. They have done a good job of not charging me this summer to cut the lawn since it's been so hot and the grass hasn't grown much.

As far as the grass is concerned they do a good job. However, the trimming around the house and the barn was not so good. They did an ok job.
