All work performed done well. Painters clean & meticulous. Would recommend better communication w/painters on specifics of job, needs to clarify with them on areas to paint.

Poor customer service, beware of upcharges. Frist, they will hound you to come quote the job and for you to return a signed contract. After that they don't communicate when your job will be and if/when it is pushed back. We used them twice and the first job they didn't even show up on the start day, nor did they call to say they wouldn't be there (so I cancelled appointments and waited around for nothing). That evening I called them several times and they finally got back to me and said they would be there tomorrow. They never showed. Started the third day. Also, they love to upcharge during the job for things you assumed were included in quote. For instance, I have tan ceilings I wanted white. We told Alltus while he was here quoting what exactly we wanted but when the painters arrived they said it would take two to three coats and be a minimum of $400 upcharge and the quote only had one coat included. When I said I wanted white ceilings why didn't they provide a quote that would include enough coats to make it look good? I am not a painter, I am expecting the professionals to give me an accurate, honest quote. These "upcharges" happened on both jobs on several items. On the second job when I walked the painter through the house he immediately started questioning the quote. So we called Alltus and he had someone from the office come out. I told the painter to wait because we might have to cancel because of the hundreds of dollars over the quote they were saying we now needed to pay. While I was speaking to Matt from the office the painter went ahead painted large patches of white in two different rooms. In the end, we had to cancel the job and I am now stuck with a mess. We called the owner, Ron, to tell him about both of our experiences. He did admit that they customer service we had received was bad but wasn't really wanting to make things right, was just concerned with the fact we might give them a bad review. To be clear, the basement and stairs job was completed (although we will need to hire someone else to repaint the stairs as they didn't include enough coats in their quote to make the stairs look nice, they are streaky with the old paint coming through). The upstairs job is the one we cancelled and that they left a mess. Shame on them for trying to scam their customers.

They arrived early, worked hard and finished on time. They answered all questions and were professional.

The team arrived on time and were very friendly. They were very polite and made sure we were happy with everything before they left - which we were!!

Overall, it went very well. The house was pressure washed the day before painting started. The two painters arrived at the appointed time each day and worked continuously (with the exception of time for lunch). They were courteous and did a thorough job. The only issue was about my two aluminum storm doors. I thought the quotation included these doors, but was told that those were extra since the painters had to apply a bonding agent to the baked-on enamel on the doors before they could apply the paint that was used on the house. This added cost was $60 per door. I probably should have inquired about that when I received the initial quotation. It wouldn't have changed my mind about using Guy Painting, it is just that I would have preferred to know this in advance.

Quality work, painters were on time, communication was effective, job took an extra day due to unforseen medical circumstances for one painter.

The painters took very long breaks several times a day. When they had a deadline they rushed to finish and did a poor job. The painter missed several spots even though they were supposed to put on two coats of paint . They got paint on bricks. Several other areas of the trim need another coat of paint . The painters dressed like slobs. Talked on theirs phones constantly. The beaten up vehicles dripped lots of oil on the street in front of my house. These are not professionals.
