Growworks Landscaping has done the outdoor Holiday lighting for our home for the last five years. They do an excellent job and are very easy to work with. They are responsive to all phone calls and arrive when they promise. And they gave us an Angie's List discount without our asking for it. That was nice. I would highly recommend Growwork for any landscaping or Holiday decorating needs.

I had my side and back yard landscaped with plants and a pathway. I needed a dog friendly area in part of the yard. Leslie and her staff were wonderful. I wanted as much done as possible before a party and Leslie really worked hard to get the plantings in. She was available to answer my questions at any time. I have had many compliments on my yard. I would call her again for future work.

Leslie and her team do outstanding landscape work. Leslie has great design ideas and made very thoughtful choices about plants and bushes that met our expectations. Her team arrived on time and worked efficiently and answered any questions we had about the care and watering of the plants.. We have hired GrowWorks Landscape in the past and have always been really pleased with the results.

Leslie was easy to work with and had great ideas for the plants that would fit the architecture of my home and the design for them. Her crew was an efficient group of hardworking guys. We enjoyed working with all of them. The result is a beautiful entryway to my home that I will enjoy for years to come.

Leslie and her team did a great job. They are very responsive to feedback and want to make their customers completely satisfied. Our yard now looks like a paradise and they selected plants that will be easy to maintain. I found their prices to be better than competitors and they don't try to oversell. We have also had them come out to help with maintenance and that was great too. I really enjoyed working with them and will continue to do so in the future.

Leslie has a great eye for design and is very creative. She works hard for her clients. She's good people! I am in Real Estate and have seen the work of a lot of different landscapers over the years. Leslie is amongst the best!

I had yews that had grown up nearly to the roof line in front of a window, creating a security issue. GrowWorks removed these and replaced them with 6 smaller spreading yews. Leslie, the owner, was onsite at every step; she answered all my questions and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as were her staff members. They had a difficult time removing one stump, but they came back with other equipment and got it out. Leslie also noticed that a tree in front of my house was rubbing against the roof and offered to have her workers trim that back for an additional $100, which I concluded was well worth the money. She also gave me advice on a huge climbing rose that had not fared well during the winter, which I greatly appreciated. I should note that GrowWorks was not the low bid on the job, but I was so impressed with the time and care Leslie gave to evaluating the situation and finding out exactly what I wanted that I concluded I would prefer to work with them. I asked about ways to reduce the cost and she worked with me to make that happen, but she was also honest about what could and couldn't be done. The new plantings look lovely and healthy, and I'm very pleased with the work and the company.

Leslie was a joy to work with. She responded in a timely manner to my call for landscape design and when spring rains delayed the date for the work to be done, she kept me apprised of the situation. I tended to the watering of the plantings over the summer. When a couple of the plants didn't thrive under my careful attention, she happily replaced them. One of the things I liked best about Leslie was her quick response to me emails. I rarely, if ever, did not receive a response the day after my query. Leslie and her crew were a pleasure to work with.

I contacted Leslie last fall regarding some needed garden area clean-up. As a result of the quality of work performed, I spoke with Leslie about landscaping for the spring. After meeting with Leslie several times over the winter months we agreed on the work that was to be performed. Due to delays on my part the work was done in mid-summer. I am very pleased with the job. Her crew cleaned out my old garden---saving the things that we planned on reusing and removing other plants so that I could reuse them in another part of my yard. She then redid my garden and it looks great! In fact, I was so pleased I added to the scope of the job. One of the things that I really liked about working with Grow Works is that Leslie was very open to working with some and my existing plants, reworking their placement and adding to the design with new specimens I have already talked to her regarding additional work.

It took a while to get booked, but once booked everything went to the clock well. In a way I am glad they couldn't get us in earlier in the summer because that would have meant we had to continually water the plants through the dry/hot season. I believe the plants will do better having been planted later in the summer.

Lesley is extremely responsive, prompt, hard working and her fees were very reasonable and fair. One day, she was stalled at another project nearby waiting for some products to arrive. So, she sent her team over to my house (earlier than planned) to start working on some of the removals and clean up. Her team members were very polite, efficient and also worked very hard. Lesley far exceeded my expectations and I'm very grateful to her. I will definitely call her in the future.

Leslie's landscaping visually opened up the front yard making it look much bigger. She put in plants that I had never thought about, and the whole area looks great! She did a terrific job. The soaker hose system is something else I had not thought about, and I'm so glad she suggested it. I've already used it a couple of times, and I can't believe how well it works. I highly recommend Leslie and her crew for creative work as well as for the basics!

My yard had been neglected for many years and needed a lot of cleanup before any thought could be given to planting anything new. Leslie and I walked the yard while she asked detailed questions about what I wanted done in each specific area. A couple of days later, I received a proposal which was very close to what I wanted but needed a couple of minor changes to include things I had thought of after she left. Leslie submitted a modified contract the next day and I signed it. The job entailed cleaning up all non-lawn areas of my yard, including: 1. cutting back and spraying several patches of poison ivy to kill the roots 2. removal of dozens of small (up to 3 feet tall) volunteer maple trees in garden beds along with several larger weed trees and lots of just plain weeds. 3. digging out a long strip of gravel that had been the foundation of a sidewalk which was removed previously 4. adding and compacting new soil in the resulting trench to bring it up to the level of the surrounding lawn 5. spade-edging all flower beds and walkways 6. spraying tree stumps with chemicals to keep suckers from sprouting 7. spraying pre-emergent weed killer on cleared areas to help keep the weeds from coming back 8. spraying weeds in gravel driveway 9. removal of all debris -- there was a lot of it! In addition to removing the plants I didn't want, there were several plants I wanted to salvage for reuse in the re-designed yard. The GrowWorks crew wasted no time in getting rid of the stuff I wanted gone while preserving the plants I wanted to keep. Their work ethic is exemplary as I saw no goofing off at all, so the job was completed quickly. In fact, it took less time than Leslie had estimated so there was a credit on my final bill. Overall, I was extremely impressed with Lesie and with her crew. She takes the time to make sure she understands what the customer wants and effectively communicates it to her crew, and her crew follows through on implementing the plan. Most of the time she was working right along with them but they kept up the same pace even when she wasn't there. I would readily recommend her to anybody who needs yard cleanup work done, and I plan to hire her again to design and install my new landscaping.

Leslie and the GrowWorks crew worked closely with me to design a garden that would fulfill my needs and make use of the entire back yard. The crew will do the transplanting and install most of the new plantings in 2013 due to my financial constraints. They began the garden by planting two 8' wisteria plants against the house to provide visual and experiential interest against the tall boring wall. They also removed an existing, poorly laid, stone garden path. They redesigned the path course, lengthening it by about 15 feet, and set the new path in polymeric jointing sand, using some of the existing stones as well as new ones. My daughter and our exchange student planned a high school graduation party that was to take place around the time the garden was to be finished. Leslie and the crew installed planters at different heights around the yard, and the yard was gorgeous for the party. Leslie puts a lot of thought into her work. As she's into the project, new ideas spring forth and plans change for the better. It's fun to watch her think, you see how the rest of her world disappears when she's in thought. She's great at sharing her ideas and listening to feedback. I would definitely use GrowWorks again.

The service was great. The owner is a perfectionist and does an excellent job. We have no complaints with them.

Leslie and crew do a great job. they are very easy to work with, pleasant and polite. I highly recommend Grow Works. They also have put up our outside Christmas lights for the last three year.

The experience was great. The workers were polite and helpful. Our yard has never looked better, and, despite the summer's heat and dryness, it held up exceptionally well.

GrowWorks did a beautiful job and looks as though no damage was ever done to the yard... I have used GrowWorks the past 4 yrs for all our landscaping needs from gravel installation, hedge trimming, splice seeding, plant and tree installation. Always happy with the work performed by Lesley and her team.

My experience with GrowWorks was positive. The backyard is lovely with repair being done to a small wall of old fieldstone, constructing a pathway, plantings of perennials and myrtle, mulching, and addition of sod to the backyard. I worked with Lesley the owner. She came inspected the back yard, listened to my comments, and came back with a plan for restoring the wall and landscaping the backyard. Since much of the yard is in the shade, most of the plantings are shade tolerant but in the sunny areas rose bushes and peonies were added. Work also included preparing a pathway to the basement door which required preparing the walkway foundation then putting in stepping stones and filler stone. The pathway was lined with a perennial grass. It is lovely. Her method of payment was reasonable, with basically the cost divided in half and she kept me updated to any additional cost that might be incurred. I was able to make the decision as to whether the extra plantings or work should be done before it was. Lesley was very cost conscious. Her workers were excellent, polite, worked hard and steady and cleaned up the yard as they finished each task. I am very happy and pleased with the outcome and will have more work completed by GrowWorks in the spring.

Leslie has great vision and suggestions - and has always kept within budget and time constraints. We get lots of complements from friends and neighbors, and highly recommend GrowWorks for creative landscaping.
