Terrible experience. Paid deposit in February 2022 and thereafter had no communication from company. No response to email inquiry or phone message (left with live person). A crew showed up unannounced in mid July and started work - fortunately my wife was home and saw them and called me. I rushed home to find french drain being placed in least desirable location and perennials being planted contrary to plan. Too late to change drain location and while I was able to convince crew to plant perennials in proper location their work was poor: plants needing more sun planted in deepest shade and those needing more shade in sunny areas. Several of the plants died within the first week despite my best efforts - and I expect to lose several more despite watering and fertilizing. After job completed I heard nothing from company except a late fee charge because apparently they don't check their mail box. (I paid by check and it did not clear for over two weeks. Fortunately once I called and said look in your mail the check cleared and the late fee was waived.)

I contacted this company because they are WFYI supporters and focus on native plants. They charge $60 for a one hour on-site estimate or no charge for a 15 minute phone inquiry. My estimate would have taken 10 minutes if they had come out so I opted for a phone call. After I scheduled the call, it was around two weeks before I was able to speak with someone. When I did, it was basically send me some pictures and I'll get you an estimate within the week. A week went by and I heard nothing so I called. The person I spoke to said she would have the individual I spoke to earlier get back with me. To date, I have heard nothing. Bottom line - don't waste your time with this company.

I feel the need to write a review *note* my experience was last spring March 2019 to May or so 2019- but since there was only one review on here that stated a negative experience I felt I needed to collaborate his review. I was SO excited to find a landscaper who specialized in native plants and thought they were the perfect fit for me. I paid them $450 to design a front walkway and small front patio, pergola, and water garden. First, I agree with the other review, that it was extremely difficult to get any response from this company. I paid my money in full upfront (which I thought was strange, but I did it) and had to call numerous times- over months to see my design. It looked nice on paper, but the amount of times I had to call and email to ask someone to come out and discuss the project, I just didn't have the energy or time to pull teeth to get them to actually do the project. I also received many excuses as to why they did not respond - they have not contacted me since last summer, I never actually told them I wasn't going to do project with them, I just stopped making the effort of calling and emailing and they never reached out to me. I am disappointed.

Greenscape Geeks exceeded my expectations. They were responsive and quick to complete the job. They provided design ideas and were adaptive to my ideas. They go above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. If you need help planting grass, replacing or adding plants, or getting that dreamy HGTV curb appeal look, these are your guys!

Absolutely horrible. I used Greenscape Geeks starting in early 2018 and since then, it's all been downhill. I was a full fledged client until the end of 2018 (things were okay, not great) and then in 2019 they just never showed up at my house despite emails and phone calls since March 2019. I should have fired them in early Spring when it was nearly impossible to even get a response from them but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as the owner said he was very busy and things had changed with the business and they were dealing with growing pains. I have gotten sporadic responses (usually after emailing and calling more than once) every month since March indicating they would be out to do some basic weeding and clean up. After the last guarantee 2 weeks ago, no one showed up and I never heard from anyone about why they didn't show up after they personally told me I was "next on the list". I typically don't leave negative reviews because I'm a small business owner myself and I know the effect reviews can have but I've given this company so many chances I feel personally offended at this point. Usually I chaulk these things up to poor management but now I feel they have just been lying to me, telling me that "someone was on the way" or "you're next on the list". If you tell someone 4-5 times your going to do work and NEVER show up something is seriously wrong with your company. I'm sure they have done good work in the past but I would steer clear of working with them now.

In the fall of 2014, Greenscape Geeks had cleared invasives from the area and laid plastic sheeting to kill off the remaining undesirable plants. In May they returned to plant a wide variety of native species, including wild ginger groundcover that will emerge after the upcoming winter. Together we had chosen sun loving, shade loving and rain garden varieties to plant in the different garden areas. After planting, they covered the area with pine mulch, and later added more because it was looking thin. They also came out and trimmed back a couple of shrubs that were stressed from transplant shock. (Shrubs are warranted for a year and will be replaced if they don't make it by next spring.) The cost above includes all of this work, both fall and spring. This is one of several projects that the Geeks have done for us, all of excellent quality. I have been remiss in not taking the time to do reviews. Lanette Erby Abbott and Nick Abbott are wonderful, talented young professionals who bring enthusiasm and creativity to the job.

Lanette Erby was fantastic. She was fun to meet, enthusiastic about her work, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I absolutely plan to use this company again for future lawn maintenance needs. I really appreciate the company's emphasis on using non-chemical fertilizers and local flora. Lanette kept me informed all along, the work went smoothly, and it was an enjoyable experience.

Lanette provided quality service at a reasonable price. They came when they said they would and did an excellent job at making my gardens look their best for my housewarming party. I couldn't be more enthusiastic with my review of their work!

Greenscape Gals did a great job with our yard. Very professional, responsive, and punctual. They were really hard workers - even our neighbors noticed and commented how much pride Greenscape Gals must take in their work. We love that a service for "green" lawn care exists in Indianapolis. We are looking forward to the spring to see our awesome lawn because of their hard work :)

Absolutely delightful to work with. Lanette's enthusiasm for plants, the environment and being green comes shining through. The new plants added to the back garden are beautiful. By adding new and transplanting some, it looks more peaceful and balanced. The front border was a mess. Lanette removed all the bricks and came up with an entirely new edging design I would not have even thought of. I was beyond thrilled at the transformation.
