Last winter someone broke the back window of my Honda Fit. I discovered the window was broken on Saturday afternoon. On Monday I called several places and they all told me they couldn't replace the window for 2+ weeks but glass doctor was able to get me in the following Thursday. They vacuumed the broken glass out of my car, removed the remainder of the broken window and then replace the back window. They even gave me a discount as a first time customer.

Provider was suggested by insurance agent. Called to receive quote for auto windshield repair due to slight chip. Price was competitive with other providers. Ultimately chose another provider simply due to location. Would still consider using them in the future for any other window needs.

All phone calls were answered quickly and professionally, window took 1 week to come in and they installed it 4 days later as I requested! Installers called when they were on their way, got right to work when they arrived, cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed. They were very friendly and courteous enough to make sure they put on bootie, shoe covers every time they crossed our threshold. Window looks great and it was a simple process! Thank you!

My experience with Glass Doctor of Indianapolis was good. My overall experience with them was very good. The work was performed quickly and very accurate to what we were promised. They were able to do exactly what we are looking for on a repair job. I would use them again in the future.

I'm a repeat customer. Very satisfied with the job: replacing windshield. They worked with my schedule & had it ready just when they said they would. I'll go back to them for any windshield repair/replace. Very friendly, too.

The Glass Doctor... Was there for me when I needed them the most! I recently received a disturbing emergency phone call at work from my housekeeper - saying that my 1 piece 12 ft long and 5 ft tall master bathroom mirror was coming off the wall! I rushed home to my house in Carmel and found her and her daughter struggling to hold up the huge mirror. Quickly taking over with one hand and calling for help on my mobile phone with the other hand, I reached Carmel Glass & Mirror. I explained my predicament and begged for assistance. A dispassionate lady said...all of her service guys were out on service calls. As my hand was starting to get numb she said she could have her team stop by in about 3 hours. After hanging up...I called the Glass Doctor. I was greeted by a caring lady who listened intently and said...all of her service guys were out on service calls. After a brief period, she said she just got authorization to pull two of the service guys off of their current call to immediately come to my assistance. Both companies indicated the service call would be the same price, which was nice to know. But at that particular moment - I was thinking about my "safety" more than the cost. When I needed them most...the Glass Doctor... didn't leave me hanging (literally)! I will never forget their genuine kindness, true compassion and customer service...nor will I forget the callous disregard and lack of customer service from Carmel Glass. The funny thing is...for the past ten years, I had been a loyal customer of Carmel Glass (since I live in Carmel) and had never once thought about calling or actually called the Glass Doctor - who is located on 89th Street in Indianapolis! Overall I am happy with the service and quality.

Went with another company whose price was slightly lower but I was impressed with the professionalism of the contact person I spoke with (unfortunately I don't recall her name) and her willingness to negotiate pricing and get the job scheduled as soon as possible if we elected to choose them. It's a reflection that they would appreciate your business and show respect for your time and money.

It went well overall. I initially called them at 8:30am to schedule for a remote replacement of rear car window. They said they could get me in that very day between 3pm-5pm. The total price for that was going to be $231 for removal of window & remote installation. I received a call a little after 12pm stating that they had made a scheduling conflict and couldn't get to me that day for remote install but could do it next day OR I could come in to the shop & have it done that day. I needed the work done that day because rain was to start up again the next day and I also had to be at work. So, they got me scheduled for 5pm that day........I had to remove my rear window myself at my house because it was completely shattered and the only thing holding "somewhat" together was the window tint. I wouldn't have been able to drive all the way to the facility without it falling out or something....that is the whole reason I really wanted the remote install. But I understand things happen... So, I removed the window and vacuumed up the shattered glass. I received another call around 3:15pm saying I could come in earlier because they had an appointment no show. I told her I would try to get there around 4:30pm because I was finishing up some work and couldn't leave at that very moment. By the time I was heading to them I called to let them know that I was trying to get there but may be running a little behind. The owner told me not to worry because the previous appointment ended up showing up and they were just finishing up. He just told me to be careful and they'd see me when I got there. He and Jasmine, who were the people I was communicating with, throughout the day were very nice and pleasant to deal with. The owner, Tim, talked to me the entire time while my window was being installed. Very nice and down to earth man! It took about 30 minutes for the install. Now I'm not sure if that's because I had removed the window and cleaned up almost all of the glass myself or not but they were fast and the window looks great! Because I was chatting with the owner & paying my bill at the same time didn't realize they had charged me the remote install price ($231) and I had been quoted a $191.99 install at the shop price. I went back inside and asked Tim if that $231 price was correct because that is what I had been quoted for the remote install. He was VERY nice & apologized and said that was incorrect. It should have been the $191.99 price. The invoice in the computer had not been changed from remote install to shop install. He refunded me the $40 difference. I would definitely have more work done here!! And they also install windows in homes, glass showers and doors, etc.....which I didn't realize! One stop shopping! =)

I drove across town to have the windshield replaced while my wife & I had dinner at a nearby restaurant we enjoy. The plan was to return after hours to pick up the car, so I prepaid and instructed them to lock the car and leave the ignition key under the floor mat. When we returned to pick up the car, it was left unlocked--and after searching the entire car the ignition key was nowhere to be found. This being a late 90's Ford, the door & ignition keys are unique. There was no way to start the car. I called the phone number hoping for an after-hours attendant or an "emergency" contact--no luck. Furthermore, I noticed that the A-pillar trim piece was not properly secured at the top of the windshield. Frustrated, we drove home in my wife's car. We returned first thing the next morning, hoping for an explanation. I was told it was the service tech's mistake, and offered $20 cash in compensation (I did appreciate the gesture). Regarding the A-pillar, I was told the service techs were all on house calls that morning. They offered to send a mobile unit to my home the next day, which I agreed to. I left the car in the driveway, hoping they would get it right the second time. I returned from work to find that the mobile tech had tried to use silicone to hold the trim piece down, rather than replace the clip-style fastener which they had misplaced. I found this to be wholly unsatisfactory, and called to express my dissatisfaction with the "repair." They offered to send another tech, which I refused. I decided I had had enough. The owner was always friendly on the phone and tried to resolve the issues, but his techs do not produce quality work.

They came out promptly and made repairs in a timely manner. We had a hard time finding someone to fix jalousy windows. When I called, they weren't sure what they were so the sent someone out to take a look and the problem to see if they could make the repair, and they were.

GD came to my home on time and were very professional. I could not believe how quickly he did the replacement. It was awesome!

The guy was very nice, very fast and everything was done perfectly. Great experience.

They were very professional, friendly, and paid close attention to detail. Everything was always on time. They kept the work area clean and answered all the questions we had. They provide a top quality product and installation and offered the best price.

On 4/18, something hit and shattered the glass of stationary window of our sliding door. We taped up the glass, still for the most part intact, to keep the pieces of glass from going everywhere. We called the company that had originally installed the door about 12 years ago, but we were going to have to wait until May 4th before they'd be able to have someone come out and look at it, and that it would probably be at least $400. So we looked on Angie's list to find someone, and the one business I did call referred me to the Glass Doctor. Called them, described what had happened and what type of window/glass. They told us they'd be able to have someone come out on 4/23. That Friday morning Chad called and was actually ahead of schedule and ended up being early. Took measurements and gave us an estimate, which was lower than what we had been quoted, so we went with them. Gave them a down payment and told it would be about a week. They called the following Friday and scheduled to come out and install the new glass on 5/4. On that morning, Chad called to let us know he was on his way and arrived on time. He took out the glass, swept up pretty much all the bits of glass that had fallen out, and put in the new glass in about an hour.

The gentleman came out to give me a quote on replacing the glass in the attic window above the garage is broken. My appointment was for 9am and he came shortly after noon. He was very polite, but had a very strong smoke smell. Overall, I thought the price quoted was high and wasn't happy with the first impression.

They did great. One guy came out, put it in, sealed it, and completed the work. He cleaned up well

Their price was very reasonable (beat all of the other estimates I had). Having them come to my house was convenient, though they had to reschedule both times they came out, after I had already made arrangements to be home at the originally scheduled time. The first windshield they put in had a significant scratch on it. Once I brought this to their attention, they did agree to replace it. I was not totally pleased, but would consider hiring them again because of their competitive prices and the fact that they did correct their mistake and ultimately made things right.

They came to our house and replaced the windshield in the driveway. I called in the morning and they were able to come out that afternoon. They were on time and completed the work in about an hour. They cleaned the inside of the car to make sure there were no glass fragments.

Very nice, very professional. Tracked down Audi spec glass at no extra charge, installed at the house within two business days. Technician noted a cracked trim piece that had been missed by the insurance adjuster. Fast, convenient service.

My experience was good. Our tech was polite and re repaired the window quickly.

WORK WAS DONE IN MY GARAGE WHEN I WAS AT WORK. I COULD NOT TELL THAT THEY HAD WORKED ON THE CAR OTHER THAN THE CRACKED WINDSHIELD WAS GONE! HARMON SECURED A BMW SCRIPT WINDSHIELD JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD.

QUICK RESPONSE, NEXT DAY SERVICE, COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT WORKER. CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE TO DO THE WORK. NO COMPLAINTS.
