Gil's Lamp Repair

I dropped the floor lamp off at his house and was able to pick it up two days later. He had some good suggestions about replacing the old harp. The lamp was repaired and ready to go when I picked it up.

Dropped off 2 small lamps that kept shorting out. He fixed them in a few days for a very reasonable price.

I called Gil, after I saw his listing & explained what I was needing done. He gave me directions to his home, told me when he would be available ( he works 4 days per week), then called me the morning of our meeting to confirm an approximate time. When I arrived at his home, he looked a both lamps, told me what he could do, what he might not be able to do, and promised to call when the repairs were finished. I would use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone.

I called him and had to leave a message for him. He called me back the very same day. I dropped three lamps off for him to fix, and he had them fixed the same day. I'm very happy with his services.

I called Gil's Lamp Repair, left a message and my call was returned the same day. He was very professional and explained to me his operation, business hours and gave me alternatives on how to best utilize his service. I spoke with Gil on Monday night, dropped off the lamp as instructed on Tuesday morning. Early evening Tuesday (same day) I received a call that the lamp was ready for pick up and he described all of the services performed. I picked up the lamp, purchased a new shade at the store that was recommended and I have a new lamp that my wife will be ecstatic about this evening. We thought the lamp was beyond repair. Gil worked a miracle and we will be forever grateful. I highly recommend Gil's Lamp Service for any of your electrical repair needs. This was a fantastic experience.

I dropped the lamp off yesterday at his business and he called me this morning that the work was completed. It's as good as new.

He did a good job. The price was reasonable. I had a crown at the top of where the bulb went in that broke and the shade was bent. He fixed everything. I brought it to him and he left me a message that it was fixed on the same day.

Dropped off the chandelier on Saturday night, received a call Sunday morning that it was done. Replaced screws, the candle caps and rewired for $40.00. Great service at a great price.

I dropped off the lamp in the morning, got a call that evening telling me the lamp was fixed, and picked up the lamp the next morning. This was a great experience for me.

I contacted Gil and left a message. A few hours later he returned the call and explained that I could leave the lamp on his breezeway and that he would call me when the lamp was repaired. Because of all the great reviews that I read on Angie's List that explained this exact same process, I decided to do it. Sure enough, within 24 hours, I received a call from Gil saying the lamp was repaired and I could come by and pick it up anytime. When I went to pick it up, Gil met me at the door and proceeded to give me a very brief education about lamps. This man knows his lamps!!! He clearly loves what he does and enjoys the work. I would give business to him again in a heartbeat.

Great. I called & left a message that I needed lamp repair. Gil called back later that same day and gave me drop off instructions, etc. On the same day that I dropped off my lamp for repair, Gil called me back and told me what my lamp needed and how much it would cost. I gave him the go ahead to do the work. The day after that he told my lamp was ready to be picked up.

He was awesome; he quickly returned my call, then allowed me to drop off the lamps in his breezeway. He called me that night with a diagnosis and estimate with two options for the repairs. I picked the lamps up the next day! He's very pleasant and honest.

The repairs went well overall, without reservations.

I contacted Mr. Bunton on February 28th and arrange to leave my lamp the following day. That evening he called me saying the repairs were completed and we made arrangements to pick up the lamp the next evening. Mr. Bunton replaced the defective on/off switch, adjusted the light bulb socket so that the new style light bulbs would work and replaced the bottom felt. The lamp works and so my wife is happy. Everything went like clockwork.

Gil was terrific!! He returned my call within minutes and I took the lamps to his house. He called that evening and said they were ready - I couldn't believe it! I have them home now and they work and look great! I'd use him again and recommend him in heartbeat!

New puppy ate the lamp cord too completely to repair with electrician's tape (lamp's on a switch, which was off; puppy was uninjured). Took the lamp to Gil's one afternoon, Gil called to say it was ready the next morning. The price was reasonable. The lamp now works. I can't ask for anything more.

No snags. Mr. Bunton gave me the option of leaving the lamp in the breezeway while he was at work or dropping it off at a time when he'd be at home. The lamp had little monetary value, so I opted to drop it off when the time was convenient for me. He called within 24 hours to tell me what he'd done, how much it would be, and when I could pick it up. I am very happy with the work he did.

Very well- he responded to my voice mail promptly and had the light fixture rewired within 2 days. Easy to work with.

Gil did an excellent job and I would definitely bring other lamps to him.

He did a really good job on it. I took it over there in the morning. I figured it would be a couple of days. He called that afternoon to let me know it was ready. He did a really good job.

I talked to Gil one day, and he had the job done the next!! He was very kind and accomodating.

I dropped the lamp off with a note after talking to Gil earlier. He called me the next day to tell me what he found, made suggestions and asked me for my preferences. All in all, it was a three day process. I have used Gil's services before and I would never use anyone else for lamp repairs. He's prompt, reasonable and friendly which makes it a pleasure to use his services.

Overall, it went very well. The punctuality was incredible; it was the same day!

I was very pleased! When he repaired the base he had to hunt for an appropriate one and then paint spray it to match. It took 2 different sprays to get it right.
