Description of Work: I had five lamps that were quite old and I wanted to have the wiring checked in all of them. I knew one had a bad cord and another had a loose fixture. I got a call within a day or two of dropping them off that they were ready. One also got a new plug attached because the old one was wobbly.

Description of Work: My 31 year old kitchen ceiling lamp needed repair and rewiring. A beautiful wooden lantern style lamb with a bronze shade features two lights, one in the lantern and a down spotlight. The down spotlight had a bad socket which was also loose and would not allow the burned out lightbulb (which subsequently broke off) to be unscrewed. On New Year's Eve day, I found Gil on Angie's List and left a message. To my surprise, he returned my call that very day. We made arrangements for me to drop it off and it was quickly repaired. IHe rewired both lamps and replaced one socket. He was very easy to work with and my lamp works perfectly again I thought that his price was very fair. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone.
