GEORGE WARREN PAINTING

George painted seven rooms for us plus stairways and halls. He brought in his son, Cru, to handle some surface prep. When George works on a project, he approaches it as a conversation. He’ll take your ideas and refine them as he goes along. His sense of color coordination is splendid. He does more than he promises.

George Warren is an excellent choice for both interior and exterior house painting. My husband and I vetted several larger companies before deciding on this small, independent contractor and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. George is exceptionally good at color selection (he spent years as a quality control supervisor at a large paint manufacturing firm.) His pricing was very competitive and his painting skills are top-notch. George was meticulous in both his prep work and clean-up. Ours is a large 50-year-old suburban home which required the repair of numerous ceiling cracks and wall flaws before painting and George did a great job with every aspect of the assignment. Each and every interaction with George was a pleasant one and integrity is the reason he has a long list of repeat customers. In fact, we simply left a house key with George and went on a 10-day vacation while he completed the work. Upon our return, we couldn't stop smiling at the sight of our beautiful "new" house.

George helped us pick our paint color. He was very patient with the whole process and went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the color. He is also very good with colors and I recommend his imput. Don't let the fact he drives an old truck throw you, he knows what he's doing. Job went well, was priced right, and I recommend George for your painting needs.

George and his son Cru have painted the interior of our house at least twice. George is the Renaissance man. He picks out the colors and his choices are always perfect for the room. I trust him completely on color choices. Honestly, he has the best eye for color and his customer's taste. On one job, he didn't like the color he picked for the hallway - he repainted the whole hallway in a color he liked better and didn't charge me any extra! And he's fun to talk to! He's passed his talent on to his son Cru and we'll use them again and again!

George did the details that mattered and in a maticulous fashion. He has also done interior work for us as well. He is very personable and is good when a client gets worried and on the verge of getting upset when she thinks might things not be what she was expecting. My only wonderment was that after the job was done, he said he would return the next day to do touchup and did not .Perhaps he simply forgot.

George was referred to me by a friend, so I called him and asked him to stop by and give me an estimate on painting the trim on the house and garage and the whole lawn mower shed. He came by and said he recommended power washing everything first and then coming back and painting. He power washed the house our stone patio and some sidewalks. He came back the following week and did the painting. Great job. Pleasant, dependable man. Cleaned everything up to our satisfaction.

This is the second time we have used George for painting work, and it won't be the last. Right off the bat, he helped us pick cabinet colors that would work with our existing wall colors. He also happily provided us a copy of his certificate of insurance before starting on the project. His painting process removed the need to have the cabinets sanded or doors removed, and allowed us to have the interiors of the cabinets spray painted at no extra charge. That was a happy surprise. Everything proceeded on schedule, and George was very easy to work with. He was willing to paint the cabinets however we wanted, but was also willing to give us input based on his years of experience. At the end of the job, he was willing to give us whatever time we needed to make sure we were happy with the job before we paid him. He even took our dog on a walk (with our permission)! He also offered to come back once our new countertops were installed and touch up any paint that needed it. We felt very comfortable leaving him at our house alone, and so we did not even need to take time off of work to have the painting done. We will definitely call him for our next painting job.

George is the best. He helped me pick colors, bought the paint while it was on sale, pressure-washed the house exterior (and also my wood fences, for free), fixed some cracked and broken stucco, then painted the exterior stucco and wood trim with a combination spray-and-brush technique that's faster than brushing but works the paint in better than spraying or rolling alone. The paint he uses is a top-of-the-line and quot;lifetimeand quot; paint from Porter. After he finished the exterior he painted my dining room on one of his slack days for a very reasonable, even cheap, price. After the job was done he dropped by a couple of times to check on the finished job.

George did an outstanding job painting the exterior of the house. While the painting was flawless, what truly set George apart was his assistance in selecting the right color for the house and his attention to detail. With the paint color, he guided us from simply picking a color we liked to finding the right color to match the roof and brick areas of the house. Once we had a color selected, he applied it to a section of the house and gave us a few days to look at it in morning, daytime, and evening light. When we didn't love the first color as much as we thought, it was no problem - George helped us with another color, and again gave us time to evaluate it in all lighting conditions. He built time into the schedule for us to select the right color - there was never any pressure to and quot;just pick a colorand quot;. Once the right color was picked, George did a great job of prepping and then painting the house. George also made sure to be available while we would be at home - such as by working on the weekends - so that he would be available to answer any questions and to also get our feedback. George is a one-man show who does all the work himself - even on our house where the roof line extends 30 feet above the ground. He was also very fair and detail oriented - he never and quot;nickel and dimedand quot; when we found some areas that we hadn't explicitly discussed during the quoting; when he submitted his quote, is was for everything. Simply a great experience - perfect paint job, great price, no pressure. I highly recommend George for any painting project that you are considering.

George was thorough in explaining the project from start to finish. He even helped me pick out an exterior color to match as I had recently replaced siding with cement board and had a new garage door installed. The color he recommended matched great. House looks great, as well as, the driveway.

George came out for an estimate, came back a couple of times to caulk a leak outside of our house so that the wet area inside would be dry before painting, and came to paint. He is friendly and easy to work with. While painting we both agreed that the colors I chose for my office weren't quite right. I had expressed some surprise at the way they looked on the walls, but figured it was a done deal at that point and hopefully they would grow on me; it was only going to take him the one day to do all of the painting. George independently suggested that maybe different colors would go better in the room, and he then spent a while looking over colors with me and going to the paint store to pick out different colors. I'm much happier with the colors now! He ended up having to come back the next morning to finish the trim work because he basically painted my office twice because of the color changes, and yet he didn't charge me any more because the job was for me to be happy with the room. Great service! I will be using his services again in the future.

Extremely well. This was the third time we had used George, who has now painted pretty much every paintable surface inside and outside the house. As usual he was professional and very quick, and helped us narrow down about a dozen potential colors to the one we eventually went with - which turned out to be one he created by mixing a couple of the other colors together. We're very happy with the result. He not only does a great job on painting but also throws in good design advice. We wouldn't use anyone else for our painting jobs.

George and his son have painted for us before. They are terrific to work with. George is especially good at picking colors as I live in Florida and George picked the colors out for me. He was on target with his estimate and was the best of three bids. Professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. You won't go wrong with George.
