Description of Work: Home inspection on a 5100 sq. ft. home and 1200 sq. ft. detached garage on well, septic, and geothermal.

 + -1 moreGene was able to do the inspection in less than a week of my initial call. He then produced the report and emailed it to me, complete with colored pictures in 48 hours! Great, thorough report. More than I expected or have received in the past on other properties.
Description of Work: Gene was referred to me as someone who could do homes and barns. He came out to our prospective property which had an almost 100 year original home and a ten year-old addition. Also, there are metal and wood barns on the property.

 + -1 moreGene Lunsford scheduled the inspection for a convenient time. He took about 3 hours or more to walk us all through the home (inside and out) and to point out items we should notice. He also acquainted us with all of the home's features and functions. He submitted his report in a timely manner with great photos. After the inspection items were addressed by the seller, Gene also went "above and beyond" and came back to the house to personally help us with a repair item that needed additional attention. We would highly recommend Gene.

 + -1 moreGENE DID A VERY THOROUGH HOME INSPECTION FOR US. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING, AND WHAT HE FOUND DURING THE INSPECTION. HE GAVE US TIPS ON HOW TO IMPROVE THE VALUE OF THE HOUSE ONCE WE OWNED IT. HE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. WE CALLED HIM TO REQUEST A FOLLOW UP INSPECTION, WHICH WE NEEDED DONE WITHIN 24 HOURS, AND HE FIT US INTO HIS SCHEDULE. HE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING TO US AND MADE US FEEL SECURE IN OUR HOME PURCHASE.
Description of Work: HE PERFORMED A HOME INSPECTION ON A HOME WE WERE CONSIDERING FOR PURCHASE. AFTER THE SELLER MADE SEVERAL REPAIRS TO THE HOME, HE DID A FOLLOW UP INSPECTION FOR US TO VERIFY THAT THE REPAIRS WERE MADE APPROPRIATELY.

Description of Work: WE HIRED HIM TO INSPECT THE FOUNDATION OF A HOME WE'RE BUILDING. (NORMALLY WE'D HIRE HIS SON WHOM WE'VE USED BEFORE, BUT HE WAS BOOKED.) HE SHOWED UP MORE THAN AN HOUR LATE (BUT LET US KNOW HE WAS RUNNING LATE), AND THEN REFUSED TO TAKE PAYMENT. THE PRICE FOR SUCH AN INSPECTION WOULD HAVE BEEN $125 OTHERWISE.
