Garage Doors of Indianapolis

They gave us our estimate the next day. They were really nice and explained everything to us. They cleaned up after themselves and they just sent the bill in the mail, no prepaying.

I am happy with the work that was performed. Another company had told me I may want to replace both springs, but it would be expensive. The other company then informed me if I were going to replace the springs, I may want to replace the entire door, which would be even more expensive. Garage Doors of Indianapolis did not try to up-sell me anything. They did the repair I asked for, and checked the remaining parts to be sure they were in good working order. I would use them again if I had another garage door issue.

The technician came out and repaired the door the same day I called. He completed the repair quickly and courteously.

Nicholas was pleasant & prompt on the initial inspection & estimate process. The subsequent service equally as good. The techs worked quickly & did not inhibit our work flow pulling cars in & out of the shop. A minor adjustment required a return visit which was handled the same day. I would highly recommend this company.

The gentleman that came out was very responsive. Gave helpful hints. Told me things I could do. He leveled the door, added new pieces of rubber sealant and added 4 new rollers. Price was very reasonable.

Terrible -- We called with an emergency and their own call service tried to page the technician on call every ten minutes for over two hours. They are NOT open on Saturdays as advertised and we never received a call back. They must not want business.

The gentleman came out on Christmas Eve to provide the quote and was prompt. Price was higher than expected, but we plan to call soon to get the work scheduled.

Garage Doors of Indianapolis was very helpful in getting a service man to our home to check on a lock on our garage door. They agreed to warranty the part if needed, even though the warranty had recently expired. Reena in the office, and Ryan the service representative were both very helpful and professional.

The service performed was exactly as agreed in the estimate. I received a clear explanation of what I was purchasing, and had all my questions answered by Larry. There were no surprises on installation. The appointments for the estimate and the installation were kept on time, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The whole process was smoother than I expected.

Service Technician did not arrive until after 5:30. I was not promised a time, however I called early enough in the week that I thought my appointment would have been in the morning or early afternoon. Technician was supposed to call when 30 minutes out, however never received call. Garage door was tuned up as promised. When I called to make appointment, I asked how much for this type of service and was quoted $69.95. I mentioned I was an Angie's List member and asked if I would also get $10.00 off of price and was told yes. However, this was not the case. Technician stated $69.95 was discount price, and I could not apply the $10.00 off discount.

I THINK IT'S WONDERFUL THAT HE DID ALL OF THIS JUST TO SAVE ME MONEY. THEY WERE WILLING TO DO WHAT MOST OTHERS WERE NOT. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR ALL OF GARAGE DOOR NEEDS BASED UPON THIS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I FELT SO GOOD ABOUT IT. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

VERY TIMELY. STATED THEY WOULD BE THERE AT A CERTAIN TIME AND WAS PROMPT. IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN 1 HOUR.

I WAS ANXIOUS TO HAVE OUR GARAGE DOOR REPAIRED. IT CAME OFF THE TRACK AS I WAS LEAVING TO PICK UP MY DOG FROM THE VET. I HAD SEVERAL ERRANDS I NEEDED TO RUN, AND I WANTED TO GET THE DOOR REPAIRED ASAP. I WAS ESPECIALLY CONCERNED THAT THE WEIGHT OF THE HANGING DOOR WOULD CAUSE THE GARAGE DOOR MOTOR TO BE RIPPED FROM ITS CEILING MOUNT. GARAGE DOORS OF INDIANAPOLIS CAME IN LESS THAN THE 1 HOUR PROMISED. THE REPAIRMAN WAS ABLE TO PROMPTLY FIX THE PROBLEM. WE ALSO DISCUSSED WHEN WE COULD ANTICIPATE HAVING TO REPLACE THE HORIZONTAL TRACK ENTIRELY AND WHAT THE WARRANTY WOULD BE ON THE WORK THAT HE DID COMPLETE.

THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. I THOUGHT THEY CHARGED A LITTLE MUCH FOR OILING THE DOOR. TOOK ABOUT TEN MINUTES. CHARGED $122.00. SAID SINCE I HAD TWO DOORS IT WAS MORE. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. SHOWED UP ON TIME.

THEY GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND LEFT. NO PROBLEMS.

I FELT THEY ARRIVED QUICKLY, DID GOOD WORK, THERE WERE NO DISAPPOINTMENTS.

ON 9-8-05, MY WIFE RECEIVED AND ESTIMATE FROM MR. SWARTZ FOR A NON-INSULATED AND AN INSULATED DOOR. HE ADVISED THAT WE COULD GET A BAGGY SEAL FOR $40 MORE DOLLARS TO HELP DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT THE GARAGE FLOOR WAS VERY UNEVEN. ON 10-14-05, THE INSTALLER CAME OUT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT APPEARED THAT HE HAD NOT BEEN GIVEN THE INFORMATION HE NEEDED TO INSTALL THE DOOR PROPERLY. SO, HE SPENT SEVERAL HOURS SPINNING HIS WHEELS AS HE WATCHED THE GARAGE DOOR CABLES UNRAVEL SEVERAL TIMES. IN ADDITION, ONE OF THE FOUR GARAGE PANELS WAS BENT. AND HE WAS NOT TOLD THAT WE NEEDED A BAGGY SEAL, SO HE DID NOT HAVE ONE WITH HIM. THERE MAY BE SOME INTERNAL COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. HOWEVER, AFTER I EXPLAINED WHAT SOME OF THE ISSUES WERE WITH THE GARAGE AND THE FLOOR, HE SAID HE WOULD COME BACK ON SATURDAY AND BRING A REPLACEMENT PANEL, A BAGGY SEAL, AND FIND OUT THE BEST WAY TO INSTALL THE GARAGE DOOR. HE DID COME BACK ON 10-15-05 AND INSTALLED THE DOOR, WITH THE BAGGY SEAL AND DID A GREAT JOB.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND FAST AND ALL IS WORKING WELL.

I DIDN'T FEEL I WAS WELL TREATED. THEY WERE MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING THAN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS.

I CALLED THE COMPANY AND GOT AN APPOINTMENT THAT AFTERNOON! THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH WAS INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL. THE SERVICE TECHNICIANS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND PERFORMED THE WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THEY WERE ALSO HELPFUL IN PROVIDING TIPS ON WHAT WE COULD DO IN THE FUTURE TO MAINTAIN OUR GARAGE DOORS WORKING IN PROPER ORDER AND HOW OFTEN WE SHOULD HAVE THEM SERVICED.

THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS VERY NICE & ATTENTIVE. HOWEVER, NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED ME TO CANCEL THE APPT. I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH THEM A WEEK LATER TO SEE IF THEY WERE INTERESTED IN RESCHEDULING. THEY DIDN'T RETURN MY CALL.

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE JOB THEY DID. THEY WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ALSO LINED UP THE DOOR SO IT WOULD SHUT CORRECTLY AT THE BOTTOM.

THEY WERE FINE TO WORK WITH, PROMPT, COURTEOUS. THE PROBLEM THEY WERE FIXING RECURRED AFTER 6 MONTHS, WHEN THE WARRANTY OF THEIR WORK HAD EXPIRED. I PROBABLY WOULD TRY TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY FIRST.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! WE HAD ONE BROKEN SPRING ON OUR INSULATED GARAGE DOOR, BUT THE DOOR STILLED OPENED (WITH SOME DIFFICULTY). WHEN I CALLED TO SCHEDULE THE WORK, I HAD PLANNED TO HAVE THE WORK DONE AT THE END OF THE WEEK (TO COINCIDE WITH MY VACATION), BUT THE SERVICE TECH SUGGESTED THAT IT BE DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, OR WE RISKED HAVING THE GEARS STRIPPED OUT OF OUR OPENER. PER HIS SUGGESTION, WE WOULD NOT EVEN NEED TO BE HOME TO HAVE THE WORK DONE, WE COULD SIMPLY LEAVE OUR SERVICE DOOR UNLOCKED, AND THEY COULD PERFORM THE WORK. THE TECH CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND REPLACED BOTH SPRINGS, AND NOW THE DOOR IS WORKING GREAT! THEY EVEN LOCKED OUR SERVICE DOOR WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETE.
