Garage Doors of Indianapolis

No one ever came out. Their salesman also sold me upgrading to the belt drive system that would be quieter. During the winter I really didn't use the doors that much. Now in summer they seem to be as noisy as my original doors. I called to have them come out and do the touch paint and find out why these doors are so loud. I was told there is no record of the scratches and they would charge me a service charge to look at the their noisy doors. Not what I consider good service.

He helped me with my car buttons for the garage door. The technician was very cool. He did extra to help me out. A+ for everything!!!

Technician Rick was on-time, professional and very proficient. Within 10-15 minutes, he had the door back on the rollers and fully functioning. When I asked if I could use my coupon, he said no because there was no charge, so I asked why. He said to consider it a "door quote"; it's likely I'll be needing a new door later in the year. Rick explained about the different levels of quality in doors that are available. I was very happy with Rick's service, especially since it was on a Sunday.

Opener had to be replaced. He was able to do it and did a great job.

Broke on a Friday night...repaired on that same night...had 2 new garage doors, 2 new openers with remotes and keypads installed that next Tuesday (the day the other company wanted to come out to repair it).

Nick was professional and courteous. He phoned to say that he would arrive in about 30 minutes, was polite and knowledgeable, and worked quickly to repair the garage door. In addition to replacing the broken part, he inspected the door, lubricated the tracks, and made some adjustments. The door operates much more smoothly now! I will use Garage Doors of Indianapolis the next time we need a repair or for maintenance.

Repair was completed within 45 minutes, very professional, absolutely no complaints.

The service was great. The technician was great. The job was performed in less than an hour. The price was a shocker. I had no idea that a spring could be so expensive. I guess a torque tube for $275 plus instillation is the going rate?

Technician came and found the sensor had gone bad (showed it to me). After replacing it, the opener worked. I also had him do a service checkup. Found that the other door opener was going bad. Replaced it too and did a checkup. Now doors sound so much better -- must have lubricated rails, etc.

We are very pleased with the CHI doors. They look nice and operate smoothly and quietly.

I submitted a request online and they contacted me first thing in the morning, came out that afternoon right when they said they would, fixed the problem (broken spring) on site and gave some suggestions on ways to extend the life of the parts that we can do ourselves.

I give them A's across the board.

I knew what was going on the whole time. They called to say when the would arrive. Kept me informed, nothing hidden about it. They were fine. The work turned out fine. I would say that they are a fine resource to go to for a garage door. The price is competitive.

They were easy to work with. Quick installation and friendly onsite customer service.

Overall, it went well. I thought that the tech was knowledgeable, punctual and professional. He did a good job with the work. However, the person who took my initial scheduling call did not seem as professional on the phone. Also, I rated the price a "D" because the tech was at our house for all of 30 minutes (or maybe less) and the charge was $400. Unfortunately, in this case I did not have time to shop around but I'm sure I could have found a cheaper alternative. I recognize that there are parts, labor and a service call in those charges but I found the overall price excessive. I'm not saying I won't use this company again, but next time I will shop around a little more.

Our garage door broke unexpectedly late Friday evening and I needed to get someone out quickly. Rick was able to come out about 3 hours later and while the door was not repairable he got it into a state so that it was temporarily usable. We determined that we needed a new garage door, he went over our options and we scheduled the installation for the following Thursday. The installer showed up on time and did a magnificent job. The door operates smoothly and quietly and was fitted better than the original door. He took the time to readjust the garage door opener to the new door. I could not be happier.

They are really good. It was on the weekend. It is one of those emergencies that-you-have-to-get-it-done prices. They are always very good.
