Garage Doors of Indianapolis

They were very polite and prompt when coming out for estimate. Called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way out, so I didn't have to leave work before I needed to. Ended up not using this company since their estimate was more than the company I did end up using. When asking the other company about the difference, he told me that I was never given a choice of type of doors to install, and with a garage that is not insulated to begin with, no reason to install most expensive insulated door. I felt I wasn't shown all options up front with this company.

The came out on a Sunday morning and did this work. We called them and they were there, within the hour. We were so grateful, because both our cars were stuck in the garage and we couldn't get them out! I would highly recommend!

They did a good job and we haven't had a problem with it yet. He was on time in the time frame they provided.

Overall, we are pleased with the door and how smooth the installation process went. I was not real pleased with the fact that I had to follow up with the sales person to see when the door would be installed. I was told that the door would need to be ordered and that it would take four to five weeks, once I made the initial 50% down payment. I never heard back on the status of the door. After five weeks, I called to see how much longer, and the sales rep. told me it was in, and they could install it the next day. I expected better follow-up and status updates on such a large purchase. However, the door looks good, and we are glad we chose this company to do this project. I only hope this feedback will help them improve their communication in the future.

Serviceman called and was able to arrive one hour earlier than expected (what a nice surprise!) and completed work quickly even though he had to make adjustments due to interior framing of garage. He also replaced a squeaky wheel on the track and tightened the other door's opener chain at no extra charge. Courteous, friendly service by the representative named Jim.

Very good, quick response, works perfectly now.

Everything was fine. They were on time; finished within an hour and a half or so.

They've come out numerous times to repair it, but it still leaks. They refuse to replace it, and now they won't call me on my cell to actually get a hold of me, they just leave messages for me at home .

I cancelled the work, and was told by the service manager that due to the "same day service" they had others to do and sorry for the scheduling problem. I to own a business and told them do not schedule maintenance work if you cannot handle your other service work. I will go with a smaller company.

Excellent. We had a very good experience with Garage Doors of Indianapolis. We had 2 companies give us estimates and GDI was about half of what the other company wanted. Did not try to sell us a new system, just fixed the old one.

Initially, I thought the technician was very unpersonable, but I found him to be very capable. He replace springs, lubricated, replaced the remotes, and showed us how to set the keypad. Although the service was expensive, we now have a refurbished system that works well. A few weeks later the keypad was not working and he returned and checked it for no charge.

My experience with this company was very frustrating. The cable for my garage door broke, preventing me from getting my car out. I called Garage Doors of Indianapolis. The receptionist was very polite, and suggested that it would save overtime costs, if she could schedule me for the next morning between 8:00 and 9:00 A.M. Since I did have an appointment for 11:30 A.M. that day. When I recieved no calls by 10:30, I called back and was told that they would locate the repair man and call me back. They again did not return my call. At 11:00, I called once more and was told that two servicemen called in sick and they would not be able to get to me until later in the afternoon. Had they notified me of this situation early that morning, I could have contacted another company and had the work done in time. I was very disappointed in this company.

They did a nice job. It took them a little longer than they initially stated, but they did good work and cleaned-up well.

The salesman at their showroom showed us exactly what we wanted after we explained our needs. He was right on time when came out to measure and "survey" the job. Installation took place 11 business days after the "survey" because the color we wanted was not kept in stock. The installer was on time, personable, & did a wonderful job.

The technician was competent and friendly - answering all my questions. He completed all the work quickly and explained why it was happening. I forgot to ask for the Angie's List discount when the tech was there, so I called the next day and they took the $10 off without any questions asked.

POSITIVES: This company is very easy to work with. Everyone at Gutter Flo is very friendly, helpful, and patient. They brought color samples of our choosing, but the many white tones made it difficult to make the best choice. As a policy they don't choose for customers. They waited for us to be ready (were doing others projects) and when the installer came, he advised a better choice for our gutters. We rescheduled. Gutter Flo was not unhappy with the delays or the change of gutter color. We had an issue with the configuration of two downspouts. The Gutter Topper crew verified the issue. It was corrected. NEGATIVES: 1. We have a shake roof. The installer had to remove the first row metal shield to put on the toppers. It leaks behind the gutters. We now need a drip edge at additional cost. 2. Several crew members worked shirtless, yelled back and forth between workers, and used profanity. 3. We found quite a few sharp metal pieces after cleanup.

The serviceman was ontime and polite. When the repairs were complete, he showed me what was done and also told me what was done. I would recommend this company, and would use them again when needed.

Called and arrived when promised. The installer was polite and pleasant to deal with and the work was performed quickly.

Due to the Good Friday hail storm, a new roof had to be installed in which the gutter topper that was existing had to be removed. The crew from Gutter Flo removed the existing gutters and install the new gutters. They were very professional, friendly and did a great job. They had told us that the crew to install the gutter topper would be three days behind to install the Gutter Topper. After a week, three phone calls and leaving messages, which were not returned, we finally connected with someone. We explained that no one contacted us after the messages that were left and the individual that finally was contacted said that they would look into the lack of contact. The crew that installed the Gutter Topper did an excellent job. The only down side to the experience was the lack of follow up/returning calls placed to find out when the total job would be completed.

It was very good. They kept the appointment. They sent a sharp man, who knows what he is doing. He set it up and it is working very satisfactorily. He cleaned up nice and the price was reasonable and we got to use the Angies' List discount.

Larry Adams was on time for his presentation of the estimate. He was experiences and knowledgeable. The installer was here on time, worked efficiently, was cordial and answered all the questions I had. He thoroughly clean the area, removed all debris and insured we were happy with the job they had done. The overall experience was very pleasing.

He came on time, and when the repairman saw the problem, he was able to extend the existing rubber seal and refused to charge ANYTHING for the trip, not even the travel charge. Remarkable! I'll definitely use them again.

Both days the men were right on time and completed the job in a very timely and efficient fashion. Both men were very polite and professional. I was amazed that one guy could replace a 2-car garage door in two hours!

They service was excellent. That was good advise they were nine or ten years old. He said he would probably be back in a few weeks to replace the other.

There was a lot of time spent in consultation during the estimate and over the phone. I chose not to do the work based on advice from a structural engineer. I will do a garage door with them after my roofing project is finished.
