Garage Doors of Indianapolis

The sales person was prompt and courteous. We were unable to schedule the installation until 10 days after the sale. Luckily our cars were not in the garage. We got the last appointment of the day: A 2-4pm window for arrival. The installer arrived at 3:55. He left at 7:45 with the job unfinished. He was not prepared to do the trim as detailed on the order. We scheduled a second appointment for 7 days later. In the interim the door was rubbing on the wood of the garage, marring the new surface, and creating a difficulty in opening the door. On returning the installer said the rubbing was due to the way he hung the door close to the frame because he had not installed the trim on the first visit. The installer's second visit was scheduled for him to arrive between 9 and 9:30am. He arrived at 9:45 and completed the job at 11am. Waiting for 6 hours for the first install and 2 hours for the second install, with a 16 day span from sale to completion, was not what I call same day service.

Mike spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me so we could determine if in fact the model we have is one that can still be repaired. When we determined that it couldn't, he made several good suggestions to help us avoid having to completely replace the opener, which otherwise is just fine.

They were helpful, punctual, and professional.

We were leaving for a trip and door would not close. They came that day and fixed the switch that failed.

Offered same day service, amazing! Schedule did not work for me, so the repair man came the next day. Repair man was highly efficient and strictly business. Repaired the door spring and was gone within 15 minutes. Door has worked great ever since, even better than before.

They call the morning of to tell you what time they are coming. The installer was punctual and did a good job. One section of the door had a small dent. He pointed it out and said someone would call to set up a time to replace it. They called the next day and left a message. They called again when I hadn't returned their call after about 5 days. Overall everything went well.

Found broken spring late Saturday afternoon. Called company right away but found out it would have been "overtime" for them to come out that late in the day. Said Monday was fine. Monday, Representative called to say they would be out between noon and 3 and would call 30 min before. That is exactly what happened. Called about 12:45 and was here about 1:15. Repair tech went right to work and quickly fixed all that needed to be done. He was clean, personable, and did a great job. Was even impressed with how he left. Talked for a minute then quickly excused himself so he could get to his next job. Obviously wanted to get his work done which I am sure the next person appreciated.

Very good. This was a short notice Saturday morning repair. They were easy to contact and schedule. The work was completed at a convenient time for us the same day.

The salesman was very informative, pleasant and punctual.

Was advised by the technician that the springs used for our wooden door were commercial and that they would have to have the commercial division quote the job. Received a call back with a quote of $664.00. This quote ended up being approximately $400 higher than from the company that we ultimately chose to complete the job.

The serviceman was here less than 10 minutes and took care of the problem. When he handed me the bill, I mentioned I had a $10.00 off coupon from the Yellow Pages. He replied that he had already taken that off. Nowhere on the bill did it indicate that he had deducted $10.00. I feel this is deceptive and I will not call them again although, I have called them at least twice before in the last two years.

The service man did a great job. He was able to come out the same day and got the door fixed quickly.

Excellent experience. We called the same morning that the work was done. The company was extremely flexible with our inflexible work schedule and followed up several times by phone prior to the repairman's arrival to verify our availability. The gentleman that did the work was very professional and thorough.

Very prompt, they installed rapidly - didn't take them all day. They are very neat, didn't leave a mess. Very polite and professional. We were very pleased. Our motor on our automatic door was very old and we had them replace that as well a few months later.

Never returned call, had work for them.

They did the work all right but it was a problem getting them out. I called them in the afternoon & they said they would be there the next day & originally they gave me a AM time & then later it changed to PM. I was told then, they would be here anywhere from 1:00-4:00 PM. I called them back later to see exactly when they were coming but the person I spoke with said they didn't know when they'd be here-only that they were coming. They just weren't very nice about telling me when they would arrive. They didn't make it out to around 4:30 PM but, I suppose I would use them again, if they were pleasant when I called.

Installer arrived within a half hour of the scheduled time, was fast and efficient and obviously knew what he was doing. He did a great job and removed all of the old door, parts and packaging materials. The door looks great and works smoothly.

I called them on a Monday & within a couple of hours, they called back the same day & gave me a window from 1:00 PM -3:00 PM that they could come out, which I thought was good. He was a very polite young man & the fee was good. It was a special for $69.95 that I didn't have to be an Angie's List member to receive it & I didn't get more off because I belonged to Angie's List.

The initial phone call was informative and they responded quickly. The job only took 25 minutes and the staff was professional.

He came back out for free to repair after a malfunction. I felt he went above and beyond.

Customer service was very professional and helpful explaining the various options. Installation was when they said it would be and the installers did an excellent job.

They were prompt and professional from my initial phone call to the actual service, which was done the same day. The only thing I might question was the bill, but I didn't get estimates from any other companies so I really have no comparison. They did give me a $10 Angie's List discount, however.
