Garage Doors of Indianapolis

I called the morning after my attached garage door fell down, so my garage was open all night. A very nice gentleman came out the same day to give me an estimate. The estimate was higher than I expected, but the clincher was that no door could be installed for 5 -7 days because the company "only works in my area on certain days." While I understand the business model, when an attached garage door is missing entirely during freezing weather, it seems that accommodations ought to be made to handle these sorts of situations. The nice gentleman called the office again in an attempt to get someone to understand that I was not going to wait a week for a garage door to no avail. I went with another company who was able to install a nice new door the next morning (for less). ($1,250)

The work was done a few years ago and overall I had a good experience.

They came the same day I called for an annual maintenance check and were extremely professional and polite. They were extremely helpful to my husband when he was installing a keypad and we wouldn't hesitate to use this company for all our garage door needs.

The sales man was fantastic and he went out of his way for me.

The price was higher because the repairs were both done on the weekend.

They did a good job, I was very pleased with them & their prices were pretty competitive. I would use them again & I am thinking of using them again soon.

Excellent. All work was performed as outlined. The installer was very clean and efficient, and extremely personable. My only disappointment was with the first appointment. I had called and arranged what I thought was the door replacement, but it was actually an appointment to meet with the sales representative. I was hoping for a faster install - but no harm in the process - I just wished I understood what the appointment was for.

The salesman was very prompt and agreed to not only match but he beat a local competitor by $50.00. I will admit however, that we did have to negotiate on the price. Still, I saved over $200.00 just by shopping the competition first. FYI during the winter is a good time to buy a garage door. :-) The installer came out on one of the coldest days of the year. He was very professional and arrived 15 minutes early. He worked very fast (He had to just to keep warm) and finished the job in less than 2hrs. I was very impressed.

Our garage door jammed and came off its tracks on a cold night in January. Because the door and tracks appeared damaged, I thought we would need an entirely new door. I called them for an estimate, and they met me at exactly the time I had asked. The salesperson told me that I in fact had a quality door that I shouldn't replace unless I wanted to change it for aesthetic reasons. He said they could take out the bow in the tracks. He advised that he just rehang the door and replace the 40 year old automatic opener. He rehung the door on the spot (about 30 minutes), and someone got out the next day to install the opener. A week later the door started to stick -- apparently because the tension wasn't quite right. I called, and they came out that morning and fixed the problem at no charge. They could have sold me a lot more, and I really appreciate their honesty in diagnosing my problem. Their price was good and they were incredibly fast. Thanks!

Work was done promptly. They had to make a second trip due to custom size of spring but this was done in a timely manner and we were kept informed of their progress.

We had already spent money with them and their response after the board went out was no real follow up. We?ve used them three different times I would think a little better effort could have been taken. We?ve decided to live with it instead of buy a whole new unit. I understand that parts get old and need to be replaced, I was just disappointed in the way it was handled. Whoever fixed the initial problem was great, however whoever came out after that not as great.

This company runs like a Swiss watch. On time, quick response time, professional, accurate repairs. Everything you'd hope for and expect. Leaves a sticker on the back of the door so you know when was the last time you had to replace the spring (and their phone number for the next time!) All repair persons have held to this quality of service, with other companies it depends on the individual who comes out. Have used them numerous times over the years. (I use my garage door as my front door). They even told me how long it was likely to be before it would need to be replaced given my usage levels, and to hang on to my high quality, vintage garage door opener which works great because they are made more cheaply now.

Great experience. Patrick replaced the cables quickly, noted a cracked hinge and replaced it also on the same trip saving me a future repair call later. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and explained thoroughly what was needed and did everything as explained. Would definitely use them again. It was a Saturday and there was no additional charge as that is part of their regular work week and was the only company I could find that was open for regular business on that day. Called in the morning and they arrived within 3 hours. Great!

Though I had chosen 1 pm as an appointment time online, I was given a three hour time window for service from 2 to 5 pm during which no one showed up. I called five minutes after the end of the window and the friendly man on the telephone said the technician had hurt himself and would I like to reschedule. I did not as it is rude for a service provider not to at least call and say they can't make it. Why give a window if no one chooses to follow it?

They were on time, did a good job and I would use them again.

The worker came out the day I made the phone call. He assessed the existing garage door, and determined it was broken, and too old to be fixed, so we decided to replace the garage door. The garage door was replaced the following day. The worker gave me a choice of what kind of door I would like and gave me the price range. It was a very easy transaction.

Technician showed within the time frame that was given. Old door was removed and new installed within 2 hours. One of the panels had a dent and arrangements were made to have panel replaced.

Excellent. Called around 8am and person arrived around 9:30am taking just over 30 minutes to repair door.

They are a same day service company, so scheduling a tight time window is more difficult than it is for some other service companies. They called when they came to install the weather strip as they were running late. This was a little after 6pm on a Friday. I told them it could wait, as our situation wasn t time-critical. They left it entirely up to me. This was appreciated, as it would have cost them overtime pay for the tech. (I told them to come back out the following week.) Jeff the service tech seemed to be very efficient, and the job looked good after completion.

Great, on time, they even came out on the day of close to repair a problem that was not even theirs.

They came out to check the door the day after we called and came back the next morning with the needed part. We couldn't be more pleased!
