Garage Doors of Indianapolis

I contacted three contractors to get estimates. Garage doors of Indianapolis had the best price and quickest response. The technician arrived on time and completed the work promptly.

Overall went well. Should have asked to look at opener before accepting special for $999.

Went well although they were a week later than they planned due to window delivery. Quality was great and professionalism was good. Cleaned up after themselves and installers did a fast and first rate job. Did all the bits of painting that they should have. Forgot to finish one window, but agreed to return and fix it immediately. Highly recommended. Patrick Hill is a great asset to them.

They have come out several times to help with garage door and opener. They are always very nice and helpful. They have given me tips over the phone to see if I can fix the problem. They go above and beyond.

Lightning destroyed our old opener and Garage Doors of Indianapolis came out the same day we called them to determine that it couldn't be repaired because it was so old that parts were not available. They installed a new one the next day.

I made one call to schedule a service call and I asked if it was under warranty. They called back and said that it was under warranty and that they would replace it at no cost. They made the service call on time and at no cost! I have used them for the last 9 years or so on garage door repair/replacements and have always had great service. What a treat in these tough times to be treated more than fairly! What a fantastic experience! Recommend them to anyone.

I visited their showroom on a Tuesday. They came out the next day to measure and then installed the door on Friday. Nathan, the installer, was very nice and professional and did an excellent job. It only took 1.5 hours. When he was done, he reviewed the door with me and explained the warranty. I'm very happy with the work and would recommend this company.

We had used their services before and had good results so we called again. They did a great job, were on time and left everything clean when they were done.

Late on a Saturday, I requested a service call for the next Monday. They were always friendly on the phone, worked with my chaotic schedule, and had the garage door's broken spring fixed in no time. The repairman was super-fast, professional and friendly.

We had a garage door problem and they adjusted the tension on the door so it would close properly. The representative was especially courteous and respectful.

Returned call promptly. Set up next day appointment. Work was completed later that week as promised.

Overall they were very polite and nice and they came on time the first time but after that they never showed up and they left the work incomplete for us to find someone else.

I think they are great. They service all of our properties. They come to service the doors usually on the same day that we call them. I think they are very reasonable in their prices.

Arrived within 3 hours of initial phone call. Repaired cable and lubricated door hardware in 10 minutes. I felt $79.50 was a bit high for 10 minutes of work, but they did repair the problem and offered advice on preventing it from happening again. I will use them again.

Everything they did made it a very pleasant experience. The guy came when he said he would to make an estimate. The installer called me the morning he was to come in and even came an hour early. He was very courteous and cleaned up and did an overall good job.

The experience went very well. I called and someone came out the next day, so they were very timely. The serviceman man figured out the problem and within 45 minutes, he had everything repaired. He did have the right parts with him.

I called Monday to schedule a time for someone to come out the next day. I already knew I had a broken spring. When I made the appointment, I was told someone would be out between 8am and noon. I took time off from work to be home in the morning to be there. Around 10:00 the next day, I received a call and was told someone would be there between noon and three. I explained that I was told that someone would be out between 8 am and noon when I made the appointment. He said that the girl was wrong to tell me that and that someone would be there between noon and three. I explained that I had to re-arrange my work schedule and take time off to be home that morning and they were unwilling to fulfill the scheduled time of 8am - noon. I had to leave the back door of my garage unlocked for the technician to get in while I went back to work. The technician finally arrived at my house around 3:45 and Garage Doors called me to inform me that I had a broken spring (which I already knew since I called them to come out and fix it). They then tried to upsell me to see if I wanted to replace the other spring which was not broken. The work was done but the professionalism, promptness and customer service of this company is not very good.

We elected to try to install the unit ourselves. We went to Garage Doors of Indianapolis and found the most helpful, friendly person at their parts counter. He went over the process in detail and we experienced no difficulty in installing the unit ourselves. I should tell you that we had previously gone to a "big box" company and purchased a unit that we had to return because we could not get it to work properly. It was because of our prior experience that we thought we would need someone to install it for us. Because the gentleman at Garage Doors of Indianapolis was so helpful we did it ourselves and saved $80.00. If we ever have any work to do on our garage door system we will be sure to call them.
