They were very professional and honest. They took the old door away, put in the new door and put in teflon rollers. They told me about all of my options and cleaned up well after themselves.

I received my call from the office informing my of the estimated arrival of the technicians. They arrived on time, and went straight to work, quickly and efficiently. They took apart the broken controller panel and determined it did indeed need to be replaced, which I expected. They then carefully inspected both garage doors and all vital parts. They adjusted the tension on one door which had been quite noisy when used. They lubricated all hinges, cables/chains, springs, and wheels. They also opened both motor units and inspected the inside of each to ensure that both were in good shape and would continue to operate properly. They checked the alignment of both doors, and verified that both were opening and closing properly, before handing my the invoice and leaving. I was very pleased with their work and will have them work on my doors again in the future.

I called Garage Doors of Indianapolis several days ago to inquire about the coupon for a maintence tuneup. I learned the company gives same-day service so I needed to call back to schedule on a more convenient day. When I made the second call today about 10 a.m. I received the same excellent customer service. Both times I called the person I talked with was helpful in a pleasant and professional tone. I was told I'd receive a call back to let me know within what timeframe to expect the service tech. The call back came before 11 a.m. I was told to expect the technician between between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and that he would call about 15 minutes before arrival. The technician called shortly thereafter and was working on my garage door shortly after 11 a.m. Fortunately, all my old garage door needed was a tuneup. Matt was quick, thorough and answered all my questions. He had the same courteous and professional customer service traits I experienced earlier when talking with his office. Based on my experience I would hire this company again.

Called this morning for a Tune Up on my garage door and they came out today to complete the service. The office called ahead alerting me to their arrival. Service guy did a fine job and went over everything that he had serviced. Very Satisfied.

Salesman was punctual - offered good information about options, including which doors in stock. Also alerted us to possibility original doors might have lead paint, requiring abatement, which proved to be correct. Because we selected doors that were in the warehouse, installation occurred less than a week later. Installer arrived as scheduled on a VERY HOT day. Worked diligently and completed the work that same day. Disposed of old doors and related items as requested. Assisted with getting keypad coded and electric openers working as desired. Overall, a painless experience - this was the second time we've used this company to replace garage doors [used also at previous home].

The person from Garage Doors called early in the day with a window of time. He called back later to say he was delayed - but showed up at the time he specified. He was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He checked everything to make sure the doors were working smoothly and gave me suggestions about the rubber pieces at the bottom of both doors. He cleaned up everything before he left. It was a pleasure having him here.

Today our garage door springs broke. We called Garage Doors this evening at 6:55 hoping that they may be able to fix the door tonight or early tomorrow. They came within an hour and were able to fix the door quickly without any problem. We appreciate their extremely quick service. Thanks Nick for your help tonight.

The experience with the installation was fine. The problem was the customer service and billing. We payed by credit card and gave information to the installer. We got a message on Friday that our card had been declined. The company had tried to put down wrong expiration dates on card multiple times which made credit card company shut our account down. The Garage Doors of Indianapolis Inc said that this was just their policy so that clients will call them back. They do don't just callthe clients to ask for the correct expiration date.

They told me it was an electrical problem. I was impressed by the same day service and they did not charge.

I used them because they had the best price.

They were very nice on the phone, on time, efficient, professional and knew what they were doing.

They did quality work and they were able to match the color of the gutters with my siding.

I discovered the broken spring at approx. 11:00 in the morning. I called Garage Doors of Indianapolis and was given an estimate to replace both springs @ $250.00. I agreed to the estimate and was told their dispatcher would call back shortly with a time frame for repairs. Very soon I was contacted and told a technician would call between 1:00 and 3:00 that afternoon. At five minutes past 3:00, I received a call from Tom who said he would be there soon. Within 10 minutes, "Big Tom" arrived. He replaced both springs and had the door operating properly within 45 minutes. He was very courteous and professional and did a great job! The price was $249.00, which was what I was quoted, and the work was done in one day, which was the best part of all. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door repairs. The work was done correctly, at the quoted price and within the time frame as promised.I don"t think you could ask for much better service..

I called to set up an appointment for a tuneup as a result of flyer that I had received. The process went smoothly from start to finish--setting the appointment, arriving on time, professional service and reasonable price. A suggestion was made to replace rollers to reduce some of the noise, and we went forward with that additional service. We were very pleased with the experience and would definitely use their company again if needed.

They installed the door. I would highly recommend him. I will use them again in the future.

I went to the Garage Doors of Indy Showroom after seeing their excellent rating on Angie's List and was very excited to be able to go into an actual showroom and speak to someone about Marvin Windows especially on a Saturday when most window companies do appointment only. We waited for 10 minutes while 2 different men ignored us and never made contact. Finally a third gentleman from the service center came out and gave us some vague information (he was not in sales) and said we really just needed to call and make an appointment for more information for someone to come to my house. He was very nice and apologetic that he couldn't help but made no excuses as to WHY no one was there when the sales floor was open for the day. Very disappointed and feeling like I had wasted my time I left but called back to schedule an appointment for an in-home consultation. I advised the woman I would like someone to come out and speak to me about Marvin Windows. The woman on the phone was reluctant to schedule after 5pm on a weekday. I had to leave work an hour early to get to my 5pm appointment with Chris. At least he was punctual. When Chris arrived he quickly took measurements of all the windows I was interested in replacing but he had no sales pitch. My mom and sister also came to listen, leaving their work early as well because all THREE households are READY to purchase windows. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of him. We asked all the questions, most of which he couldn't answer. He didn't provide any basic information up front. He told me to "go to the website" for all the technical stuff and he kept referring to the sales booklet he brought with him for answers which had no answers in it. When I told him I had tried to do research on the website but wanted/ needed someone to still tell me why each different level offered was better for my house or how these windows compared to other companies he had no response. He said he usually only sells garage doors and is just starting to get into windows. Why didn't they send someone who knows about windows like I had asked?! He had us going inside and outside so he could point at things on the window to try to answer our questions. This is where a sample window would have been helpful, as it was 95 degrees outside. When I asked what he needed to at least provide me with a quote he said nothing and that he ASSUMED I just wanted a "MIDDLE" option on things. I told him I didn't know and could he give me my options and what the differences were so I could make a decision and he said he couldn't until he got back to his office to put it all in the CAD program. He also advised he wouldn't be able to get me a quote until MONDAY. He only spent about 30 minutes at my house. A competing company spent 3 HOURS at my house on a weekday, for which I didn't have to leave work early, showing me different options and brought the showroom to me, and left me with a quote and financing options. Chris came with a clipboard and a measuring tape and no knowledge. Twice my encounters with this company have left me disappointed and insulted. I felt they were not interested in selling me anything and really didn't even want my business. I have heard excellent things about Marvin Windows and as a licensed retailer and installer for Marvin I expected to receive the same quality out of the sales and service team of Garage Doors. The treated us as if we were silly little woman who were more concerned about the color of the window than the benefits. I live in a very old home in Meridian-Kessler that I am entirely updating on my own. Chris didn't seem to understand the quality of the neighborhood or the need to maintain the integrity of the "old house" as he called it. This company has done a great disservice to themselves. I need a full house of new windows, doors, garage doors, siding... all things Garage Doors of Indy could have handled for me if they had impressed me along with two other households. I stood there with this man in my house wondering who everyone else on Angie's List had dealt with because this was not what the reviews had me expecting. Thank you for wasting my time, money, and lost wages as well as my families. I will also be reporting this to Marvin Windows Corporate office so they can hear about the kind of team they have representing their company. I hope something good will come of it because I STILL do not know why I should choose Marvin Windows or this company.

One of the big coil springs broke on one of the doors. I knew Garage Doors as a manufacturer, before they came out for the repair. So far, I have just had them do a couple of things. I also had a problem with the opener. I called, and the guy told me what part I needed, and how to put it in. I picked up the part, did the installation, and saved myself a $75 service call! I have not compared their pricing, and I will keep using their services.

Billy was really nice and did a great job with the installation. He explained how it operated and did some extra bracing on the unit to ensure functionality. He was very neat and tidy.

He came right on time. He looked it over and we talked about it. He did what he needed to do.

I called this company when I saw the coupon for $40.00 off a tune up figuring that was what I needed. THEY MADE ME PAY FULL PRICE because the $59 didn't include "service" (this website says there will be NO ADDITIONAL service charges!). The work was completed well and I tried to speak with the manager as well but he just gave me the run around. If you are reading this, please don't rely on the coupon. Also, if you manage this company information on Angie's list, please correct the errors and take your coupon down! It is misleading!

They did a good job. I would use them in the future if needed. The price was excellent.

I contacted Garage Doors of Indianapolis to come out and take a look at our garage door that was stuck open. A few hours later my husband was able to fix it so I no longer needed their services. They were very responsive and were able to get to me the same day they received my email. I was very impressed! I would use them in the future.

They were very prompt and offered reasonable alternatives. The technician did not do all that the phone operator said they would do. They were here to repair a broken spring and do a tune up, but it seems they did not do the time up.

The wooden garage door was cracking, and the opener was working only half of the time. The remotes to the opener died several months ago, and changing the batteries did not work. I received several good recommendations for Garage Doors of Indianapolis so I visited their Greenwood location on a Saturday afternoon. I worked with a saleswoman named Debbie who was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of the products. The tech person who came out to do the measurements was also very professional and courteous. The door arrived in just under 3 full weeks. Installation was scheduled for April 20th. Someone from the company called me the day before to make sure we were still on schedule for the install, and that person called me before 8:00 a.m. on the morning of to tell me the window of time when I would hear from the installer. The installed called promptly during their time slot and arrived at my house as expected. The installation was handled in a professional and efficient manner. The installer made sure that all of my questions were answered, treated me very respectfully and worked very quickly. Door and opener were completely installed and functioning in a short amount of time. Installer cleaned up the area and left nothing behind. I am extremely pleased with the purchase, installation and finished product.
