Service was very good. All necessary parts were oiled and greased and the operation was tested.

Saturday 6/29/13 -Fixed the spring on the garage door, but after working with the door opener he determined that the opener needed to be replaced. I question that now. Said if it rained, he would be back on Sunday 6/30/13 afternoon to install the opener. He would let me know. He did not call on Sunday. 7/1/13-Monday morning he called and said he could come that morning. I had to work, but my son was home. When I reviewed the work, the garage door tech had plugged the opener in using an extension cord that laid in the middle of the garage floor. Could not pull cars in garage. The plug in the ceiling was different and he said that we could get an adapter in order to plug the opener in. Also, there was a gap between the garage door and wall. Could see daylight. garage door tech said "so we must have bent the door when we installed the opener" Did not fix it. Next, the garage ceiling lights did not work after he installed the new opener. He was not sure why. Next, he only left one door opener remote. He said we could buy another one from him for $30. Called company to file a complaint. The lady at Garage Doors of Indpls said they would send a tech out on 7/2/13 to look at my issues. Lady did confirm that I should have received two remotes and not one. Sounds like they wanted extra income. 7/2/13 Tuesday- tech came out, nothing they could do about extension cord. Said I could and purchase and adapter to plug in the opener. Nothing they could do not ceiling lights. Said I could get another adapter and rewire the ceiling lights. They did fix the gap and gave me another remote. I went to two electrical stores and explained about the two adapters I needed. At both stores, the adapters I needed do not exist. I now have to call in an electrician to rewire my opener and ceiling lights.

Got an appointment the day after I called. He was here on time and did a thorough check of the system and gave me some helpful tips. They met the coupon price from another provider.

One of the springs on the garage door broke. My husband called Garage Doors of Indianapolis in the late afternoon. They said they could have a tech out between 8-11 p.m. with no extra charge for service after 5 p.m. Nate showed up,close to 8 p.m. He inspected the rollers, hinges, cables, spring tension and track. He replaced both springs even though just one broke because both were original to the house and close tom20 yrs. old. Nate was professional, efficient and quick. We have a two year warranty on the springs and a one year warranty on the labor. The next day their office called to confirm that Nate showed up to do the job and check to see that we were please deity the work. We were impressed with the tech and the overall customer service.

Very efficient. Cleaned up when they were through. Job well done.

Tech was friendly, explained what problems there were and completed the job in a professional and timely manner. He arrived on time and got right to work.

They were not able to fix it the 1st day because of the heavy type of door we have. They came out the next day with a new opener and did get the door fixed. We were very happy with their service. They did a good job.

we have worked with this company for several years. They are professional and responsive. We had them install our new system in 2011, and since then have hired them to fix a few things and replace our outside key pad.

Garage door spring broke after 5 on a Friday evening. Placed call to Garage Doors of Indianapolis first thing on Saturday morning.They sent technician out that morning. He diagnosed and replaced the door spring in less than an hour. He was prompt, knowledgable and cleaned up after. Definitely recommend

Called the company to get information to fix a broken spring on a garage door. Was able to schedule same day service, however, the price was high compared to other companies (even with an online coupon). Receptionist was friendly and helpful but decided not to use them due to price,

Woke up today (Saturday morning) to a broken garage door spring - I was trapped! Called Garage Doors of Indianapolis; they said they could send out a technician this a.m. and it would be $199 (no hidden costs!) for part and labor. I mentioned Angie's List and got 10% off the labor. The technician arrived at 1130 (within the 10-1:00) window; he was pleasant and efficient. The garage door was fixed (and he looked it over to make sure everything else looked ok) and was out the door in 15 minutes. I was so impressed and thrilled to have it repaired that I tipped him $10 for his lunch!! Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

Got home on Saturday evening and discovered garage door would not open. We eventually figured out that a spring was broken. Check Angie's List and called garage doors of Indianapolis. They answered and said they could someone to my house on Sunday. No overtime charges. I said OK and asked if repair person could come around 1pm when I would be there. They said OK. They then called back and asked if he could come in the morning, because overtime rates would apply in the afternoon. They said if I could leave access door unlocked, I did not have to be there. That sounded good to me. I left door unlocked. Sunday he called, said he was on the way. He arrived and started investigating. Called and suggested that we replace both springs since broken one was same age as the other. No extra labor change for that. He asked if someone could come and move the cars that were in the garage. They were very close to garage doors. (Note that for future!). My spouse went home, no problem and moved the cars. The work was completed very quickly and the garage door works great. I am very pleased with the results. I was very surprised I could get it fixed on next day (even Sunday) with no extra charges.

When I had them to repair the 1st broken spring the repairman did not replace both sides so I had to pay double that price when they repaired the other side. I will not use them again in the future

Went great from what I heard about it.

Late in the afternoon on 3/12 we heard a loud clunk. At 6:30 p.m. we tried to open the garage door, we found the door-opener wouldn't open the door and we couldn't open it manually. With our car trapped inside, we knew we would need someone to open the door that night because we had an early-morning doctor's appointment. The person who answered the phone said they could get someone there that night but it might be late. Therefore, we reluctantly paid for "expedited" service and a technician was at our home within an hour. We have used this company on two other occasion in the past 10 years. This technician was by far the best. Not only did he quickly fix the problem, but he cleaned and checked the rest of the mechanism and gave us helpful hints for keeping the opener in good repair. Although I consider the price for the expedited service unduly high, all in all the amount was worth it -- and lower than I feared it might be.

Purchased the tune up for $59.00 . As fate would have it the next day my garage door opened quit working. Tech came out same day and fixed couple of issues and replaced a broken part. Also balanced the door and tightened loose bolts. Overall they were very responsive to my needs and was happy with the service they provided.

Everything was fine once the panel arrived. It just took longer than we expected to get the panel.

It was a great experience. I would call them again without hesitation.

I called them around 1:30 to see when they could come out to fixed my broken garage door. They said they would have someone out there today by 4pm. I was a little nervous because I was at work all day and could not be there for the service tech. The service tech Justin called to let me know he was 10 mins away and said he would call again once he arrived. He called as soon as he got there. Then he called before he fixed any parts that were needed and told me the exact price before. He called again once he was done and to let me know he was leaving and the garage door was down and locked. This company was amazing to work with. I also have never had a service tech that was so polite and took the time to really make sure I knew every step he was doing. It gave me great comfort to know I had someone so trustworthy at my house when I wasnt there. I was so impressed by the service over all and Justin is definatly a first class tech. very very pleased! I will be using them from now on.

They did the work as described in the coupon and fixed a wiring issue that was causing the door opener to malfunction occasionally. They did not charge me extra for the additional work! I will definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to neighbors.

Got an estimate for a small amount of guttering last Nov. 13, 2012. Said would be almost 2 weeks before they could get to us. Then I contacted Chris (our rep) when didn't hear anything and left a message. They let my husband know it would now be January before they could get to us. End of January I called the rep again. He said they were behind and it would be another couple of weeks. Told him that was not acceptable as we had waited months as it was. He would get back to me. Only once did he get back to me out of all the times he promised. All other times I had to keep calling him. Talked to a guy at the home show and he said to call Cara to get it scheduled and that she would take good care of us. Had to call her more than once to finally get us scheduled. This was a small job. Finally showed up in Feb. They didn't have the right guttering for a small section so said would come back soon. Waited several weeks and then called Cara again. She said it was her fault as she had our info in the wrong file. They finally came to finish up and also had to move the downspout which they had put in the wrong place. Two days later I get a letter stating that my bill was overdue as of Feb.--they didn't finish the job until March 5 and I hadn't received any bills prior to this letter. Called rep again and he called accounting. Said to mail in check and they would take off late fees. After all of the calls I had to make to get this job done and the HUGE delays I would think they would've given us a deduction on our bill. The job took almost 4 months to get done--a job which took less than an hour to do. I lost count of the times I had to call to try and get something done. I won't use them again on guttering as they are very unorganized. The workmen did a good job on installing the guttering.

Decided to get another quote from a different company, who is also planning to service the doors springs and balance the door. This may have been planned by Garage Doors of Indianapolis, but was not communicated to increase my confidence that the new opener would not break.

Service was only a few hours after I initially called. The tech called to confirm he was on his way, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He had the problem diagnosed with the opener within minutes, and he was very knowledgeable about the models of new openers he had with him. I knew I had some issues with the door as well, and he quickly pinpointed the broken parts and worn areas and provided me with an estimate for the total cost of the repairs along with installation of the new opener. He completed all of his work in about an hour, and the results were very good. The new opener works as expected, and the door itself is more stable and makes a lot less noise when being opened and closed. Two issues came up that were not horrible but still less than ideal. First, the coupons that Garage Doors of Indy provides didn't apply to my situation. One was for a garage door "tune-up," which was not really what I had done, but another coupon was for a "service call." I figured that one would work given then fixes the tech made to my door, but because the bulk of the job was replacing the opener, he said it was considered an "installation" and not a service call, so I was not able to use the $30 off. He was apologetic and said the company had been cracking down on applying that coupon too broadly, but to me the language of the coupon should have applied (or at least it should have been made clear on the coupon that new hardware installation didn't apply). The tech also needed to do a little more work than we had initially discussed to stabilize the garage door. This work added about $90 to the cost of the work, so it was not insignificant. I likely would have approved the work had he let me know about it when he realized it was necessary, and I wish he would have informed me before simply adding it to the ticket. I still rate their service highly -- they came out the same day I called, the technician was knowledgeable, professional, and did his work efficiently, and the results have been very good.
