Garage Doors of Indianapolis

Garage door would not open and I had been planning on replacing it because it was old and rusted out. The salesman was able to get the door up so I could get my car out which was greatly appreciated. We worked out the order and scheduled the installation date. The only reason they received a "B" is because it was three weeks before they could get to me for installation. The installation and everything went fine and I am very happy with my new door.

The employee who came was very good. He had great personal skills and did an excellent job.

The technician arrived on time and the repair was quickly achieved. The technician also installed new rollers and cables. The door now opens and closes quietly and efficiently. This is the second time that I have used this vendor and I will call them again when needed.

Based on Angie's List I called GDOI to replace a broken spring. I was asked when we wanted the service and I said today expecting a response that they were all booked up, but a service call was scheduled for today. Matt called and said he would be here in 30 minutes which ended up being at 10:45pm. Matt was quite impressive in being patient, professional, and knowledgeable. He replaced the springs, all the rollers which were in bad shape, and tightened/serviced the door. It took less than an hour. We talked about maintenance I could do on the door and he sold me a can of spray oil and showed me how to apply it. He also talked about the place in the door which had been slightly backed into and how the door would deteriorate around the crease. I will look for coupons for a once per year service and request Matt. Garage Doors of Indianapolis will be our go to place for any garage door requirements.

Technician fixed the door and provided a basic tuneup. He was courteous, explained what he was doing, and charged me a coupon price even though I didn't have the coupon. I will call them again for repairs and service.

Mike arrived within a couple of hours and fixed the door.

The tech showed up almost alarmingly quickly and knocked the job out (replacing springs and cables) in a hurry. The rest of the door mechanisms were checked to confirm they were in working order, as well. Tech was very courteous. Would absolutely hire again.

The garage door had gone off-kilter in the tracks. A repair tech fixed it and performed regular maintenance on the door.

Service was OK, the technician was very good. Price was too high

Repairman quickly removed and replaced springs, tightened other areas of the garge door and opener.

They were very accommodating to come out and fix it the same day by working through their schedules. Very flexible and responsive.

They replaced a broken spring for our garage door. Came in and quickly made swap the day after it broke (broke at night).

Great, work was completed under extreme weather conditions that did not affect the excellent work done.

It went great! They sent a serviceman out who told us we would need to replace our door opener. He came at 8:00 no extra charge. Due to the weather conditions and scheduling, he came out two days later and replaced it. He made sure we could use or door manually before he left and did not try to pressure us into getting a higher priced model.

Within a relatively short time (2.5 hours!) Rick Bader was there and he put the dented door back on its tracks and I am good to go, having only lost my wages for the afternoon and evening by being stuck without a car:-) Rick even used his special spray lubricant on the hinges to make sure they were working easily. I will definitely be calling him when it is time to replace the door and assembly.

I called GDI because we have used them before and they were still highly rated on Angie's List. We scheduled a service visit for the next afternoon. The technician called 20 minutes out and arrived about 20 minutes later. He quickly found a broken wire inside the garage door opener and repaired it. He also found some damage to the gear inside and took it out to show me. He recommended a replacement, but never told me how much it would be, so I thought it would either be a negligible cost, or included in the service call. He explain how often he replaced these parts, which made me think they weren't that expensive. When it came time to pay the bill, that part cost $100! I fully expected to pay $110 for the service call and repair, but the gear that was in there was working fine, and I am disappointed in myself for not requiring more information before he replaced it. I would have much rather purchased a brand new opener for $400 than get this old one fixed for $235.

The service technician did a nice job. The only glitch was with the billing department but the issue was quickly corrected.

E&E came out and replaced the rubber bottom ledge. With the new ledge attached the garage door now closes tight with no air gaps letting in cold air or rain. Very satisfied.
