I called and got Tom in service/parts. Told him I couldn't get a universal to work, asked if they had one that would work. Instead of selling me something he talked me through the one I had. It worked . Turns out the instructions it came with was wrong for my model. Wonderful. When I do buy a new system I'll buy it from these guys... .... Thanks so much!!!!

When I went to close the garage door; the light flashed and it kept going back up. I called them and they came within 4 hours. It seems there was a bag that had gotten partially in front of the sensor and prevented the door from closing properly. The Service Tech was very professional and helpful and even though this was my error he did not charge me. I use this company on a regular basis and have always found their service to be excellent.

Don't return calls same day for warranty service. Put off service call for two weeks, while advertising same day service.

I called them at 3 in the afternoon when I discovered the garage door opener would not close the door. I called and the service man was there in a couple of hours. He fixed the problem quickly and matched a competitor's coupon. I was impressed by Justin, the service man. The job was done sooner and cost less than expected (you don't hear me say that often).

Garage Doors of Indianapolis installed a garage door for me a few years ago and did a great job, so I chose them again this time to replace a very old garage door opener. Glenn, the installer, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was punctual (actually he called and arrived early.) He had the job completed in good time, and then he instructed me regarding use, maintenance, and lubrication of the new garage door opener. I was a little surprised by the cost of the new opener, but I chose the more expensive one of the 2 models that were offered. There is a lifetime warranty on the motor, and 2 years on labor.

The gentleman still worked despite the high temperatures. They had a warehouse that I could actually see the garage door before it was replaced. They gave me great pricing! The garage door looks great.

I was kind of in a pickle because when the spring is broken you cannot get your car out of your garage. I called them, and they came out and took care of it that same day which I had to have done. They were prompt and got it done in time for me to go out that evening. So, I was happy about that. Now, I do not know if $462 was a good price or not. I do not know. I thought that was a little high, but maybe that was about right. That is the only reservation that I have and I have used them in the past. I have always used them and they do good work. They gave me guarantee and all that. That was good. The work was good. It should be good to go. It should last me because he noted that some rollers I had were bad and he fixed those, and so by him doing that, it saved me down the road from potential problems.

They were punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Would use again!

When I called, I spoke with a nice gal named January who was professional and helpful in determining the fact that the reason the garage door was not going to open allowing me to get my car out of the garage and get to work was because the big spring she was telling me about was indeed broken. She informed me that they could fix it and the spring itself would cost anywhere between $100-150 AND to have them come out would be another $100 on top of that spring cost AND if I needed them to come NOW that would be a "premier" request and would be another $100, so basically around $325 total she confirmed. I was already distraught since I couldn't leave for work as needed and that seemed like an awful lot of money for a service call and new spring installed. So, while time was of the essence in that moment this morning, I went ahead and got off the phone with her after thanking her for your time and said I would be back in touch once I decided if I wanted their help and went directly to Angie's List to search "garage doors" and found Indy Elite Garage Doors located up near Castleton, called and within 5 minutes they had quoted me $149 for the spring to repair the garage door and NO ADDITIONAL COSTS, so he offered me the Angie's List discount of 5%, the guy was here within a half hour to fix my garage door and also oiled/lubed everything up on both doors after repairing the spring and folks it cost a WHOPPING TOTAL OF $141.55, NOT $325!!!!!!! That's good stuff in my opinion and a bit more fair price wise. Again, Garage Doors of Indianapolis was nice and professional, but I'll never forget the difference in pricing from them and the very next company I called and businesses really need to be competitive in pricing, maybe there will be some difference and not always the same of course, but over 50% higher than the next straight A contractor on Angie's List is simply too high priced!

I called on Saturday, they came out a few hours later and fixed my door. The tech was very professional and worked quickly. I will call them for any of my future needs.

Excellent experience, company called reminding me of the appointment then technician called as time drew nearer to ensure I was home and expecting his visit. Technician was effecient and personable explaining what he was doing and looking for. Offered suggestions on how to maintain door and periodic scheduled maintenance.

After multiple companies declining to service our defunct garage door system - because parts could not be found - our last hope was Garage Doors of Indianapolis. When Brian and Jeff arrived we were waiting to hear the words " we can not help you or fix this make of garage door." NOT THE CASE -- upon inspection they knew EXACTLY what the problem was and within a matter of 30 min. the problem was solved! We were pleased with the quick response to our phone call and very satisfied in total with the overall experience by Garage Doors of Indianapolis! We would DEFINITELY recommend this company for any garage door repair and will use them again if the need arises!!!

They came out and after checked the garage door. The spring just needed to be tightened and not replaced.

They made some adjustments while they were there. Everything seems to have worked out fine.

They did a good job. Nothing was found in the inspection. They looked at the parts and tuned up the door.

Tech was prompt and performed the required maintenance on my door. He also troubleshot a problem I had with one of the lights on the opener and solved the problem at no extra charge.

My house was struck by lightening. As a result it damaged my garage door opener. I called that morning and was told a service tech would be out that afternoon. When the tech arrived I advised him what happened. After taking the cover off the opener he discovered a board was damaged. He replaced the board. He also needed to replace the door sensors. He also took the time to inspect the door and rollers. I would recommend Garage Doors. They are professional and do good work.

It turned out just fine. They were at the home for about an hour.

The mechanic was on time, friendly, and professional. He explained everything he was doing and gave me tips to keep the doors in great shape. I was planning to change the rollers to the nylon rollers myself. He gave me a price that I couldn't refuse and had them replaced in minutes. I will definitely use them for any future garage door projects.

It went very well and I was happy with the service. He arrived on time and did the repairs quickly.

The technician installed the new circuit board on the same day that we requested service, and our garage door is working once again working well. The only hiccup in our experience with Garage Doors of Indianapolis was one involving communication. It took sometime for the office to get back to us regarding a concern that we wanted to discuss after the installation. But once the office was in touch with us, our follow-up concern was fully addressed. The gentleman who called us, Ryan, was both friendly and professional.

Garage Doors of Indianapolis (Doors Today) is very punctual and easy to work with. Prices are fair too.

Company came to look at broken garage door, recommended that based on condition of track and door (bent, popped screws) that we get a new one. Serviceman went through options with us, was very patient as I discussed with wife over the phone as to what we should order. We bought value priced door, but are very happy with the quality especially compared to our old door. Garage was installed efficiently and old door taken away. Garage frame was not totally square, to they ended up installing additional trim to compensate. Installers were friendly and neat.

The work turned out perfect. The whole process was seamless.
