Barbara was great. She and her husband were really fun and had beautiful suggestions. The work to do two cornices in my son's room was going to be quite a bit more expensive ($750) than I expected so I decided to pass.

The service provider prices were outrageous. It took me forever to get her to come out to the appointment. I got little directions on how to pick fabric or the cost so I didn't know what price range I was working with. Then she wanted to charge me $500 to make to side panels. When she notice this was way more than what I wanted to pay she offered little suggestions.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them. I felt there was some material or something involved but it was more or less just an estimate. I don’t have any complaints. I didn’t deal with them personally and it was my daughter. I just basically know the outcome of the situation. My expectations were higher so it wasn’t really their fault for my experience.

Very personable. Great ideas, liked her taste. My order seemed to have become lost/misplaced;missed promised delivery by several weeks.

She requested my phone number and e-mail, which I provided, with a summary of what I wanted, but I never heard from her.

Initially it went well, but when we received the products and they installed them, we were disappointed in how they hung and did not raise up and fold properly, then the draw strings broke, the knobs on the draw strings also came off, we called and she came back out and took the units with her, it took 6 plus weeks to return and we still have some of the problems. I felt her heart was in the job but I also felt we should have been counseled on how these would operate and given a choice , we would not have selected these.

I purchased additional treatments beyond what was allotted in the deal. The product was more expensive than I expected. She projected the time frame to take six weeks, but it took much longer than expected.

Barb and Larry came to visit in May and showed us different ideas on plantation shutters. They explained the quality and told us how it would work and then quoted us a price based on what we decided to go with. The shutters were supposed to be here by the end of July but it took somewhat longer. Then when they did come in, their installation guy was on vacation for a week and then we were on vacation the following week. They were installed today (9-27) and Larry came with the installer. They change the look of our home and we love them so much, we may have our 2nd bedroom done in the near future.

The shutters are already over three months late. They showed up today and are still asking for more payment even though they are late and I have already paid them. I am not convinced that they are even able to install them. After the installation, I found the shutters did not fit the frame and the shutter frame did not fit the window and there were large gaps. When I ordered the shutters in June, they said they would be able to install by the time I needed them which was August 5th. They advised it was no problem and that they would be able to install within (6) weeks. They ended up installing the shutters on September 27th.

The coupon credit hardly seemed like a 33% discount, expected our money to go further in the long run with the discount. We ended up being a small customer for her and therefore felt like we were treated that way. Too many delays, and missed deliverable dates when you look at the project from start to finish. We suspect had we been a larger customer (i.e. spent more money) we would have received better service.

She called a couple of months later saying there was a fabric flaw and I would have to pick out something else. I did, then didn't hear anything for at least 6 months when I finally called her to see what was going on. She said the problem was actually with the installer, and we were finally able to agree on a date for installation of my window coverings. Every time she came to my home she brought her husband, who I can only describe as an obnoxious jerk. Also, every time she came to my house, she had to use my BATHROOM!!! Very unprofessional. So, 9 months and an additional $378.00 later, the drapes are finally up. The installer was friendly and professional, the drapes are so-so. Not what I would have expected for the money.

It was way more than what we wanted to pay so we did not use them. I know my wife had a hard time getting a hold of the company.

It was wonderful! She is fantastic. We felt like we got really good quality for what we spent.

It was fine. Everything went smoothly. They were very responsive.

Honestly, I felt like she was there for 30 minutes. It was way overpriced for a half hour of consultation.

I was charged $99 for just a consultation. I was unhappy. I wish they would have gone over the details of the Big Deal before charging me. It wasn’t what I thought it was. I felt like they were trying to mislead me. I tried calling them with my complaints, but nothing came of it.

We purchased a "Big Deal" of $99 for $275 worth of services because we had been unable to find window treatments that would work for us. Our initial contacts were pretty good, and Barbara and her husband brought a large selection of fabrics to our house so we could match the rest of the room. However, the ordering and receipts were very unprofessional (I had to correct math errors on the invoice). The original time estimate was 6 weeks, but it took 3 months and many phone calls to finally get the treatments installed. It was also much more expensive than we had expected: $879 for 2 pillows and 2 window valances - after the coupon discount, plus another $60 for the installation. We do like the result, but we will shop around much more before we do this again.

I have not heard from provider since March when she took our order. I called her the beginning of June and she said she would get back with me in two weeks. I have heard nothing. I am rather peeved and I feel like I have been ignored or just plain overlooked.

I was trying to get ideas, she was good at helping with that.

Two sets were fine, but one of the sets (the largest of the three) of vertical blinds warped in the sun in the family room.They sent me replacement blades, but they didn't make any difference. They warped too. Been working with Larry for the last several months. Showed me samples of blade to replace the warped ones. He doesn't return calls, and when I do talk to him he says he's too busy and has yet to find a solution. I can't get this guy to do anything. AFTER LEAVING THE REVIEW FOR ANGIE'S LIST TODAY, I CALLED THE FACTORY WHO CREATES THESE BLINDS, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY NICE AND VERY APOLOGETIC WITH MY CONCERN. THEY WERE ABLE TO SEND ME BLINDS TO REPLACE THE ONES I HAD GOTTEN AND THEY WERE CONFIDENT ABOUT THE ONES THEY WERE SENDING WERE GOING TO WORK OUT. IT WAS INTERESTING TO ME THAT I WAS ABLE TO CALL THEM AND GET A RESPONCE, BUT WITH LARRY I KEPT GETTING THE RUN AROUND.

It went very well. Just took longer than I expected. But am very happy with the finished product.

Barb arrived with her husband, Larry, and all of her fabric samples. After fabric selection, Larry removed the chair cushions from my dining room chairs and they took them, to return after all is completed.

The window treatments turned out nicely. I was a little disappointed with her follow-up. The entire process from start to finish took longer than I expected, but I think it was because she had such a good response to her Groupon offer, and shortly after that Groupon, offered another one for decorating. So, I think she may have overextended herself. She was good about returning my calls, but I had to initiate each appointment. When the window treaments were finished and ready to be hung, she was not able to make the appointment. The person did a nice job, but I felt that she should have made the effort to come out and view the finished product. They needed to be steamed, which she offered to have done, but at that point I decided to do it myself.

Installation had to wait for the blinds to be delivered. When they came, installation was over in just a few hours. One blind was defective and will have to be replaced. That was in April. They said they would reorder the defective blind and come back to replace it. We called a month lather (May). Found out it had not been ordered. They "forgot". Called back in June. Blind was ordered but had not come in yet. They will call when it gets in. Called in July, 3. They will come out Monday to install it. They "forgot" that they were supposed to call us. July 8 they finally arrived and installed the blind. Due to the poor responsiveness and unprofessional atitude, we will never use this firm/company again.

I enjoyed working with Barb, she was very professional and is expert at material.
