Description of Work: The interaction with the provider was not bad but in addition to the deal, the cost was going to be an additional $700 (to upholster 6 kitchen chairs, bottom only). This was way more than we expected to pay.

Description of Work: Brought fabric out - measured - helped with selection of materials. Came back and installed the drapes were lines and the sheers were beautiful. Very happy. Very nice people to work with. I thought the price was reasonable. Included the stylish rods and hooks.

Description of Work: The couple that came out was very very nice. They explained right from the very start, that the coupn amount I purchased would not cover Plantation Shutters, as I had hoped (and also THE reason I purchased the coupon). We then swtiched gears to blinds, and my amount STILL would not cover those cost. In the end,I did NOT want to spend any more money to have my windows covered.

Description of Work: I bought The Big Deal. Barbara and her husband came out on Monday, Feb., 18th. I showed them my print out from The Big Deal. We talked about what I wanted. They measured the windows and said that they would look at and price the kind of fabric that I wanted and come back today (Feb. 26th) at 4:30. I rushed home from work today to be here by 4:30. At 4:50 they were still not here. I called. Barbara called me back a few minutes later and said that they had sent me an e-mail earlier this afternoon to tell me that my Big Deal was not one that they had authorized and that they would not be able to honor it. She said that they had a Big Deal earlier that was worth less but that had ended. (She didn't even offer to let me do that one instead.) I am angry about this and feel like the real story is that I did not have a big order and they would not make much from it so they didn't want to bother with it. It doesn't make sense to me that they would not have mentioned the "problem" with the Big Deal last Monday when they were here.

Description of Work: I wanted a valance for my living room window, I bought an Angie's List special. While the end product turned out just as I had envisioned it the getting there was a struggle. Meeting with Barbara the first time she suggested some valance types for my window, she was to get back to me with some ideas. In the meantime I found a design I liked online and asked her if she could make a "cuff top valance", that is what is was called online. She said she knew what I was talking about and it would be no problem. I even sent her an e-mail with a link to the valance design I saw and wanted. She came over with fabric samples and I picked out what I wanted, I asked her if it could be done by my sons wedding which was the end of July, she agreed to have it done. I signed the contract agreeing to the fabric and the drawing of the design she had drawn on the contract, it look like what I saw online... Three days before the wedding she called to tell me the valance was ready. She did not have time to bring it to me so I agreed to meet her somewhere and pick it up. It was folded neatly and covered in plastic so I did not take it out to examine but I saw that it was the fabric I had ordered so I went home to hang it. When I took it out of the packing I noticed it was straight not curved at the bottom like I had seen online. I thought perhaps it would look better on the window but no it looked worse. I sent her a photo of it in an e-mail and let her know there was a problem with it, she suggested I had hung it wrong. Again I sent her the link in an e-mail with the photo. She sent the link to the very nice lady that does the sewing for her. I also talked to her and sent her the link and I bought a sewing pattern for the valance I wanted and let her borrow it. There was another problem after I got the remade valance but it was fixed and finally in September I had the valance I was expecting. Barbara never came back to my house to pick up or deliver anything to me after the 2nd visit to my house to bring fabric samples. She stated that she didn't have time to come to my house so we made arrangements for my husband to meet her near his office to drop off and pick up the valance, all 4 times. I have talked to and e-mailed the lady that did the sewing and mainly dealt with her the last couple of times. She was always very professional and polite. Barbara could learn a lesson from her. If it weren't for her I probably would have given the overall experience an F.

Description of Work: Living Social deal for a window blind - promptly replied to inquiry, set a quick date for measurement. Took an extra phone call to check on order status, but with that call - installation came straight away. Very professional and prompt with appointments.

Description of Work: I ORDERED BLINDS FROM THIS COMPANY IN RESPONSE TO A SUPER DEAL YOU ADVERTISED. IT IS NOW 1/17 AND I STILL HAVE NO BLINDS. I ORDERED MORE BLINDS THAN THE ONE OFFERED. I'M OUT $400 AND HAVE NO PRODUCT. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A "COUPLE OF WEEKS". I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE CALLED THEM AND THEY STILL SAY JUST A LITTLE WHILE LONGER. IT LOOKS LIKE TO ME THAT THEY CAN'T PAY THEIR BILLS SO CANNOT GET THE PRODUCT. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL A "SUPER DEAL" PLEASE HELP ME. I'VE BEEN SITTING WITHOUT BLINDS IN MY HOME 2 MONTHS. WE'VE BEEN SITTING IN THE DARK. I TOOK THE OLD BLINDS DOWN BECAUSE I HAD THE HOUSE PAINTED.....LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT I WOULD BE SITTING IN THE DARK..... I NEED A REFUND IMMEDIATELY
