Description of Work: I called FreshKote to request an estimate for the painting of the exterior of our home on May 4, 2009 because I had seen an advertisement in a neighbor's yard and assumed they would be reliable. I had to leave a message and when I did not receive a call back, I called again and was told they were "swamped". I was able to make an appointment for an estimate on May 6 at 10am, although Jeremy, the general manager, called the day of the appointment and changed the appointment to May 7 at the same time. No Call/No Show. Ever. The job went to another company for $2,000.00+ I guess they didn't need the business.

Painted the trim all around the garage door and touched up garage door proper. They were very upset when they had to return and finish the job on the garage door. The reason was the job was not on the original work order. They were upset about having to do this, since they were in Beech Grove and had to drive all the way back to Greenwood after this job. They were very rude and treated you like you didn't know anything. They did not hook up the door after they painted it saying it had to remain in the up position for 2 hours till it dried. He stated this while pulling away in his work truck. Would not recommend this company. They also applied caulking to the nail and edging, and only let it dry for 15 minutes before they painted it; should have let it dry for 2 hours or more.
Description of Work: They came out to do work for CP Morgan. Repainted the trim and garage door. This was a warranty repair.

WE ARE NOT AWARE OF THIS INCIDENT. ACCORDING TO OUR RECORDS, WE WERE, SIMPLY, HIRED BY CP MORGAN TO DO A "WARRANTY REPAIR". ACCORDING TO CP MORGAN, THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED AS REQUESTED. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS PERFORMED AT THE CP MORGAN SPECIFICATION. WE ARE DISAPPOINTED IF THE HOMEOWNER FELT THAT SHE WAS TREATED IN A RUDE MANNER. OUR CREWS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR WORK ORDER. IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT THE HOMEOWNER EXPECTED MORE THAN WE HAD BEEN HIRED TO DO. ANY DIFFERENCES OF EXPECTATIONS NEEDED TO BE RESOLVED BETWEEN CP MORGAN AND THEIR HOME BUYER. WE HAVE PAINTED FOR CP MORGAN FOR OVER 20 YEARS, AND HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED A HIGH STANDARD OF WORKMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. IN ADDITION TO OUR "NEW HOME PRODUCTION" DIVISION, WITH ADDITIONAL MAJOR BUILDERS, WE HAVE A "NEW CUSTOM HOME DIVISION" AND A "RESIDENTIAL REPAINT" DIVISION THAT WE CAN PROVIDE MANY POSITIVE CUSTOMER REFERENCES. WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO THAT WITH ANY CUSTOMER'S REQUEST. I WISH THE HOMEOWNER WOULD HAVE CONTACTED OUR OFFICE AT THE TIME, AS WE DO NOT HAVE ACTUAL NAMES AND CONTACT NUMBERS OF THE CP MORGAN JOB REQUEST. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE WORKED WITH THE HOMEOWNER AND ADDRESS ANY ISSUES SHE MAY HAVE HAD, ESPECIALLY, THE ISSUE OF RUDENESS. THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND.
