+ -1 moreReplaced a custom ordered exterior door and hardware. Had to do some work on the new door to get the hinges lined up properly and had to remove and install the locking hardware from the old door to the new door. The screen door installed required a considerable amount of patience from Fred to figure out the instructions and improvise when the instructions were not clear. Although I was ready to take the screen door back, Fred persevered and got the door installed. He did a excellent job.

+ -1 moreWhen my house was built 18 years ago the builder did not sufficiently attach the deck to the foundation. As a result, over the years, the part of the deck next to the house sunk and caused some of the boards to be uneven. Fred was able to repair or replace some boards and attach the deck to the house.

Fred Erskine Carpentry offers the following services: Primarily wood materials - Custom designs, functional art and furniture for commercial and residential custom building needs, specializing in cabinets, built-ins, millwork, custom furniture and restorations. Collaborates with metal fabricators, furniture designers and artists to include other materials (e.g. resin, metal, ceramic, etc.). Experience in renovation and remodeling to include a combination of materials (e.g. wood, tiles, etc.).
Not offering plumbing, roofing, and electrical. However, I will be responsible for hiring these contractors for custom jobs that include these labor needs and will discuss this in the job quote (e.g. kitchen and bathroom remodeling and/or cabinets requiring electrical or plumbing needs).
