Fire Dawgs Junk Removal Indianapolis

Description of Work: Fire Dawgs removed a huge old TV, a large metal folding ladder, and a fire safe. Big John and Keith were very friendly, courteous, and professional. We will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: I have used Indy Recycles in the past as they picked up for a donation. All good things come to an end. I had 3 televisions, an overhead light, and a dehumidifier. I thought they were a little on the pricey side but given the fact that the junk is gone I was happy to pay the fee. |They were late but did call to let me know they were running late. The two gentlemen were cordial and got everything loaded quickly. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I used them for numerous matters. I believe I used them about 4 - 5 times, each cost in the neighborhood of $1000. It was well worth every penny as the work was hard and dirty. They unloaded a couple very huge dumpsters that had been left in my driveway by a previous contractor; then saw that the dumpster was removed. They also unloaded a large mobile mini of many boxes that had been placed in it to a secure space in my garage and porch (numerous boxes). They were very profesisonal in appearance, in manerisms, timely, and very courteous. I felt like I was treated better than family! I definitely would recommend this group and would use them again without even considering anyone else as I was more than pleased.

Their ad needs to be updated to make it clear that the deal price is valid for junk the size of only ONE refrigerator size appliance (currently does not specify a limit of only one). Therefore, cost was more than what I expected, but fair.

Description of Work: I did not use the service, when scheduling the service there was an additional charge for fuel since I live in McCordsville. The additional fuel charge was not disclosed in the add when I bought it. They need to disclose that for the future. [Member name removed]

Description of Work: I bought the service for my girlfriend so she could get rid of junk that was crowding needed space in her garage. I called said company to give them my girlfriends phone so they could set up a time to do the work. A week went by with no word from Fire Dawgs. I called back, left message and still no call!! I called a third time and was able to talk to Alex. Alex said that he called the home office in Indy and gave them my girlfriends phone. Alex did apologize for the mix up and said that he would call my girlfriend himself that day. I called my girlfriend, Debbie, to let her know that Alex was going to call. Later, Debbie called me to tell me that after telling Alex what type of junk she wanted picked up, Alex informed her that the 49.00 price only included junk that took up the space of a refrigerator! She was confused and told Alex that she believes that I would be as well. Debbie then informed me and I said that I didn't remember seeing that in the ad . I then called Alex to ask him and he told me the same story. I informed him that the ad was misleading and leads one to think that your company will only take junk up to the size of a refrigerator. I then told him that I wouldn't need his service and said that I was going to lodge a complaint to Angie's List. Alex apologized and we hung up.
