Response from Fire Dawgs Junk Removal Indianapolis
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your interaction with Fire Dawgs Junk Removal! We apologize that you are not completely satisfied with the service you received. Our records indicate that we did miss your initial call in April, and we do apologize for that. Our General Manager, Alex, left a voicemail promptly, and we understand that you were able to get in touch. On the deal itself, the following link is provided to our Surcharge list and the deal states: "Not applicable for hazardous materials such as paint. Additional fee may apply for junk with a disposal fee; visit [Removed Hyper Link], for a full list of items." TVs are included on this list. We want to explain why non-working TVs (and TVs that can't be donated) have a surcharge. We recycle e-waste like TVs and computers. It is illegal to dump these items in the state of Indiana, and for a good reason! E-waste, like TVs, contain harmful components that are toxic to the environment and need to be disposed of and recycled properly. When we take TVs to facilities to be disposed of and recycled, we get charged for each TV that we bring in. That is where the surcharge comes from. This surcharge list is included in the details of the deal. Once again, we apologize that you were not able to use the deal you purchased. Thank you again for your feedback, and take care!
