Description of Work: Fire Dawgs did a great job. Arrived when they were scheduled to arrive. The guys from Fire Dawgs were pleasant and took the time to complete the task in a professional manner. I would highly recommend Fire Dawgs. My only issue was that I purchased the service via Angie's list, did the on-line scheduling but never heard back. I called them to follow up and scheduled the pick up over the phone. Maybe there is a disconnect between the Angie's list on-line purchase system and this service provider.

Description of Work: They picked up some scrap lumber from a home renovation project. It had a lot of dangerous staples sticking out of it. I told them to take as much scrap wood as my $49 payment allowed. I think they took a little more than what they were required to so I was very happy.

Description of Work: I called/left information twice before getting a response over a period of about 10 days. I then learned that "If I went to their website, it states TV's have an additional fee if they can't be donated (they don't work or are too old)." When I asked why that wasn't stated on the special, they stated there wasn't enough room for it-space is limited. I got my money back from Angie's list.

Our records indicate that we did miss your initial call in April, and we do apologize for that. Our General Manager, Alex, left a voicemail promptly, and we understand that you were able to get in touch. On the deal itself, the following link is provided to our Surcharge list and the deal states: "Not applicable for hazardous materials such as paint. Additional fee may apply for junk with a disposal fee; visit [Removed Hyper Link], for a full list of items." TVs are included on this list. We want to explain why non-working TVs (and TVs that can't be donated) have a surcharge. We recycle e-waste like TVs and computers. It is illegal to dump these items in the state of Indiana, and for a good reason! E-waste, like TVs, contain harmful components that are toxic to the environment and need to be disposed of and recycled properly. When we take TVs to facilities to be disposed of and recycled, we get charged for each TV that we bring in. That is where the surcharge comes from. This surcharge list is included in the details of the deal. Once again, we apologize that you were not able to use the deal you purchased. Thank you again for your feedback, and take care!
