I had odds and end "junk" that needed to be hauled away and I had no way of doing so myself. As a member of Angie's list and as I frequently do, I looked for someone that I could get to pick it up. I found Junk Dawg's on Angie's List and called them to set up an appointment. After receiving a quote over the phone, which they stuck to after the service was provided, scheduled a time for pick up. They promptly called beforehand, as they said they would, to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule and asked if they could come an hour earlier than scheduled. Ended up working out better for both of us. I was extremely impressed with the prompt arrival, speedy service and the commendable professionalism of the Junk Dawg's servicemen. I would recommend their services to anyone and I am sure to use them again. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an old upright freezer in my garage that had quit working and wanted hauled away. I called them and they returned my call promptly. We set a date to remove the freezer. I was told it would be an extra $25 because of the freon in it that they would be charged when they got rid of it. That was fie. They called that morning to let me know they were on the way and arrived on time. The freezer was loaded and removed. Very efficient and smooth. They were professional and performed that way. Would definitely use them again.

Can't say enough good things about these guys! One of the things I liked about this company is that they don't take everything to the dump. They donate what they can, recycle next and finally take the remainder to the dump. The whole experience was fabulous and I will definitely use them again. Remember that I had decided to work with an organizer before they came. They are very willing to tackle the job "as is". In other words, if I hadn't had everything organized, they still would have done a great job.

I had seen a coupon for Junk Dawg on Living Social. I checked out their website, and it seemed to be just what I needed to get rid of some larger household items (one's I couldn't pick up myself). I bought the coupon, and contacted Junk Dawg to set an appointment. Bennett was very responsive and helpful. I scheduled an appointment, and Bennett and Aaron (the company owners) arrive precisely on-time. They were extremely polite, friendly and professional. I know I will be using them again.

They worked around my schedule to enable to get the job completed in my time frame.

Everything went very well. They got back to us right away when we contacted them and were very good about working around our schedules since we both work during the day. The two men who came were both very professional and courteous. They did the work quickly and made sure they had taken everything we wanted them to before heading out. I would most certainly recommend them to others and will call them again if I ever need anything else hauled away!

They were prompt, professional and went the extra mile to do the job right - swept, shut garage door when leaving, and scanned and the Goodwill receipt in my name to me. We would definitiely use these guys again!

They took away three big items. We had a coupon, so we thought the price was fabulous. They were punctual, courteous, clean, and well mannered. They couldn't have been nicer. We were really happy with what they did. We would recommend them. They were just great guys.

This was an extremely easy company to work with. I called on Thursday and left a voicemail, and had a call back within minutes. They were able to schedule me for before work, between 7:30 and 8:00 am on the following Tuesday. They were right on time, very professional and efficient in removing our items. They told me they would also email me a receipt, for my records, if they were able to donate anything. The guys even swept out the carport/garage area where we had gathered the items we needed removed. It was a simple job, but their professionalism and the extra things they do make it well worth the money. I would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them to others.

I purchased the groupon for Junk Dawgs after researching places that will haul away large items (Salvation Army nor Goodwill would take the sleeper sofa with the mattress). I called the next day to schedule a time for them to come out later that week which was perfect. The gentleman who I spoke on the phone with asked what type of stuff they were going to be hauling away and after I told him, he said up front that there would be an additional fee of $40 (groupon was worth $140 of space for $49) due to the size of the load. He gave me a 30 minute time frame for the day that worked with my schedule. On the scheduled day, they called a few hours early and said that they could make it earlier if it worked out with me, but it didn't and that was fine with them as well and they just came at the scheduled time. Once they (there were 2 very nice guys...Aaron and ?) got to our house (right on time), they hauled away the furniture and computer. It was a quick and painless experience. They were very professional and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. Also, they donated the couch, chair and ottoman to Goodwill and sent me the donation receipt to use for tax purposes! Awesome job guys.

Aaron and Jason arrived promptly, calling before arrival. They assessed the total amount of materials to haul so the final price was known/agreed to before work began. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. They swept the driveway area afterwards to pick up any debris that might have been dropped during removal, leaving the area clean -- actually cleaner than it was before! Would highly recommend them to others. Will definitely call them next time that I have materials to be hauled away. They get an A+ from me!

We had a few heavy items (big screen tv, holiday bar, treadmill) located in the basement that my wife & I could not get up the stairs. We contacted Junk Dawgs to arrange for them to remove said items. They were able to schedule an evening time that fit my schedule in a very short turn around. Aaron and partner arrvived promptly at the scheduled time, made an assessment of the situation, and got right to work. They were finished and on their way in no time. When we require their type of services again, they will be my first call.

I purchased an Angie's List deal from this company for $49.00 for trash hauling. When I scheduled for the trash to be picked up, I was informed that there was an extra charge for televisions to cover the cost of disposal (televisions in working order as well as other appliances and furniture are donated to charitable organizations, I was told). It was my position that the ad did not specify that there would be an extra charge. I called Angie's List and asked for a refund, which I received. Immediately after talking to Angie's list, I received a call back from Junk Dawgs. They told me that they would honor the coupon price. They apologized for the misunderstanding and they indicated that they had put changes in place to address this issue in the future. Junk Dawgs came out two days later and removed the items as scheduled. The person I spoke to was a Mr. Bennett Aaron Tietje. I don't remember which one it was. I do remember that he was very professional and concerned about providing excellent service. I would use this company again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything hauled away.

They called me early to confirm the appointment and since they were in the area and I was available, they were able to arrive early and complete the job even before the original appointment time. They were very professional and friendly and even sent me a receipt for donating the items to Good Will.

Perfect. Gave me a date and time showed up just a bit early. Called mid morning to tell me they were running on time showed up got the job done. Would use again no problem.

I was very impressed with every facet of Junk Dawgs. Before purchasing the Angie's List Big Deal, I contacted the provider through e-mail to make sure the sofa met the criteria of the Big Deal coupon (rates change with the size of the load to be carted away). I received a reply later the same day, then purchased the Big Deal. When scheduling the pickup (which was scheduled for my convenience) I found out that 80% of the items they carry away are donated and reused. It's what I wanted to do with the sofa in the first place! I received a call before the pick up to confirm and the only minor hitch was GPS-related problem. With an additional phone call the error was remedied and they arrived for the pick-up. Since the sofa was queen sized, the firefighters (who work for Junk Dawgs) removed pictures from the walls in the path of the sofa, then maneuvered it out of the house without a scratch to wall or woodwork. Afterwards, they rehung the pictures before they left for their next job. I love the business model of this company, their customer service and wish them well in their endeavor. I recommend them highly and would use their service again in the future.
