It went very well. Painters showed up on time, did an excellent job-both patching the walls before painting and the painting itself. You can't see where the patch was made, and the painting was done very professionally-no drips or splashes left on other surfaces. I'm thrilled with the end result. I have used this company before, and would definitely use them again.

Matched finish on walls and I can't tell the work they did from the original surface. The walls look like new on a forty year old home.

I’ve used Fine painting in the past. I rehire because they are prompt, work is excellent and they call to follow up that the work was done to my satisfaction. They repaired a hole in my ceiling from a plumbing job. Matched ceiling finish perfectly.

Neal Fine came out to do the estimate. He was right on time, very courteous, and professional. The resulting estimate was extremely competitive. Chose another painter but only because I had to pick somebody. I had no qualms bout Fine Painting, however. Would recommend him to anyone.

They were very quick and efficient and the paint job looks very good. The whole process was smooth, from getting the estimate to scheduling the job to them arriving and getting it done. After they left I noticed that, being hurried on the last day, the window frames weren't a perfect job. When I complained they came out and did them all again without any objections. Then after they left I noticed that they had painted one of the ceilings the wrong color. Not sure how I didn't notice this at the time, so this was a slip on both sides. Anyway, they came out a second time and repainted the whole ceiling again very efficiently. Things don't always go perfectly, so company that responds to complaints and remedies them is exactly what is needed. They have been nothing but responsive and professional, and I would definitely use them again.

I would highly recommend Fine Painting! They were knowledgeable about matching colors and minor wall repairs and did excellent work painting upstairs and downstairs interior rooms. They arrived on time as promised and the workers were very professional and people we were comfortable with having in our home. They completed the job when promised and even brought in some extra workers so the job could be finished when promised.

I was very pleased with the job they did. My whole house was repainted so they were there several days and I felt very comfortable with them in and out of the house. They made minor repairs as they spotted them and fixed any wall problems that I noted. They were referred to me by a friend and I would certainly refer them to my friends.

I got three bids on painting before selecting Fine Painting. My husband, whose family runs a commercial painting firm on the East coast, identified Fine Painting as being the most knowledgable and thoughtful about our house's issues (wood rot, potential of lead, etc). Their bid was not the lowest, but the project went very well. Steve, the lead painter, patiently tried out many different shutter colors for me. He followed our very specific color directions. He replaced a broken window pane and storm, and a missing shutter. He was in constant touch by phone, letting me know when they would be there and when they were not.

I am very happy with how the project turned out. While discussing the work I wanted done, Mr. Fine was professional and straight forward about painting options. The painting was done very quickly. The team was so clean I couldn't even tell someone had been in the house except for the fresh paint. Overall, I was really impressed and would use their services again.

Estimate was quick and easy, work was begun very quickly thereafter. Years of scuffs and dings erased, as well as removing wallpaper, covering damaged drywall, ceiling work (in one room), and an unexpected problem with a towel rack, all handled neatly and professionally. The result is beautiful and move-in ready (as I had hoped). Price was competitive but not bargain-basement, what Fine does is excellent work and shouldn't be expected to come cheap.

Fine Painting was fantastic. Neal came over, sent me a quote and we got started on the project soon after. Mike did a great job with the painting while Neal and another man installed the crown molding. Jack and Mike even helped me to get the new headboard put together and installed! Everything was cleaned up and orderly when they left. I highly recommend this company!!

Work went very well -- the new shutters look great after work was completed and shutters were mounted in place. The work took a little longer than I anticipated; therefore resulting in a higher price.

The initial estimate Fine Painting provided me was around $1200, which I thought was a bit high for the area to be painted, but I had used this company many times over the past 4-5 years and always had meticulous and professional work performed. This last time, however, was very disappointing. The painters were to arrive between 8 and 8:30, but didn't show up until after 9am. I had never had this particular pair of painters before, but assumed they would have the work order and would know what needed to be painted. This was not the case...there was a "language barrier", so I also had to, as best I could, show them what needed to be done. After about 2 hours, I had to run a quick errand, and told them I would be back within the 1/2 hour, assuming they would still be on the job. Imagine my surprise, when I came back to find them already gone. I called Fine Painting to find out if they were just at lunch (hopefully) and when they would be back to finish. They had left messy paint drips on the front door and paint on the glass they needed to clean up and hadn't finished with the garage trim. Fine Painting told me they would get a hold of the painters and call me back. No one called me back that day. The same 2 painters showed up the next morning at 7:30am to finish the garage, which took a total of 15 minutes. I had no call that they were coming. They spent a total of about 3 work hours at my house. I then complained to Fine Painting (emailed) about the messy work and the fact I felt I was way overcharged for 3 hours of painting. Over the next few days we exchanged several emails...he did originally offer me just a 10% discount and a supervisor to come out, but I felt this was still too much $$ for the time they were here. He did eventually bill me my estimate - 20%. I read in previous reviews where someone paid $999 for 40 hours of painting, so I still fell my $900 was too much for my 3 hours (or 6 hours, since there were 2 painters) for their messy painting of my front door (that I chose to fix myself) and rush job of everything else. Just make sure you get the "A" team of painters, not the "B" team, and that the estimate is not based on the time taken to complete the project.

Fine does extraordinary work. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. From the quotation visit to the actual work, this is a top notch group. I would have marked all "As" but we had some communication snafus which I attribute to their super busy business and internal disconnects at times.

We purchased one of the Angie's list deals for 40 hours of painting for $999. A representative from Fine Painting Inc. called within one day to schedule the job and were available on the week we were hoping for. The painter (Josh) arrived on time and was polite, professional and a perfectionist. He painted 3 rooms for me during the week and we could not have been happier with the result. Josh also filled a couple of holes left from a TV mount and fixed a few trim issues that we had from a recent floor install. Overall we were very happy with Fine Painting Inc. and with Josh and would highly recommend this company (and would book them again for future work).

They were great. He came out to do an estimate, they got us on the schedule earlier than planned and they actually showed up to do the work (unlike some other contracted work we have tried to hire out). They arrived at the time the said they would and got the job done 4 days earlier. We will be hiring them to do the exterior of our home next year.

The job went very well. I was warned that removing the wallpaper might cause some issues and may take longer than estimated, but the company that installed the wallpaper is the best in the city, so I was fairly certain that all would go well. The other thing I was warned about and even when the guys started, I was told that removing the wallpaper might stain the ceiling. But this job went smoothly from beginning to end. Chris and Keith, of Fine painting, got on the job and by the end of day 1 had all of the wallpaper removed and 3/4 of the walls primed for painting. They mentioned the ceiling might be stained due to water used to remove the wallpaper, but they were so careful that it never became an issue. I thought the job may run 3 or 4 days, but everything was completed in 2 days. The cleanup was wonderful. The reason I use Fine painting is that the estimates are spot on. You know what how the job will go well before the job starts. And then, the crew that gets on the job is kind, courteous, careful and considerate. They know their craft and perform it well.

This company is very disorganized. Multiple problems. Slow progress. Pleasant people, but just spread too thin. Paint splatters on rugs and pillows and furniture; doors are still sticking -- I had to fix myself. Had to bring quality issues to the attention of the painter (mostly fixed).

The job went very well and the final product was great.

The group was very proessional. They had to Hand scrape the house and left not one bit of scaped paint anywhere. They were efficient in event manner, returning all things to their original place. I would definitely hire them agaib

The entire process went extremely well. I received an estimate promptly. The crew that came to paint was very professional. They consulted me when there was any question and made sure that we agreed on the scope of the work. They were here when they said they would be and finished when they said they would. They were also extremely pleasant! I would hire Fine Painting again in a heartbeat!
