Description of Work: We used Fant for one season and had problems. Our pool had algae. Fant did not seem to be able to fix it. It got worse. They tried several things and it only got worse. They charged us extra because of the problem which we felt they should have been able to handle. We hired a different company this summer and were very pleased. He was able to take care of all of our needs without extra charges.

+ -1 moreThis is the company to call for all of your pool and spa needs. They have the knowledge, promptness and professionalism that make this business one that we'll return to year after year. We're getting ready to have them close our pool for the season( at this late date...) and they will be here by the end of this week. Definitely worth every penny spent!
Description of Work: We called Fant Pool Service to evaluate our gas heater. Mr. Fant arrived on time, was professional, courteous and very informative. We are first-time pool owners and he took plenty of time explaining appropriate pool care, system maintenance and equipment functioning. We needed to call him again because we had problems maintaining clear water (and he had offered to "walk us through" this type of issue) and he promptly returned our call, gave us the info we needed and we were able to regain the chemical balance required for a crystal clear pool. We had another issue with our heater (it's a very old unit) and he, once again, arrived promptly and went out of his way to repair rather than replace the existing heater since the third call occurred late in the season.

+ -1 moreWe pay by the week. We have used them for the past several years. The owner who used to do the work for us is now ill and his has been doing to work for him. He hasn't taken very good care of the pool. There is algae all around the sides. They have excuses and reasons of why they can't fix the problem. We have not felt they have done a very good job. It's a family owned business and I think they mean well. They're honest but I don't feel like he knows what he's doing.

+ -1 moreI've used Fant Pool Service for years. They are very responsive, I called on a Thursday and they scheduled the job for the following Tuesday. Looks great and they left the pool area and shed neat and tidy.
