David, one of the owners, did the work himself. We've used David before and are always please with his professionalism and knowledge. He is always prompt and calls ahead to let us know when he'll arrive. We like his work so much, we now have a yearly service plan with him.

Family was there on time and was very careful about removing the old unit and installing the new unit. Family techs took the time to protect the floors and. They did a great good cleaning up and explaining how to new system works.

My A/C went out on a weekend (Sunday). I contacted the provider and was told that they will be able to get me in on Monday in between appointments. I did have flexibility in scheduling as I was not working that particular day--this was not a problem at all. The provider called me prior to arriving to let me know they were on the way. When the provider came, they listened to my concerns and took a brief history of my HVAC system. Then, the system was thoroughly checked and I was presented with the diagnosis and recommendation for repair. I was also given other recommendations for preventative maintenance. This particular provider was very professional and was not trying to force product and services onto me and took my best interests into account. I ended up getting a capacitor replaced, I got a spring/summer service done on my unit and much needed freon added. I was also given a general/overall report on the operating status/health of my HVAC unit. I also agreed to the fall service for which I pre-paid. I highly recommend this provider and will not be contacting another company to provide HVAC services.

It's been very good. We haven't had any issues or problems. This one is really good and quiet and I don't have to hear it loud which is great. Family have been dealt with them for several years. They're very dependable and they remember you. They're a bit disorganize in their office like they would call me for the service and they won't remember that we have gotten it. They just get things a little bit confused in there. The service is always good.

We have gotten some estimates for a new air conditioner this spring. The brand of equipment this company sells is rated the most reliable. And it appears that Family Heating is the most qualified to install it. Because they have the most continuing education and certifications. I would recommend this provider and would use them in the future.

Great! I contacted them last night, and they were able to schedule me in for 10AM today. Technician arrived when he said he would and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Price was much less than I was anticipating. Will definitely use them again!

I bought my house new, and did not find out until a couple of years later (just after the warranty ran out) that the builder had used refurbished equipment throughout the neighborhood. (Rule 1 then, always check that new means new.) The A/C side stopped working, but my budget would not allow a full replacement. So my family continued on like this for four years, I think. We've been in the house 10. This last fall, just before the Winter would be coming in, the entire system died. No A/C is annoying, but survivable. No heat would be a very large problem. Found out through my sub-division's Facebook page that Family Heating had installed several other systems in the area. Called them out for a consultation and was very happy with the professionalism and personality of the owner. The system was installed in a very timely manner, and when it so happened that the system was incorrectly pressurized (due to the altered size of my floor plan), they came right back out. Other reviews have complained about the responsiveness of the company. Their main number rings through to cell phones. With cell company voicemail systems being what they are, they sometimes get missed messages. So the old adage works best here, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. You will be happy you did.

The serviceman arrived promptly and fixed our furnace quickly and inexpensively. He was professional, helpful and friendly.

They are very professional and honest. They referred us to duct company that could put a camera down in our ducts to confirm that our ducts were broken and filled with dirt and water. They came out and put in a new furnace and all new duct work in the attic. They had a tight space to work in with our attic having low ceiling and we have a lot of insulation. We are very happy with the system. They are great to work with and we highly recommend them.

Although, we had the installation done around Thanksgiving of last year, I waited on writing the review until we started the new ac unit for the first time. With the coldest winter on record with mountains of snow, we are so pleased with the new installation. Everyone we worked with has been so pleasant and professional. We interviewed several companies off Angie's List and although Family Heating and Cooling wasn't the highest nor the lowest quote we received, we choose them for the replacement. Sitting through all those interviews to obtain quotes, I could say was a little painful. We DIDN'T feel like we were with a car salesman with David from Family Heating and Cooling. They took the time to listen to us and they make suggestions to us that none of the other providers made. We did call them to come out and check the ac unit before we turned it on for the first time this spring and they responded back to us in short order. Almost half a year later we are still very pleased and would recommend them.

I spent a little over $7000. It works well, I'm pleased with the equipment they chose and they've been very good about taking care of things so I'm very pleased with them. I liked that he worked hard, he went out of his way to get extra information for me but he didn't have to and not knowing if I was going to buy from him or not. If he worked hard to get my business he worked hard to keep me too. It's a small family business who stand behind their work.

It turned out good. They were here a week after I purchased the big deal. I did the big deal and went ahead and purchased the service agreement.

Scheduling was done quickly and he arrived right on time. We had questions and he answered everything with no problems. He did a good job, cleaned up well and serviced the unit.

Rick came out within an hour of my call. He was professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. The price was very fair. I strongly recommend this company!

Our furnace was running a couple of degrees below the setting on the thermostat. Thinking it just needed a tune-up, I purchased an Angie's List deal and waited for the company to get in touch. The next morning the house wouldn't get above 62. I called and left a message and received a call back within a couple of hours. Marcus came to our house later that afternoon and diagnosed and fixed the problem for us without charging anything more than the Angie's List deal even though we really needed a different service than I had ordered. He was friendly, professional, and helped me understand the issues that we were having with the furnace and ways to prevent problems in the future given our particular make and model. We will certainly call them again for future maintenance and service.
