One of our 14-year old garage door openers failed on a Saturday evening. I searched Angie's list for deals and installers and left messages with several of them. Nathan responded to my query on Sunday and confirmed that he would install two openers as listed in the Angie's list on-line deal. I had several questions about the specific opener based on a few Internet reviews noting some problems with this specific model. Nathan was able to answer all of my questions and assure me as to the performance of this model based on many installs done by Perfection. Based on the inability to open one of our two garage doors, he was able to schedule a service call for Tuesday morning. Since both prior garage door openers were of similar age, we decided to use the Angie's list published deal and replace both openers. The installer, James, was punctual and arrived at the beginning of the two hour window referenced by Nathan. James was very professional and efficient during the installation. He completely removed the old units and installed the new units (rail, opener, door sensors, wiring, wall units and wireless exterior remote. James programmed all four remotes and the wireless external unit, then went through instruction on use of the openers / warranty / etc. He was very thorough in his clean-up and removed the old units with his truck. The installation was efficient and completed in a timely manner, with James answering all questions and ensuring we were satisfied with the installation and performance. We were extremely pleased with the prompt response and scheduling of a service visit by Nathan, and the professionalism of the installation by James.

The work was done well. Fast. Cleaned.

We were trying to get our garage doors to last a little longer and Perfection helped us do that. I had never heard of them, but they did all they said and even came back free of charge to replace the sensors because sunlight was interfering with the operation. They went above and beyond and that was with an Angie's List coupon! I will definitely use them again!

I was very impressed with Nathan. He arrived at the house and did an inspection and was able to tell us that the openers and parts were all in good shape. The house is 10 years old and we wanted to make sure all was working well. He made some adjustments to the springs and did maintenance -- recommended that we not replace a couple items at this time which was great to know we can trust that he won't recommend service that isn't necessary. We will definitely call Nathan for regular service and for replacements when needed! We are very pleased.

Everything went well. The contractor came out, diagnosed my issue as a broken gear inside the opener and then fixed it and also installed a keypad for me

Originally contacted Nathan, the owner, about a new door and opener. The old one was damaged some time back, was popping, had bad seals and the opener was working intermittently. The first quote was for a basic metal door with an alright R-factor along a chain drive opener ($1040 with chain drive Liftmaster and outdoor pad) We went to the website to look at doors (CHI Doors I believe) and my wife picked out a carriage type door with windows with a R16 rating (40% more but well worth the money as it keeps the garage very warm) We have a playroom above the garage and Nathan recommenced the Liftmaster belt-drive. The dogs can't even hear the garage door anymore. Very quiet and worth the extra money. Received 6-8 inches of snow that day and were still on time and installed in 3.5 hours. Very professional throughout. Nathan ordered the door and was extremely helpful. Made several calls and returned my calls promptly through the process. Highly recommend them. Will use them in the future.

Nathan arrived within a couple of hours after we called on a snowy Sunday afternoon. He had the springs replaced and the garage door open within minutes. His price was very reasonable, especially considering it was an emergency and outside of normal business hours. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

I purchased this for my father in law for a home they had recently moved in to. They were having some small issues with the garage door and needed a reputable company to come out and take a look. Perfection Garage Doors did a great job of giving them an explanation of the issue they were having and had a quick and easy fix. Always good to know that I can send a company to a family member and trust that they'll take care of them.

Our 22 year old builder basic garage door opener finally died. The equally old and rotting garage door was in need of replacement also. Nathan responded to the phone call quickly, supplied a competitive quote, and was able to schedule the installation/removal within two days. The technician arrived within the time window and was courteous, friendly, and professional. Installation included a new door with nylon rollers, track, belt drive opener, external keypad, internal lift button, sensors, two vehicle FOB's, training, removal of old door, track, opener, and and cleanup. From beginning to end, the entire experience was great and at a competitive price. Well done!!

Nathan was fantastic. Came out on a Sunday (we paid about $21 extra) and fixed everything quickly. Very professional and I highly recommend hiring Perfection Garage Doors. Just pressed his info to a coworker!

Perfection Garage Doors did a great job. I thought it was a good deal. The unit was a higher end unit and they were here when they said they were going to be here. They got it done fairly quickly so everything was great with them. It was great on the valley that I got on the unit and the installation and along with the quick installation.

Nathan messaged back within 30 seconds. He said there was no charge to come out and take a look and give an estimate for the job. He scheduled it for the two days later (acceptable to me). He actually showed up the next day! Whoohoo!! The problem was a much simpler fix than either of us thought and on additional request we had can be delayed until the Spring. We were very impressed with his service! I definitely will call them again and I definitely recommend them! (P.S. I msg'd SEVERAL companies at the same time. I've only gotten replies from 2 others...one said they couldn't come out until MAY!!! Nathan has been out less than 12 hours from the time I messaged and has the job fixed!)

The garage door opening mechanism had 2 issues: the bracket that keeps the long metal gantry in place had broken completely so there was nothing to attach it to the wall; the wiring was getting caught on the traveler so it had come apart. At first he said he didn?t have the right bracket, but luckily found something that worked, so he fixed it and then fixed the wiring. After a test ?drive? it still wasn?t quite right so he adjusted the proximity switch and it worked great.

After leaving a message, Nathan called me back within 5 minutes. Nathan and his coworker were at our house within one hour of calling, exactly when he said they would be. They worked efficiently and got the garage door springs replaced and the doors tuned up in about 35 minutes. Very nice guys who appear to have done excellent work. There is also a 2-year warranty on their work and they gave us a discount because we were Angie's List members!

I set up an appointment by e-mail more than a week ago. I then took off work to meet the person and they never showed up, called or e-mailed to let me know they were not going to be able to make it.

It only took them about an hour and they did a great job. He was very pleasant and answered all of my questions which was appreciated.

They overdelivered every step of the way. First they talked us through how to get the door open the rest of the way so that we could get our cars out and go to work. Then they arrived slightly ahead of schedule (and less than 24 hours after our original call on a Sunday) and quickly made the repair to the opener. As they were leaving, I remembered that our keyless entry had been working sporadically and asked if they could also repair that. They didn't have any keypads with them, so they had another technician stop by later that day at a time that was very convenient for me and replace it then. He then stayed and walked me through the programming of the keypad. And they didn't charge any labor for the additional visit. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them highly.

I checked Angie's List and placed a call to three highly rated companies and Perfection Garage Doors called back within minutes and offered a Sunday service call. They arrived within the hour and took care of the problem. Our home is old and so is the garage door. The tension spring that broke was not one they usually keep on the truck because of the age of the door; however, he was able to replace it with a suitable spring that would be a temporary fix until new springs were ordered. I've already set a date for those to be installed. The service, the tech and the follow up was great. It's a very snowy cold winter and I was able to get the car back into the garage quicker than I expected I would. They provided service above and beyond.

The price and quality are great. Very nice people and did a terrific job! We will be using them again when we replace our patio doors.

I called a couple of places before I called Perfection. Nathan was the only one able to come within a couple days; the others said they couldn't make it for a few days. After I described the problem over the phone, Nathan knew over the phone what was wrong! He said the gears needed to be replaced. He came and replaced the gears and got the door working again. It took about 45 minutes. The cost was reasonable, he gave me an Angie's member discount, and I didn't have to pay a trip charge. The door has continued to work quite well.

The provider arrived on time and performed the services in a very efficient manner. He was very courteous and appeared to do exactly what was promised.

I called Perfection on a Friday night after 5pm, because when I arrived home from work my garage door wouldn't open. Upon further inspection, I found the spring was broken. Nathan called me back within the hour and scheduled an appointment for me the next morning. He gave me an hour's window of when he would arrived. Called 20 minutes ahead of time to tell me he was enroute. He was pleasant and friendly - even taking time to make nice with my schnauzer. He immediately went to work and had all the supplies he needed to complete the job. Within a short time the repair was completed and he fixed a couple of other minor issues with my door. I highly recommend his company for anyone in need of service. If I have a future need, he will be at the top of my list for a service call.

Slightly disappointed that they assumed the garage door size rather than asking and thus weren't able to do the job on the initial appointment. However, the technician returned the next day with the needed materials and was extremely helpful. Went above and beyond trying to sync the opener with my car (though ultimately unsuccessful).

In response to my questions about replacing my garage doors, I received a reasonable estimate. I was not pressured to buy the doors immediately and I was given a booklet with specifications and photos to guide me in making a decision. | |I will contact this service provider when I am ready to replace the doors.
