When I purchased my home, I hired FPS to perform some "light" remodeling prior to moving in. During the remodeling, we discovered significant issues with the home that were previously unknown. The issues that we uncovered (mold, water damage, structural issues, code violations) required EXTENSIVE remediation and reconstruction to render the property habitable. Some of the issues were of an urgent nature. This created a very stressful situation for our family. The owner of FPS, Marc Fairchild, helped us understand the issues at hand and was both timely and professional in helping us navigate the remediation and subsequent reconstruction over an 8+ month period. In addition, Marc was very kind and compassionate to our family throughout the project(s) as this unforeseen situation created both financial and legal hardships. In addition, Marc has the most detailed documentation process of any contractor I have ever worked with. His level of documentation and detail has been absolutely vital throughout these projects. Some of the issues required emergency remediation that Marc and FPS addressed swiftly and efficiently. Marc coordinated with multiple subcontractors, creating a seamless process for us. In the end, the FPS team demolished the entire finished basement, worked with a subcontractor to remediate the mold issues and rebuilt the entire basement (starting from and including the studs). They took it from the concrete walls to a fully finished basement in several months. This included updated HVAC venting, installation of new egress window, updated plumbing, building a functional living space (completed with beautiful vinyl barnwood flooring) and installing a full bathroom and closet. We are very happy with the basement. It looks beautiful and is now a fully functional and safe place for our family. The FPS team also demolished the sunroom floor to perform crawl space remediation and reconstruction and address water issues in the space. They replaced some of the structural elements that had become damaged and installed a beautiful new tile floor as well as several new doors. The FPS team demolished living room built-ins and coordinated with a subcontractor to replace old carpet with hardwood. We found a large wood beam in an old barn. The FPS team took the beam that we found and used it to fabricate a new fireplace mantel. They modernized the staircase and installed new hardware throughout the house (hinges, door handles, locks, etc.). They installed 3 new doors (one exterior, two interior). They installed a new tile laundry room floor and installed the washer and dryer. They hung all of the items on the wall that were too heavy for us to hang by ourselves (everything is perfectly measured and centered). They installed an antique chandelier and replaced the great room ceiling fan. Marc and the FPS team are the best contractors I have ever worked with. The entire crew is professional and respectful. The majority of work (~7 months) was conducted prior to us moving in the home. The last month of construction was finished after we moved in. During that time, the crew was very thoughtful about minimizing the impact of ongoing activities to our family. Throughout the many projects, we only had a few minor issues. Initially I was unhappy with the look of the fireplace mantel and the staircase spindles. FPS fixed both to my satisfaction and at their expense. On one occasion, one of the workers accidentally left the gate open and our dogs ran away. When we discovered this, the worker stopped what he was doing at another property and immediately returned to our house. He was apologetic and helped us search for several hours until we found the dogs. I was so grateful to the FPS staff for making things right in these situations. I already have several additional projects lined up with FPS in the coming year. Whenever I need anything related to my home, FPS is my first call. My advice to others....FPS is excellent which means that their schedule books up quickly. If you are looking to get some work done, I recommend that you call at least 3-4 weeks in advance.

Full on kitchen remodel. Estimating and finalizing layout was great and the team was patient with us on final details. Mark and Matt and the team were fantastic to work with and went the extra mile. Finishing was superb cleanup was great. The wife is happy and so am I. Really upgraded our home. Thank you!

I am very pleased with the work that was performed, from the estimating process to the completion of the project. I received a detailed estimate with pictures detailing the work that needed to be performed. The project included removal of deteriorated wood trim, cut, prime, and paint replacement pieces. Areas needing repair were the Gutter fascia, Dormers, and Rake trim boards. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional and were great to work with. The work went as scheduled and I am happy to say, there were no surprises. Very pleased with the project!

Marc, Patrick, and team did a phenomenal job repairing the rotten trim on not only my home but two other family members who live nearby. We had an added challenge of trying to get the work completed before the painters working in the neighborhood left ... and they rose to the challenge and made it all work! We are very please with the end result, attention to detail, professionalism, and great communication.

We worked with this company over a 10 month period and during this time we found them to be fair, honest, highly skilled, and an overall great partner. The companies that Marc connected us with on aspects of the projects were also very skilled and professional. Marc presented us with options and alternatives as we made decisions on the projects. He also represented us well when interacting with the insurance company for the roof replacement. Marc is extremely organized with his invoices, estimates, and I really appreciated the pictures of the work to be done that he attached to the estimates. In two occasions, I used these pictures to justify the work needed to our home owners association. I truly appreciated his partnership and would recommend him very much.

They took on all of the repairs to my home and remodeled it top-to-bottom from November thru March. Marc’s attention to detail and professionalism was top notch, and he and his team transformed my house into a virtually “brand new” beautiful home that I was able to sell in just “one” day for top dollar! I cannot say enough good things about their work and what a “joy” they were to work with! I highly recommend Marc and his team!

You will not find a more conscientious or more thorough and fairly priced contractor around. I love his staff too. Whether it's the drywaller the painter, the electrician or he himself, they are all courteous, and methodical and punctual and clean up their messes. I trust them even to come if I'm not here. Using Fairchild Property Services to remodel my parents home was the best decision I ever made! From start to finish, Fairchild Property Services did an incredible job. They were attentive to details and getting everything right. The end result of this huge project was professional--even better than what we had envisioned! They created a beautiful home for my parents that they are safe in, comfortable in, and proud to live in. Beyond doing high quality work at a very reasonable price, everyone at Fairchild Property Services made us feel like family. We felt valued and important throughout the process. Communication was easy and ongoing, and they stayed on schedule. I have continued to use Fairchild Property Services for smaller projects and continue to be impressed by their work. Had an excellent experience with Marc & his team. Both Patrick & Anthony are very trustworthy, reliable, & patient. There were some unforeseen issues that the guys found & in no time at all they were able to come up with a plan & keep the work affordable. After the work was completed there were some nail pops to be fixed. Alex then came out & fixed them in a matter of no time. Also Kelsee is great at getting a schedule worked out & trying to keep things on track.

Excellent. The company was an advocate for me and worked closely with the insurance company to make sure that all issues caused by the event were captured and repaired fairly and quickly. Took extra time to discuss the work with me and my wife. We were informed on every piece of work and whenever we had questions there was a timely answer. There were no surprises during the process, in fact they presented worse case scenarios to us so there would not be added unforeseen costs. We understood that that was always a possibility but the team from Fairchild worked hard to be ahead of all potential problems or issues. The crews were on time, communicated well on scheduling and very professional and courteous. The estimates were clear and detailed and the billing process was smooth. The project came in just under budget, with the work quality excellent. We would recommend Fairchild to friends and family and have used them since for other projects. They come with our highest recommendation.

It was awesome--Marc and his team came in with great ideas for how to lay out a tight space. We moved a couple of walls, moved the shower, sink, toilet, everything. The quality of the work was absolutely top-notch. Marc and everyone who worked on the bathroom was reliable, kind, respectful, and wonderful to deal with. FPS IS my go-to contractor for remodels big and small! HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic company! Every crew member is professional, creative, and genuinely nice - very important qualities when doing a weeks-long remodel. They were responsive to my concerns, and creative with the inevitable problem solving that comes with remodeling. One of our bathrooms was a complete remodel and the other was a partial, and they did an excellent job in both situations. Don't hesitate to call Fairchild!

Fairchild Properties did an excellent job. Marc, the owner, helped me with my bathroom design. He had so many great ideas for the bathroom that I did not think of. I got a beautiful remodeled bathroom. The contractors were professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves. The job actually got done ahead of schedule. I love the finish work. I would definitely recommend them!

I gave Marc Fairchild 13,500. I got no receipt for 1 to 2 months. He talked about his faith in Christ and his recovery issues and made it clear that his life was new and precious to himself. He tried to get me to sign a contract after he went through all of my money stating that he was done and there is so many issues that are not fixed that it makes us cry sometimes when we open a door. Even locks were put on from the inside of closet doors because they simply did not pay attention to what they were doing. Wood is split in my doors, electrical problems that range from one end to another like light fixtures that are not properly placed and or missing. Paint drips down the walls, walls are currently splitting and doors that were put in are not secure because of splits down t he wood when they hammered nails in and they just left it that way. We can not even sit on our couch and not be hurt over looking at the paint. He left trash all over our yard and destroyed a rose garden completely by his trucks running over them all. I trusted Marc because of his recovery and alleged faith. I feel stupid at age 47 that I would give this man 13,500 with out a signed contract and he actually wanted me to sign a paper giving him over 12 more the same day with all of the horrible issues with my home with out me even going inside to look over my home... Its beyond my comprehension how he can use people like this in the name of Jesus and not feel ashamed of what he is doing.

Everything went great, all repairs were made on time. Quoting process was straight-forward; Marc always got back to us right away to answer our questions or set scheduling. We were very pleased with the timeliness of the repairs and his quick responses.

The work went very well. All of the work was well done and actually exceeded expectations. Marc Fairchild was prompt and professional and excellent to deal with . His employees were also very competent and performed great work, Marc was always quick to respond and gave thorough estimate and his estimates were always very accurate. I would recommend Fairchild Properties to anyone who needs work done on their house.

The team from Fairchild was efficient and pleasant to work with. The finished results look great and the price was reasonable. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

My Realtor provided their name. Marc emailed me Sunday, came out Monday, they installed Tuesday. The opening frame was not straight, no surprise since no door there before. They had to remove some flooring and re install. They had to cut some 2 X 4's and extra stuff they did not plan on to make the opening square. They climbed the attic ladder to get the extra flooring pieces so my husband and I would not have to. (he is not well). They vacuumed as they went and as contractors go they were almost too neat. LOL. Professional, courteous, efficient and the workmanship is stellar. They are now my permanent go to company for all things home repair/build.
