Extreme Green Foam Insulation LLC

Terrible experience with Extreme Green. Horrible customer service and even worse foam product. Installed foam 12/2023 and paint started bubbling up and peeling off the walls in February 2024. The area started small, but grew larger over time. When asked to provide a technical explanation as to WHY their product is seeping through the wall and peeling off EVERY layer of paint, I was yelled at by Keith, the General Manager, blaming the paint on my 70+ year old home. No further communication from Extreme Green on a cause or a resolution. Extreme Green foam insulation has ruined my home and possibly created a risk to my family's health. The person who recommended this company had the SAME issue. The paint bubbled up and peeled off the wall in EVERY room where the insulation was installed.

Extreme green insulated my attic and walls of my house the first week of June this year 2023. I had been complaining about high energy costs with Duke Energy. I cancelled my budget billing plan with them at $280 per month and mid July got my first bill after insulation of $109. I was thrilled. Hadn’t seen that number on a light bill for MANYyears. It is still early on and I will know better after winter. However I really liked the team that did the work. Kevin and Nate were super nice and professional and did a great job. My heat pump hardly ever kicks on and it used to run nonstop. I don’t hear as much outside noise in the neighborhood either. Kind of soundproofed the firecrackers this year. As it stands today insulating with Extreme Green has been one of my best moves as a homeowner.

So I have been waiting to write a review to see how well the company treated their customers after they finished the job and I’m not happy at all. In the beginning they seemed like they k ew what they where talking about, but after the three times they have been out it’s been horrendous. I’ve been lied to by the manager and crew about follow ups that where suppose to happen, about the walls that where damaged in my house because of their incompetence. Plus to top it off my bills haven’t changed a bit. This company is shady as h***. If your looking yo get a professional job done I urge you to go with someone else. They take your money and don’t follow through with their warranty. Buyers beware

The first crew did such a crappy job that there was.no change in our heating or cooling bills. It took 2 years to get them back out after complaining several times. The 2nd crew injected twice as much insulation and ever since we have been comfortable in out home and our heating and cooling bills have cut in half. We are still waiting for the reimbursement the manager said he would get for us for 2 years of high heating and cooling bils because of an inept crew.

They were great, very quick, seemed to be knowledgeable and were respectful and professional. He priced out the insulation two different ways per my request.

Extreme Green came out and foamed my home and insulated my attic last year. I waited to post a review until I had the opportunity to see how well it worked. I was very pleased with their crew when they came out to my house, they were very nice and very professional. After giving it about a year now, I can say that my electric would usually average $160 to $200 a month, it now averages around $90 to $120 a month. Also, my comfort level has really improved, it made a night and day difference to the comfort of my home. I could actually feel the difference right after they insulated my home. Also, my air conditioner and furnace used to run all the time, now they run about half as much. Overall, the extreme green foam in my walls and the attic insulation has lowered my utilities and has really improved the comfort level of my home. I highly recommend Extreme Green Foam Insulation, they did a wonderful job on my home.
