They missed a few areas, master bedroom ceiling fan had huge layers of dust, staircase still had huge layers of dust, I had ask to ask them to redo the downstairs kitchen cabinets. Walking through the home trim was missed, baseboards, door handles were all missed.

+ -1 moreWe have used their services for almost 10 years and are very satisfied. The crew does a thorough job and adds some extra "nice" touches. I've also always been impressed by the owner, Sue Webb---she has been extremely accommodating when we have needed to modify our regular cleaning schedule (every other week). I can think of only one occasion when the cleaning crew broke something, and it was only a small inexpensive votive candle, but the owner contacted me right away to report it and offered to replace it. I have recommended this company to neighbors and other family members.
Description of Work: On their first visit they did a very thorough heavy cleaning throughout the house. After that the crew is scheduled every other week and they always clean the main floor plus one additional floor (alternating between the basement and the second floor).

+ -1 moreTheir cleaning crews are very friendly and do a thorough cleaning each week. We have very few issues with them. The one time a room was not vacuumed before they left to complete another job in a hurry. After I called and informed them, they showed up promptly the next day to complete the work they overlooked. They have always been willing to help with little occasion extra issues, like helping me clean the garage refrigerator that had a soda can explode in it once. Our only negative times have been when the cleaning crew comes later in the day and the kids are home from school trying to complete projects or homework and everyone is in everyone's way. But this is a rare issue and is just worked through each time and we are usually warned when the crew gets scheduled later than usual.. So we can plan accordingly.
Description of Work: Executive Home Service has been cleaning our house on a weekly basis for several years now. They do a very good thorough job each week. We have occasionally used them to clean our carpets as well and it is a competitively priced cleaning and they have always done a good job, especially with stain removal.

+ -1 moreWhile EXHS is not the most thorough clean, they seem to be the best value. Since I am home during the service, I can catch things that are missed before they leave. I have had a few disappointments, including a period of being overcharged and appointment times changing randomly. She has made some last minute changes on my behalf, so I do appreciate the flexibility. I have also had a few items broken. While they were replaced or credited promptly, no apology was offered.
Description of Work: EXHS has cleaned my home for several years, including floors, dusting, vacuuming and bathrooms.

+ -1 moreOverall it was a positive experience despite some frustrating experiences.
Description of Work: We used EXHS for many years. The girls, and guys on occasion, were very pleasant though most didn't speak much English at all. However, there was always one person out of the three who could speak and understand English. Overall the girls did a nice job, sometimes much better than others. I usually left a list prioritizing things to be done. They were timely on arrival which was good and I trusted them to the degree you can trust strangers in your house. We have an older home and live by a cornfield so things get dustier faster, along with the fact we have pets. When we first started, we had three dogs so floors were always a priority. Unfortunately, floors are the last thing to be cleaned so that job was many times rushed due to the nature of the job, but usually I felt like they had done their best. What bothered me the most was always having to clear table tops etc because they won't move your pile of magazines, books whatever. I kept saying feel free to move things on the tables, but due to fear of breakage, of which there was some, it didn't happen. Without going into all the details, I would say I think the service is best for those who want and keep to an exact day of the week, etc. With that you are more likely to get the same crew which is really nice if you like that crew. There are lots of good people/companies out there so choose one that fits your lifestyle and your needs is the best.

+ 0 moreI have been using them for years. They are trustworthy, thorough and they are better than most I have used before. They are fine and superior in their cleaning versus other companies that I have used. I like the way they function and I am able to have the same team out each time so I don’t have new people going through the home. I like the stability and the consistency of the team. I find the owners very easy to work with and very pleasant. The only downside is that some of them don’t speak English. The husband does the carpet cleaning and the wife does the housecleaning for me. The owner cleans the carpets himself and he is dependable, honest trustworthy and knowledgeable. He uses up to date and latest equipments. He is easy to work with; he is prompt, timely, and good. He has been able to remove spots and take care of the problem areas in my carpets.

+ -1 moreThree people arrived and worked for a little over 4 hours, cost is $90 per hour. My wife was working upstairs and came down to pay them when they said they were finished. They were paid and left. Upon looking around the home after they left my wife discovered several areas that were not cleaned at all. She call the owner and let her know of her discontent, Susan said she would send them back to re-do things that were not cleaned properly. They returned again and we are still finding areas that are not clean, or things like streaky glass, dirt and dust. We have our home in Arizona cleaned by one lady and she charge $60 for the job and does an extremely nice job. I realize Carmel is not Arizona and we expect to pay more, but not 6 times more for a lousy job. The people doing the cleaning said they think they had dirty cloths and that is what caused the problem! Seems like an easy fix to me then, WASH THE CLOTHS PRIOR TO USING THEM!

+ -1 moreResponse to the provider. There was ABSOLUTELY NO CLUTTER LEFT ON THE CARPETS WHEN Joe CAME TO CLEAN the CARPETS!!!!! WE SPENT MANY HOURS GETTING READY FOR BOTH YOUR CLEANERS AND THE CARPET GUY...LIVING IN OUR HOTEL UNTIL IT WAS CLEANED. Period. And there IS pet damage (urine) even though Joe assured me we were fine. We have to have the carpets replaced. Re: the cleaning service: I might have been able to write this off as an exhausted crew not doing their normal job. However, this provider's response now leaves me to believe that she will say/do anything for business. If you have a complicated, big cleaning job, I suggest FIRST GET an estimator TO COME BY. The estimate was provided via phone...my mistake for allowing this. In addition, she left her crew to figure out what to do, and now she is misrepresenting the situation. I am ALWAYS willing to give people the benefit of doubt...even tipping the "detail person" for something that should have been done the first go around and knowing that she didn't get it all. I felt sorry for them...this was a very difficult job. I didn't see the need in asking for more help because I didn't believe it would matter. Third time wasn't the charm, why would a forth matter. Best of luck.
Description of Work: I hired this service specifically for a move-out/move-in cleaning. The company profile indicated specializing in move-outs/move-ins. Our situation was dire and the owner knew this upfront. I explained that I needed a VERY detailed-oriented crew who would be able to clean an EMPTY house, but one that was VERY dirty. Our tenant left behind what appeared to be 4 years of dirt and grime on nearly every conceivable surface; so much that our family could not return to our home and instead needed to move into a hotel until it was professionally cleaned. I relied heavily on the owner's assurance that her service had seen it all and could handle it. It has been 4 days and I'm STILL finding dirt and grime in places that $657.50 worth of cleaning should have mitigated. It is very disappointing since my family has been unwittingly living with the filth since we moved out of our hotel. It might have helped if the owner had bothered to come out ahead of the crew to give them a detailed list of everything that needed done. I just assumed that she explained the situation to her employees. In addition to the poor service, the explanation provided by the husband/co-owner for the poor quality cleaning during the first go 'round was that their help is from "different countries." Accordingly, when these people work together, there are many personality conflicts, which the company has to manage. Frankly, I don't care what the company's personnel issues are. I paid a SIZEABLE cleaning fee and I expected perfection. I did NOT get perfection. I will say they sent a "detail person" around the next day to take care of many areas the first crews missed. She was sweet, but hardly got everything. If you are looking for a standard cleaning, you'll probably be fine. $90 per hour is a fair price for a crew of 3, but this company is not equipped to handle big jobs or ones that require a high level of detail. Because of this experience, I will be looking for another company to handle our regular bi-weekly cleanings. (Note: I used the carpet cleaning service as well...not exactly impressed with the level of service there either. A great sales pitch and a fair cleaning, but I didn't appreciate that he dumped the dirty water directly into the city sewers. If that act isn't a environmental waste disposal violation, it certainly should be.)
