It was a really poor experience. I believe that Enterprise Electrical must have more business than they can handle and certainly do not cater to small businesses.
Description of Work: I had a service contract with Enterprise Electrical which was in place for over 4 years. I paid a quarterly fee to have the heating and air conditioning unit checked and cleaned four times a year. I paid $75 each quarter. This past summer, approximately 2 weeks after the regular visit by the technician, my air conditioning went out. I called, and Enterprise sent someone out. They said the filters were dirty and there was a part on the system (it's on the roof of my building and I cannot go up to check this) that was damaged and needed to be replaced. I asked how long it looked like the damage had been there, and he said it looked like it had been there a while. He gave me an estimate of the labor and parts for this entire repair of $408. I then called customer service to tell them I felt that my regular cleaning of the filters really didn't happen since the tech that day told me they were dirty and if I was paying a maintenance fee and if someone was doing their job, this problem would have been identified two weeks prior. They agreed, and said they would not charge me for the labor or one quarter of my fees, which made my estimate around $125 rather than the $408. I agreed to this. They performed the work, and everything was fine for another week until the air went out again. I called, and said someone needed to come out, but that I wasn't paying for any further service or parts. They came out and fixed everything and it was fine. I then started getting the invoice for the original $408 plus an additional charge for the second service call to fix the air the second time. I called and told them this was not the expected amount and customer service said they would have to get management to approve the reduction of fees again, which now totaled over $575. They would not reduce any of this amount and I told them about the original discounted amount, which he did acknowledge was in the notes in my file. Finally, after they refused to charge me less than the entire amount, I paid the amount and canceled my service. After over 4 years being a customer, I feel the entire situation was handled poorly to say the least.
