Description of Work: Called for an estimate and he came out and mailed me a quote. Talked to him on the phone and explained my dilemma. Even though I did not use his services he was very polite. I appreciate that he did respond with an estimate.

Description of Work: We had a water main leak which appeared to be on the outside of the house, they located the leak for us and recommended a team to resolve our issue since the leak was under our slab. They did a great job, it was in Feb and the temp was sub-zero during this time.

Description of Work: English needed to remove the old incoming waterline as it had a major leak. They then replaced it with a new line and installed a meter pit outside the older home. They did a great job and kept all of their commitments in a most professional manner. This is the second time I have used their services and would do so in the future.

Description of Work: They dug and replaced the sewer line from house to street. Approximately 65 feet. They were professional and cleaned up and once they started they were done in only a few hours. Would recommend to anyone!

Description of Work: Replaced sewer pipe between house and street. They did a nice job. The mound of dirt left in yard was very high compared to when my neighbors had it done. I really liked them and would refer them to friends.

Description of Work: I called English Excavating to get a second opinion / quote regarding a major sewer repair. I spoke with Mark English. Mark took the time to speak with me at length offering significant insight to my possible problem and excellent advice. It was quite obvious that Mark was more interested in helping me to solve my potential problem than simply getting another "job". Mark actually went as far to recommend I take a "wait and see" approach in lieu of spending thousands of addtional dollars. It was refreshing and be assured if and when I need work, they will be high on my list.

I CALLED THE COMPANY, MICK (VP) WAS OUT OF THE OFFICE AND HE WOULD CALL ME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. HE DID CALL THE NEXT DAY AND WAS WILLING TO COME OUT THAT DAY. DUE TO MY SCHEDULING CONFLICTS HE CAME OUT THE DAY AFTER. GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $2800. A WEEK LATER HE CALLED BACK TO SEE IF I HAD DECIDED ON ANYONE AND SAID HE WOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT FOR ONLY $1500, BUT UNFORTUNATELY SOMEONE ALREADY BID THAT AND THE WORK WAS BEING COMPLETED THE DAY HE CALLED ME BACK. MICK WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND APPRECIATE HIS FOLLOW-UP!

THIS WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE OTHER BID I GOT WAS FOR $3800. MICK ENGLISH NOTIFIED ME IN ADVANCE OF THE WORK AND KEPT ME INFORMED ON THE PROGRESS. HIS CREW DID A GOOD JOB AND SEEMED TO GO THE EXTRA MILE DIGGING UNDER A PORCH IN ORDER TO SAVE ME EXTRA EXPENSE.
