Description of Work: They unloaded a large U-Haul truck and trailer and placed items (some boxed, some furniture) where instructed. There were some heavy items that had to go upstairs and thru a narrow hallway, and they handled everything professionally and adeptly. I would absolutely recommend them and will call them again in the future if the need arises.

Description of Work: They moved a treadmill from the basement to the first floor and had to dismantle the whole thing in order to get it through the doorways. They were great and didn't give up even tho it was a tricky task. I love Emery Movers.

Description of Work: Emery Movers moved us from the South Bend area to Fishers IN. They packed the kitchen and breakables for us the same day as the move. They arrived a couple hours later than expected, but did call to let us know they were running late. All items arrived safely and the overall process went well.

Description of Work: They moved all furniture from old house to new house and it made the move SO much easier. We moved the boxes the next weekend and it was perfect. We had all the beds taken apart therefore saving time and they got it all moved with only an extra hour on their 375 coupon. Glad we used them.

Description of Work: They picked up a commercial kegarator from an apartment and brought it to my home and set it up in the basement as a surprise for my husband. They were punctual (even though the roads are bad and weather is less then ideal). They even layed down blankets so not to track in snow and were very careful not to ding up any wall or damage my stairs as they went into the basement. They were very kind and respectful and I would use them again if I needed movers

Description of Work: In the process of moving, we expected to need help moving washer and dryer along with heavy couches. And so we purchased this "big deal" to allow the professionals to do the heavy lifting. Over Memorial Weekend, we were able to do 100% of the moving ourselves. Thus, we no longer are in need of their services - there is nothing left for them to move. Since we have no plans on moving again any time soon, there is no need to keep this deal. I have contacted the company and they are in agreement so the appointment has been cancelled and they are waiting and expecting for the refund request to be received. Overall, this company is wonderful to work with and we would not hesitate to contract with them in the future. Please process my request to refund the $375

Description of Work: We used Emery to move last August to a temporary rental home. We got their names from Angie's List and used them mostly because they were one of the top rated. Our experience was excellent. The price was very good. They were on time and worked hard. When we moved again last week (Nov. 20th) we called them again. Our August move was into a 3 story home which was not easy. Last week we were moving from a 3 story home into a 3 story non-residential property whose stairs were longer and in some cases steeper than found in most homes. It was a very difficult job and when they realized it was more than the original crew could handle, they called for help and we ended up with more movers - including the owner. Nothing we asked for was too much. They couldn't have been nicer. They charged more this time and that was definitely appropriate.

Description of Work: The movers were very slow and took more than 4 hours to pack a kitchen and two closets. They were supposed to pack a bathroom but informed they would be back the next day to pack the bathroom so we could shower in the morning. When they come back the next day the movers did not bring any boxes preventing them from packing any of teh items they missed the day before. The move was estimated to take 8 hours but took 12 hours becuase the movers did not plan loading the truck proposerly so we had to pay for them to load the truck, unload the truck and reload the truck in addition to teh retunr trip to the house for the some of teh items they could not fit. They did not move all of the items from the house which required my husband and I to go back to the house on 3 seperate trips to get the remaining items. This was on top of all the boxes that my husband I moved throughout the day becuase the movers would ask where to put a box, set it down and walk away for a break. They complained about having to move the furniture, gave a ton of attitude about mislabeled boxes (that they packed but did not label) and damaged doors and doorways throughout the moving process. When my husband called the office on Monday, the manager apologized and refunded $200. It was not enough to make up for the horrible move experience.

Description of Work: I am staging my home so my basement had to be emptied. They hauled items and boxes from my basement to my storage unit. I had 50 to 60 items and 4 metal shelves plus some misc items. It took them about 2 hours to complete the job. The priced the work in a 3 hours incriment but gave me a discount due to Angies List and another discount due to the low number of items. Two people did the job. They were friendly and worked diligently. Would definately hire them again.

Description of Work: My daughter took a job and needed to move with little notice. I called Emery's 4 days before we needed to load a rental truck and fortunately Daphne had two men available. Daphne was extremely helpful on the phone. We needed to load the truck first with most belongings and furniture from a storage unit. A two piece sofa from the storage unit had to be moved into my home and my daughters bedroom and other belongings had to be moved out of the house into the truck. The men were on time and worked very quickly and efficiently, loading the truck and being very careful with everything. My daughter is very particular about her belongings and raved about their professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Description of Work: The guys arrived on time and did a great job! The moved my entire house very quickly. I had stuff going to an apartment and stuff going to storage and they separated everything and loaded it onto two separated trucks. Then, I asked them if they would mind making a stop by Goodwill since it was on the way to the apartment to deliver lots of boxes and a very heave piece of furniture because it had to be out of my house before closing and they were very helpful to do so. I have used these people in the pst and I will do so in the future. I would recommend them to anyone. They are currently storing my furniture and other belongings.

Description of Work: Emery's met me at Sam's Club to deliver a new King size mattress, dispose of my old mattress and box springs at my house. Emery's also moved some furniture around my house for me. They did a great job and met me on time. The guys were so nice they even brought my trash cans up to the house.
