Description of Work: They moved me from NE of Indy to Brownsburg (to a storage unit). They sent one large truck and 3 guys. I already had a storage unit that was 1/3 full. We all the boxes/items in the garage ready to get put on the truck and the rest was furniture that needed to be carried downstairs. I followed them out and went ahead once on the interstate. They did get lost, so I'm not sure how much time that was (I don't think much). Once at the storage unit, I thought they would be packing everything in, but besides the furniture, my boyfriend and I stacked all boxes, they just carried them in (and part of that was hoping we could get to the 2nd location) Personally felt like they moved slowly (especially when I saw them neatly folding the moving blankets and stacking them neatly on the truck). I ended up paying for 4 hours (and 45 minutes went to the drive to Brownsburg).

Description of Work: Packing took place on Monday,August 17th and move happened on the 19th. The process went very well but what was most impressive is the crew's punctuality and willingness to ask me a question before just stuffing something in a box. I was on a very specific schedule and Daphne was most kind in meeting those needs. Most appreciated! Moving is a very difficult and chaotic undertaking but Emery's Moving made it all go smoothly and on schedule.

Description of Work: They arrived a little late (but it wasn't their fault, they hit traffic from construction). They brought two HUGE trucks and four hard workers. They did a great job and worked hard. At the very end, I think that they were pretty tired because a lot of stuff was left in the garage that should have been put other places, but it wasn't a big deal and we were still happy.

Description of Work: THEY STOLE 2 NEW JACKETS THAT BELONGED TO MY HUSBAND, AND I HAD INSTRUCTED THE MOVERS NOT TO GO INTO THE MASTER BATHROOM (nothing to move in there & my purse, and valuable were in there). I showed them 2 other bathrooms that they could use, if needed. However, I CAUGHT 1 OF THE WORKERS IN THE MASTER BATH (he locked the door) - when he came out, MY PURSE WAS OPENED UP and sitting next to the toilet. (I had placed in in the floor on a stack of other items.) I IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED MY DEBIT & CREDIT CARD - that day!! When my daughter moved, we used TWO MEN & A TRUCK -- THEY WERE FAST AND CAREFUL AND NO STEALING -- THE BEST!

Description of Work: Emery Movers had great ratings on Angie's List, so even though they were over 100 miles away, thought I would call them for my internal move, as I rearranged furniture and rooms setups at my residence. |Their dispatcher was super courteous, and resourceful -- she recognized an opportunity when her crew would already be in my area, and then worked in my appointment following that. |The crew was clean, courteous, efficient, and accommodating. |I wish we had a local crew in the area that was this good -- thanks for the service!!
