Emery's was able to schedule the move within a few days of my calling. The movers were on time, and, even though the apartment was on the third floor, they were very pleasant and professional. They also gave us both the Angie's List discount and a senior citizen discount. Would definitely hire them again.

The crew was punctual and the time estimate was dead on. They estimated it would take between 7-8 hrs. and it took 7. The 3 workers were efficient and careful with our belongings. We haven't found any damage yet and the move was almost 2 weeks ago. My only minor complaint was that they underestimated the size of the truck necessary. My husband and I ended up having to move a couple of loads ourselves. Not a big deal but inconvenient. Overall a good company. I would hire them again

The movers started as a 3 man team and one truck, they realized shortly more was needed. After getting our OK they had another man and truck. They were on time, polite, helpful. In addition they alerted us to a water problem in the basement, before the water was on the white carpet.

Mike and Ed arrived on time, went straight to work, and within one hour had completed moving all items and reassembled the desks. I was extremely pleased with the work, they were congenial and the price was right. They were very careful and did a perfect job. I'd highly recommend them to others. I'll use them again.

We requested a two room move because we were having a wedding at the old home and wanted to move out some furniture. They gave us the Angie's List discount for both parts of the move, so the price was awesome. They were very careful with all of our things, we are very pleased with the experience and would recommend them to others.

Their people were on time, helpful and willing to do anything we asked. I have used them three times with the same performance each time.

My initial phone call was promptly answered and all my questions were answered. The 3 men arrived on time and wasted no time in determining what was to be moved. The loaded the furniture efficiently moved it and carried it into the new home, placing it exactly where we wanted it. Nothing was scratched or broken and the men were very polite. I would definitely use them again.

Shaun, Larry, Mike, and Aaron were a great team of four very strong men! They moved us from Batesville, IN to Indianapolis and made deliveries to three locations. When they were a little late in leaving Indy, Shaun called to give us an update and new estimated time of arrival. They worked hard for about 10 hours plus. Care was taken to make sure the items moved, as well as both home locations, made it through the move without damage! We would definitely use them again and will recommend them to our friends.

This was all done in a timely manner. They were courteous. I would use them again. It cost $250 and it would have been more but I used the Angie's List discount.

They were able to commit to the job on a day's notice, which was great! They were on time, polite and got right to work and got the job done in the right amount of time. The estimate given for the work turned out to be the exact amount paid and that was a relief. We would certainly want to use them again for any further moves.

Larry, Terry, and Mike were the crew members assisting us. They were on time, very courteous, and in very good spirits considering our apartment was on the 3rd floor. They loaded in 90 minutes and unloaded in 30, with a 1 hr transit time in between. ''Amount paid'' that is listed in this report is not exact, but give or take $25. The crew was very considerate of where the items were to go in our new house, always asking if we didn't clearly label the items. Not a single box marked fragile had damage, but one piece of furniture get a few scratches. I would definitely use these movers again if we were too move.

They were very responsive and easy to work with from the first phone call all the way throughout the move. The movers were very courteous and took great care not to damage anything. Absolutely nothing was damaged or broken. They were very quick and when they were finished even asked if there was anything else they could move or help with. I would without a doubt use this company again without hesitation.

Shawn and the crew of 4 men worked diligently all day. The move took 10-1/2 hrs. They took very few breaks and stayed busy the entire time. They were very careful with all of our belongings and nothing was damaged. The took extra precautions when they moved our piano over a laminate floor to be sure the floor wasn't damaged by the weight. They did come in slightly over the initial estimate, but I was very pleased with the work and this company. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again if I needed anything moved.

The overall experience was very good from the initial call to the actual move. I had not previously used this company and found them through Angie's List.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY DID FORGET TO PUT A COUPLE OF THINGS BACK TOGETHER WHEN THEY MOVED THEM IN, AND A PIECE WAS MISSING FROM MY TABLE, AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO NOT RECEIVE A RETURN CALL ABOUT THAT. BUT OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD.

THEY WERE EVERY CAREFUL & CONTENTIOUS. IT WAS IN THE 90'S AND HUMID AND IT RAINED. THEY TOOK GREAT CARE NOT TO TRACK IN ON CARPET OR HIT ANY WALLS. MOVE WAS INTO A NEW HOME.

I can't say enough good things about Emery's Movers. They were very polite, friendly, and professional. The 4 men that moved all our things did a wonderful job, and worked quickly and efficiently. This was the first time we have ever hired movers, and were more than pleased. They gave us the Angie's List discount and then some, were on time, and did not damage even one item. Also, our new house wasn't nicked or scratched at all. Don't look any further, because these are the people to hire! Would use them again in a heartbeat.

The owner came to my house to estimate the job after inspection, which I appreciated. The job was underestimated by a couple of hours, but then I DO have a lot of stuff. The staff was polite and professional. They packed the trucks very carefully. I thought it was a bit odd that they put down pads to protect the hardwoods in my NEW house, but didn't bother with the even nicer floors in my OLD house. My main concern was the way I found things placed in the basement ''catch-all room''. For example, the box marked ''Lenox china'' was UNDER a heavy box marked ''hardware''. Other heavy boxes were stacked on top of a delicate antique desk. Fortunately, nothing was broken. The four men worked very hard, but the job took 9 1/2 hours. They were exhausted (and perhaps a little careless) by the end.

Shaun was prompt, friendly, and the estimate he faxed, later that day, was very detailed and helpful in making a decision to go with Emery's. Packing day, Shaun, Ed and Terry were very work-focused and pleasant. They got to work immediately and kept busy the entire time. Moving day, Shaun, Frank, Terry and Daniel got to work immediately upon arrival, worked continually with reasonable breaks. The unloading went very well, and all the men were most competent and friendly. All our belongings and furniture arrived in good condition. Boxes were packed with care and plenty of packaging to avoid any damage. The entire process made it evident that all the men were competent and experienced packers and movers. Daphne, in the office, was very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. Emery's is a family business, with down-to-earth people who are professional, friendly and willing to work with the client in whatever way is necessary. We highly recommend them.

They arrived on time and were very polite. They worked very hard and had the entire house cleared (all items already packed) within 3 hours. They were careful unloading the large pieces of furniture. No damage was done to new house. Floors and banisters were covered. Finished unloading by 2:30 pm. Came in under estimated price. Even assembled crib and moved furniture from POD to basement. Excellent job done.

I was very impressed with this company's work. I moved my office from one location to two others. They handled the move professionally - on time - and did not break anything. I would certainly use them again.

We were pleased with all aspects of Emery's service. I could recommend them, without reservation, for anyone contemplating a move or a storage situation.

The movers were very friendly, and asked where I wanted things to go. I had previously marked the boxes with where they belonged and I was pleased to find that helped keep things moving smoothly. My belongings were packed safely with a lot of moving blankets used for cushioning. I had planned to transfer some of my fragile things (china and dishes) in the back of my car. However, they took them in the moving truck with everything else. Not one thing was broken, chipped, or otherwise damaged! I was impressed with how they used padding to cover the floors for protection. It had been a cold and rainy day, if they had not protected the floors the carpets would have needed cleaning. They were very professional and got me moved out quickly and efficiently.

GREAT CREW... REALLY BUSTED THEIR HUMPS AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND CAREFUL. THE ONE SMALL ISSUE IS THAT THE ESTIMATOR UNDERESTIMATED THE AMOUNT OF TRUCK NEEDED, SO I ENDED UP NEEDING TO TAKE SEVERAL TRAILER LOADS MYSELF. I'M SURE THEY'D HAVE SENT ANOTHER TRUCK IF I WANTED IT, BUT I SAID TO JUST GO WITH WHAT THEY HAD AND I COULD DO THE REST.
