Movers did an outstanding job each time. They were very careful with furniture, big screen, etc. Didn't hurt a thing, had years of experience doing this, and I would highly recommend them.

The crew that moved us from our old house to storage was prompt and professional. They loaded everything carefully and were on time and on budget. The crew that was supposed to deliver to our new home were supposed to show up at 9 A.M. and didn't arrive until after 2 P.M. They called once to say they would be there around noon. Our overall complaint, however, was that my wife's family china was broken along with other important dishes. They were the only things broken. They were properly packed by us, with plenty of protection. The degree to which the wares were shattered could only have meant egregiously dropping or abusing the two boxes. Several calls and messages were placed by my wife to the owners to get some explanation and resolution but no calls/messages have been returned. Overall, the process started out great but ended up less than satisfactory.

Emery's Moving did a great job. I contacted them in early May about a quote, the final price came in within $100 of this quote. They handled the items carefully, were pleasant to talk with, and in general, did a superb job.

The two men who moved us were professional and polite. It was an extremely hot day, but it didn't seem to slow them down very much. Nothing was broken. The price was very reasonable, especially with the discount for being an Angie's List member. The truck was covered in graffiti, which took something away from the professionalism of the company.

This was our BEST EVER experience with moving. The crew was very professional, pleasant to work with, and very, very careful. Our new house has hardwood floors, and they put boards down to protect the floors and prevent any dents or scratches which was especially important since we have a piano. They finished the job in very good time, and the price was extremely reasonable. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Emery's showed up on time, was fun to work with, worked hard... an overall great experience. My parents are moving soon and I have recommeded them. Came in under estimate.

Packers were prompt and efficient on the 1st day, and took reasonable breaks. After they left, I found some cabinets that were overlooked. On moving day, two guys showed up late, after I called Daphne and asked where they were, and the third (who they had been waiting for) came an hour or two later. I found out after the truck was packed that my furniture didn't get wrapped or inventoried for storage because the movers hadn't been told about storage and it was a different crew than the packers or sales person. The didn't have anything to protect the wood floors or plaster walls. On move in day, they were late but had gotten lost (reasonable since the neighborhood is new). Again, nothing to protect new carpet or walls, so my husband insisted they at least put blankets over railings. The final cost exceeded the firm estimate and the owner asked if we'd split the difference - we agreed. She also agreed to repair a wall that had been damaged, but it's been two weeks without contact.

The three movers, Jack, Jimmy and Mike did a fantastic job. They were on time, and Jack as the team leader came in and assessed what had to be moved, and how they were going to pack it on the truck. They were very polite and careful with all of our furniture. I was impressed with their questioning where boxes and furniture were to be placed if they weren't marked. They set up the beds and placed the furniture exactly where we asked for it to be placed. Mike had me do a walk through with him to make sure we were satisfied with the placement of everything. The final cost even with the discount came in $200 more than the lowest estimate, but the cost was worth the service we got. The three men worked hard the entire time, and they worked extremely well together. If we ever move again I want Jack, Jimmy and Mike as our movers!

Emery's Movers were great! Although they had the highest estimate of the three companies I called, they also took the most time to understand what I'd be moving and the drive time involved. Their hourly rates were the best by far, and the Angie's List discount was even better! Shawn, Terry and Daniel were friendly, helpful, and hard-working. They took few breaks, and they always let me know beforehand. They helped me figure out what to do with the awkward items, such as rakes and shovels, and they were careful with my furniture and artwork. They even offered to stick around to help me rearrange my furniture at my new place. The final charge for my move was less than my estimate. I would highly recommend Emery's movers, and I will definitely hire them again when I buy a house in the future.

These movers were exceptional. I have moved 8 times in the last 12 years, and I have had a variety of moving experiences. Emery Movers was the best experience. Jack and Daniel were the movers, and they were professional, courteous and cheerful. They were quick and efficient. I pretty much got out of their way and didn't supervise closely. When I went downstairs I saw that they had carefully wrapped everything in the truck. All of my furniture arrived in perfect condition. These are great movers!

They were quick, but careless. They damaged something in front of me, and acted like it was no big deal. Then I saw a bunch of dings on things.

This one-day (12 hours start to finish, including breaks) move went very smoothly. Hard working crew persevered despite some cold rain the second half of the day (late December). Most importantly, furniture was cared for well, with no significant damage, scuffs, or harm to our possessions. Great pre-move communication with Daphne in the office, too. Rates seemed much lower than another AL mover we used just six months earlier. Anyone seen the remote for the stereo though??

The crew from Emery's Movers were on time, professional, and overall did a great job. We would definitely use them again.

Left a very detailed voicemail message regarding moving over two weeks ago, and never received a response. I wouldn't call that "super service".

Calls are handled quickly and courteously. The company is very responsive and everyone is nice. The packers and movers were thoughtful and attempted to make the move as painless as possible. The packers did an amazing job. The movers did a great job, too, although it took a lot longer than I had hoped. Our 3 man crew was reduced to a 2 man crew when an employee failed to report to work that day. Rather than leave us stranded, the remaining 2 men came to the house a bit later that morning, apologized for the situation, and worked extremely hard to complete our move for us. They did a good job, but a 3 man crew would have gotten it done more quickly. We were charged for the 2 man crew instead of the 3 man crew and they actually came in a couple hundred of dollars below their estimate.

Called to say they were stopping to gas up the trucks & may be late. Arrived only 5 minutes late. Were very careful with all our furniture. Packed the trucks meticulously so nothing would shift. Wrapped much of the furniture with quilted pads. Worked from 9 am until 5 pm packing the trucks & then from 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm unloading. Very pleasant crew. No extra charge for piano.

I am totally satisfied and very impressed with their strength and agility in moving some very heavy, large, oversized, cumbersome objects of furniture. It was a pleasure to have their help in completing my moving project quickly and efficiently. I also appreciated the Angie's List discount and coupon which made the price more affordable.

Really good experience. The 2 guys arrived a little early, which was no problem. Quickly took out the sofa (it was heavy because it was a sleeper sofa) & disassembled the non-working treadmill. They had to take off the handrail to get the new treadmill down to the basement. The put everything back without my asking them. They were courteous & very careful. They made sure the 2 items were exactly where I wanted them at the curb for pick up. Another company quoted $60 more for the same work.

Very good move. No damage. Very careful with my things. Helped arrange, and rearrange, at the new place. Very gentlemanly movers. The Angie List's discount made the price even more reasonable.

The crew sent were very respectable and courteous. They packed everything carefully and designated the destination of the box. The boxes were labeled and initialed by the packer. Everything moved arrived safely, and no damage was done to the walls or door frames. This was a big pack job as it was my father's house and had 40 years worth of items accumulated. I was extremely impressed by how efficient the crew was in packing. They worked very hard only stopping for lunch. Part-way through the day the leader advised me that they may not get finished packing everything on day 1 - and offered me the option of staying late that night or returning the next day to finish packing and then performing the move. The crew stayed till evening on day 1 and returned the next day to finish and perform the move. They all treated the possessions as if they were their own. I highly recommend this company. I thought the price was extremely reasonable for the job.

Emery sent a crew of 4 guys and 2 trucks to do the job. They were the hardest working four guys I have ever seen. They were organized, polite, and had a great "we can do that" attitude. They showed up promptly at 9:00 am, just as they said they would, and worked until 7:00 pm. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Letter perfect. Courteous, careful, helpful. In every respect delivered as promised with a good helping thrown in.
