The preliminary visit from Shawn went very well. He walked through the house and gave us an estimate for moving and possible storage. He explained the entire process what we could expect etc. Daphene in the office was very helpful and answered all of our questions cheerfully. On the day of the move a crew of 3 showed up exactly on time, verified what we were expecting them to do and proceeded to load the truck. They were helpful, thoughtful, cheerful and very careful of all of our items. At the new house they were very careful not to mar the new paint and were very careful not to track in dirt. This was the first time we've hired a mover but my husband and I both highly recommend EMERY'S MOVERS for their professional and helpful attitude.

They did very well. The movers were careful and well mannered, accepted instruction, and allowed the customer to closely monitor moving. They moved valuable solid cherry heirloom furniture without incident.

The move went very well and took just 6 hours to complete.

Everything went as expected and they were right on the estimate we received. We had no broke items either.

Nice guys, good work. Nothing was dropped, nothing broke, and they were great about putting my boxes where I wanted them in my new house. I would give them all A's except that they removed the floating shelves from my entertainment unit when packing the truck, and the floating shelves are now nowhere to be found (they're not in my new house or my old house, and I'm told they weren't found on the truck). With the Angie's List discount taken into account, their hourly price is pretty good, and the total cost was well worth having a trustworthy group handling my move.

It started off with a phone call stating they were running late due to a worker's car breaking down. They arrived 1 1/2 hours late from the original time given us. Then the foreman was ill and couldn't move very fast plus he couldn't find the needed material and had to contact headquarters to see about getting it, low and behold it was in the truck all along. The other two workers were constantly waiting on the foreman to tag our belongings. The process was very long. A job we were told which would be very quick and simple because we had to close on our house that day took from 10:30 in the morning to 4:30. Six months later, I called six weeks early to schedule our next move and was promised first thing in the morning and the truck would be loaded the night before. We received a call at 9:30 the morning of the move to state AGAIN, someone's car broke down, and they would be arriving late because the truck STILL needed to be loaded. They got to our apartment at 12:20.

Contacted Shaun Smith at Emery. Estimate provided and move was scheduled on short notice, five days. This was less time than their usual schedule. Work performed with two men and truck. China cabinet was wrapped in plastic, for added protection. Worked efficiently and completed move in less time ( 5.25 hours) than estimate ( 7- 8 hours). Very careful with furniture, with no damage to furniture.

They provided a rough estimate for our move. Will call again.

It went very well. They showed up when expected, loaded the couch, and delivered it without incident. They are terrific.

Smooth. They scheduled us on the wrong day, but quickly got a crew out to our house. The guys worked very very hard and did a fantastic job despite being tired.

We were very pleased. I have since recommended Emery's to a couple of other people who were moving. All 4 men worked very hard and took only reasonable breaks in terms of frequency and length. The men had the foresight to bring an extra truck for the move, which ended up being needed. They worked late and completed the job in one day. The price was about 10% higher than was estimated but their original estimate was on the low end of the different estimates I received. In the end, I thought the crew earned every penny.

They were outstanding. They were very punctual. We did not have any damages, they were very careful. Dafny coordinated the move and did a great job. They were quick and responsive. I couldn't ask for more. They moved us twice and there was no damage with either move.

Ed, Matt & Daniel were fabulous! They were on time, did everything quickly and carefully, and were very professional. I'd definitely use Emery's again.

Job 1: Excellent! Job 2: I called them to schedule one day and had to postpone. We were under of the next day but I called them on the spur of the moment and they were ready with their team. They came in and packed him up and moved him without wasting any time. They even stopped by my house to pick up a treadmill and still got done on record time. I was the one that hired them and I was the one that coordinated the move and paid them once the job was completed. I was impressed and would use them again.

Very courteous, always cared about what they were doing. Very good overall!

Excellent job. It took longer than estimated and the work crew hung in there until the job was finished at about 11:30 pm.

Prompt, hard-working, fast, polite, helpful. A little bit pricey; but it was worth it. They took outstanding care of our furniture, not a single scratch or nick on anything. Overall a great experience!

Price was the best however upon delivery the price was not what we were quoted.

Very good experience. Moving team was careful, courteous, and answered questions I had about moving our piano and other items we had concerns about. Nothing broken or scratched (including walls, stained banisters, wood floors, etc, in the new home). I would highly recommend them.

They are going to finish moving us in September. They did an excellent job. The three men that worked were great. We didn't have any trouble. Everything was packed securely.

I was impressed with Emery from the first time I spoke with Daphne to schedule the move. The move happened quickly (within three weeks of the initial call). The service and attention to detail was outstanding. The employees were very pleasant and extremely hard working. My sister is moving in 3 weeks and is using Emery (and requesting the same crew) because they just did a great job!

We moved from a three bedroom 2-story house to another house that was also two stories. The men worked very hard and were careful with our household furnishings. They were respectful and I would definitely recommend them and would use their services again. A move is always stressful, but having selected this company made it as pleasant as possible.

Job 1: Emery's did an outstanding job in both moves. Terry & his crew were polite, friendly, hard working, & dedicated to getting the job done promptly. They also were very careful w/our items. They took great care in not damaging any of the houses involved in the moves. The office staff were also very easy to work with. In our move, we had several large & heavy pieces of exercise equipment that had to be moved from the 2nd floor. We were very nervous about moving since we had heard horror stories about movers. However, Emery's made the experience very enjoyable for myself & my mother. Job 2: Terry & his crew from Emery's Movers were incredible - especially since we moved on the hottest day of the year to date - July 31st. They have always been very professional, polite, & careful. They truly care about making the moving experience very positive since it s stressful. We have already recommended Emery's to several of our friends who might be moving within the next year or so.
