From our first conversation with Daphne, we had a feeling this would go well. She was very specific with the cost estimate and scheduling. On the day of the move the driver called to let us know they were on the way. Upon arrival, the 3 guys assessed the items to be moved and began loading. They wrapped almost everything before loading and were very efficient. They unloaded everything at our new house without incident and placed everything where we asked them to. When they were finished, the move took an hour less than expected, so they adjusted the price to reflect it. All 3 of the guys were great--very nice, respectful and professional. Moving is a pain, and the last time we moved we used a different mover and it was a disaster. These folks were great from start to finish!

Emery's is great to work with. We used them to move our entire house, both locations within Indianapolis, over the course of 2 moves - we left some furniture to keep the house staged to sell. They were early every time, efficient, courteous and very helpful. They brought wardrobe boxes the day of the moved, helped me to load them, moved them and then let me unpack them so they could take them back with them that morning. Everything arrived in perfect condition. We also used them twice to move items around within our home, and again were early and efficient. They managed to get a couch into the basement that I doubted would fit, but they worked to maneuver it two different ways through the house until it made it down the stairs.

The experience was the best it could have been. The employees were polite, conscientious of protecting our things, and very fast. Emery movers made our moving experience easy and smooth. I recommend this company to all who want a smooth, affordable and professional experience.

They were not in any hurry at all which of course why would they be since they're getting paid by the hour. They took 3 smoking breaks in the 3 plus hrs they were there which seemed excessive. I expected a lot more to get done in a lot less time. Although we got moved and nothing broke. I would not use them again though.

We were very grateful to Emerys Movers LLC. They came out the day I purchased the Big Deal and got everything done. I was impressed by their reliability and their accountability. They got the job done, even in bad weather. They were friendly and helpful.

Five movers, two trucks, nine hours and the quote by Daphne was dead on. These guys worked their tails off and absolutely nothing was broken. The move was complicated by the fact some items from each house needed to go to a storage unit and they worked that all out. We downsized from three floors (4200 sq.ft.) to ranch style (1700 sq.ft.) - there were a lot of stairs to climb and a lot of heavy boxes. They disassembled/reassembled furniture and never complained. I bugged Daphne many times before the move with little questions and she was always gracious. Fortunately the weather cooperated but they were concerned about tracking sand into the house so they put down protection and I swept up during the day. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into a really pleasant experience.

Went very well. Pricing was better than all other movers in area also. Will use again.

Call was answered promptly. Daphne gave me a competitive rate for an "odd" moving job -- just moving 1 piece of furniture within a house -- and got me scheduled for the very next day. Two men arrived 15 minutes early for the job and were very professional. They worked quickly and were careful around tight corners. They needed to borrow my tools to take a piece off the treadmill to make it fit but were apologetic that they didn't have theirs with them.

We were refered to them by a friend and we were very happy. It was bitter cold out that day, I think around 0 degrees. The guys were in good moods, were very friendly and helpful. They didnt mess around or complain. They just got the job done with care! I will bemoving again once we find a house to buy and plan on using them for that move.

I have also used them before. It went beautifully. Their scheduling was great. They could come out when I needed them to and they had very reasonable price. It was a small move for them but it was important for me because I could not get the thing down there myself.

They were awesome I would recommend them to everyone.

It went great! They were on time and went right to work. They noticed things that needed attention - glass on coffee table was broken and took appropriate action. They followed my directions about delivery - where certain things went, etc. They finished the job in the allotted time! I didn't have to pay more.

The move was much better than I had expected. 3 very polite and efficient guys took care of us. They worked non-stop in spite of me telling them it was okay if they took a break.

They were awesome! Very polite, considerate movers - they even shoveled the walkways in order not to track in any snow! I will definitely use them again in the future! Wish I could leave an A+! Thanks! Happy Holidays!

The movers were excellent. They worked efficiently taking care to keep my newly painted interior without any blemishes. I would definitely use their services again.

My only complaint was when I went to pay them they said there was a travel charge of $56 that I wasn't aware of.

The movers moved my possessions into storage for two months, stored the items, and then moved me into my new house. They did a good job. They had to move an extremely heavy treadmill out of the basement of my old house, and I really felt for them. There was a little scratching of the paint at the old house as they moved the treadmill up the stairs and a little hole in the wall at the new one as they moved it down into the basement of the new house. Again though, the treadmill was so heavy and difficult to control. I think some scratching and such is to be expected. I had to touch up paint at the old house anyway. They offered on the spot to patch the hole at the new one if I had some spackle I want to point out, but I told them not to worry. I had a large glass table top piece that was broken during the move, but they credited me (at my option) for move expenses after offering to have a replacement piece made. Other than that and some broken dishes that was likely attributable to my not packing as well as I should have, everything was fine. Emery showed up on time and did a very good job. There price was very reasonable - part was a special Angi's list deal. They wrapped art pieces and other items needing protection well for the move with their own provided blankets. The guys on both teams were friendly and no one complained (at least to me) even after seeing some of the heavy stuff (like the treadmill) that needed moved. With the move and storage, they did lose some hardware to a couple beds but I did agree to a very fair service credit for those lost pieces as well. The movers said that typically hardware is taped to items so I do not think this is typical for them to lose any hardware. Plus I had items stored so moving from place to place the same day would not have created an issue probably. Overall I was very pleased with Emery, and I would use them again.

It turned out really well. I was able to do a local move and it happened within that time period of the Big Deal. Everything I needed was all within that time period. Everything I wanted moved got moved, all my furniture and everything I had bought. They were friendly, courteous, on time and careful with my stuff. I had the boxes marked whether they were inside or if they remain outside in the garage. If I wanted something moved after they had sent it down, like I wanted this box over here instead of over there, they gladly did that. They set up the bed. They were good and everything I anticipated they should be, so I was not pleased in any way they performed. It was a good deal.

Everything went pretty smoothly. The team showed up on time and kept a pretty good pace on the day, which I appreciated as I was paying by the hour. Our stuff filled up one truck and made a pretty good dent in a second. The trip included a trip to a storage locker to pick up some furniture we had bought from a company going out of business. The move in went pretty well, but there were a few snags. Some of the furniture wouldn't fit through doorframes without help, and I had to supply my own tools and take the legs off of couches to make things fit. I also had to supply tools for the tearing down and putting together of our master bed and our child's crib. I took the door off of its hinges in one room after being told a piece wouldn't fit. The piece fit fine with the door off. I don't like hearing something can't be down only to have that proven incorrect with about 2 minutes and a Phillip's head. But I can't complain. They moved a LOT of furniture and it was a long day, 9 hours in total. And they did not take a ton of breaks, either.

Very well, it was a long day! On time, courteous, hardworking guys. Dean was very professional for the estimate and Daphne was easy to work with on the phone.

I used Emery's in the past, and they did not disappoint! They are very customer oriented and the crew of guys were fantastic! This was not an easy move with steep stairs and lots of dishes! I hope I will never move again, but if I do, I will use Emery's.

They were little late showing up, no big deal. My husband walked them through the townhome and the job foremen, was bit on the rude that some of the boxes were not fully taped up. The 2 guys that came with him, one showed up in sandals (which he changed, to shoes.) Skinny guy was fast, nice and very solid worker. The other guy was rude and complained. The skinny mover was super friendly and helped moved the gas dryer around for us, which we were super impressed with. The other guy used our bathroom and did not flush. The skinny guy went and flushed for him. The other guy complained that the solid oak hutch was so heavy and was rude about the fact it was heavy. We were little dumbfounded on his job choice. Skinny kid apologized for his co-worker. When we move again would we use their service again, unsure. We should have been charged extra $220.00 for the 2 hrs. over, the foremen did only charge us $168.00. Over all, not the worse moving company I have used. If you buy the $375.00 package and stay within the 4hrs, not bad deal

three men came and they were very effecient and courteous, they were careful with the items and no damage.

I called and spoke with the owner two times. Each time they were not able to give quote as they were not in the office. I gave them my phone number and was told they would call me back as soon as they got back to the office. Never received call back on either occassion.
