Description of Work: After cleaning our chimney and Fireplace, we were supposed to get an estimate for repairs to the chimney cap. We never received a quote for the additional work. We called, we emailed, and we even went to their store to ask about the estimate and never heard from them. It was a disappointment because we had used Ely Stokes several times since living in Indy.

Description of Work: The serviceman examined my chimney and did the cleaning I purchased. He went above and beyond, climbed onto my 2nd-story roof on a snowy day and discovered some significant damage to my chimney. He made recommendations as to what needed to be done, and I will schedule this appointment at a later date. He was very neat, helpful and courteous, and I would definitely call this company again.

Description of Work: We called ahead of purchasing the deal, which included chimney inspection and cleaning for $99. We had an abnormal scenario so we just wanted to make sure before we purchased it, those services would still apply for the same amount. They arrived on time and worked quickly. They told us what we needed to fix and said they would e-mail us over a quote. We didn't receive the quote. We tried calling several times and e-mailing, but didn't receive it until May 6th. We were shocked at the overall cost for brick replacement. We decided to get a quote from some other companies, which were significantly cheaper.

We appreciate the feedback. We apologize the proposal was not received in a timely manner, and will certainly use this feedback to better our services. We encourage all customers to get multiple quotes, as each situation is different and in some cases a "patch" can be performed at a cheaper price than a full repair. In this case we were recommending a replacement using new materials and a warranty. Thank you again for taking the time to post a report.

Description of Work: The appointment had to be rescheduled a couple of times, but they communicated with me and let me know of any delays. The inspector found a few things that needed to be addressed and they company later sent me an estimate of what needed to be done.

Description of Work: They did an inspection and cleaning of our fireplace. They did a very good job. |They pointed out some cracks in our firebrick. They indicated it was a easy fix, but not to use the fireplace prior to making the fixes. | |They also pointed out some other areas of concern. They took pictures of the damaged area, and showed them to me. They are going to give us a quote for the repairs. |The serviceman was very good; very professional.
