Description of Work: I purchased a fireplace inspection and cleaning. The provider was promo in getting back to schedule apt., however, the only thing he did was wipe the inside of the glass. Nothing else. I was expecting a thorough cleaning...including dust. Nope. He was very nice and arrived early even. I just wasnt pleased with the lack of work done.

Description of Work: I don't remember the exact date or cost - we had an Angie's list discount. My husband worked with them, and was very pleased. They cleaned the fireplace and checked everything out.

Description of Work: Inspected and cleaned my chimney. They were punctual, neat and left without a trace of soot or dust in the room.

Description of Work: Rob, the chimney sweep, came at exactly the appointed time. When he came to the door, he had already checked the outside of two chimneys. He was careful to put down drop cloths to protect carpeting. After cleaning the chimney from the inside, he checked the gas logs in the fireplace. He worked hard at salvaging a very old system, but we both agreed that new logs were necessary. He suggested a visit to their store to see available sets, but there was absolutely no pressure. It was a good experience.

Description of Work: Master Sweep Robert Cheney arrived on time. He introduced himself and we discussed what was included in the Angie's List DEAL that I'd purchased. He did a quick visual inspection of the fireplace, damper, and flue. We discussed ways to improve the fireplace operation. He returned to his truck, brought in the equipment needed, took steps to keep from tracking anything into the house, apologized for the noise from the vacuum, and went to work. He offered, at an extra cost, to replace some of the glowing embers in the coals bed and to rearrange the fireplace logs for an improved effect. My wife and I agreed that such additional work was needed, and he promptly took care of it. Then he provided us with a 5-minute time of instruction about operation of the fireplace, cleaning of the glass doors, and general considerations for a gas fireplace. |This gentleman was totally professional, personable, took significant pride in his work, and left us feeling glad that we'd had them come to our house for this cleaning.

Description of Work: Purchased a big deal for a chimney inspection. The technician was on time, cleaned the chimney, found that we have two missing chimney caps and answered questions regarding future gas log installation.
